If you are having problems with pets......check this out.

It might be your graphics card.

so if you are not sure go to http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/
and choose the sims 3 pets.

it will tell you if your graphics card is bad or if you are out of the minimum requirement.

that way you wil know if its your computer or if its the game itself.

Phew, mine says it'll run. I made some very expensive upgrades to my computer in May this year including a new motherboard, more RAM, and a new graphics card. Just have to wait until tomorrow to pick up my game :)

    WOW.

Looking at the results was interesting - I didn't think my computer was so good! Not shabby at all for a 3-year-old laptop. :P

Yayyyy I have faith! Perhaps this is why the update didn't destroy my game?

That site also said my computer exceeded requirements and I was good to go. However, my pets are still distorted. Everything works great, just the pets look like some kind of crazy science experiment gone wrong. I am really ***** about this. What is the point? I purchased the game so I could enjoy the PETS! So annoyed, I was so looking forward to this game.

This website has been around forever and is fun and can be a good quick reference guide, however it is more often than not incorrect in it's readings, saying the computer meets the requirements when it does not. It only takes into consideration hard numbers, not compatabilities, driver issues, known issues, etc.

    Fun, yes. Accurate, no.

Are your pets distorted like mine?
