    How to add pet to existing family?

    I know it has been asked before but I searched and can't find the answer. How do you add a pet to an existing family? I know that you can adopt at the different animal parks and over the phone, but how do you create your own pet and add them to the family?

    I want to customize the pets I have and then add them to the family, is there a way of doing this?

      Go to edit town. Create a new pet. then merge it with your existing house hold.

      that will be handy when i finally get pets (im poor otherwise i would have bought it today) cause im going to remake the pets i created for my sim because im pretty sure they added and refined **** in create a pet
