      Do you mean you deleted it or it dissapeared?

      I deleted one save (thinking I would be able to get the backup save to work) but when I went back in it wasn't there and it has never failed me before.

      its really important I get this save back!!! Its my legacy family!!! and I don't want to start from stratch..it will take too long!!!

      If you haven't emptied your recycle bin (or don't have it set to auto-empty), you can right click on the save and have it restored to it's original folder.

      Hoping that you didn't lose it permanently.

      I even tried that.already and the save doesn't appear at all.

      In your save folder do you have anything that is named like it at all? Maybe with a different ending on it?

      Don't you guys understand? I thought my oringal save was corrupted, so I quit the game and deleted the one save. I then renamed the BACKUP SAVE and then I went to the main menu...but the save wasn't there.

      Did you rename the backup save correctly? it's whatever the save is then .sims3.backup
