I have not a single bad thing to say about your entry! Everything about it is totally fabulous. I LOVED your behind the scenes shot. She gets a lot of male attention, it seems >.< Your professional headshot is to die for! Your model suits that theme style perfectly. Great work!

Comments: Your part one photo is fantastic. Great to see you get in depth with the little story behind it and actually coming up with something that we wouldn’t expect, like the model diva. Great use of poses and excellent positioning. I also really like Gianna’s casual outfit, it still has some level of style and class but has a comfortable look to it. I did feel like it needed a little more light, backstage at that photo shoot looks a bit too dark, maybe a spotlight behind the group of men, just to lighten it up a tiny bit but still keeping the dramatic look. Gorgeous head-shot, I think it’s the most creative head-shot I’ve even seen someone put together. I love the pin up, vintage look Gianna has in it too, definitely something that would catch the eye of photographers and designers. The lighting is fantastic, I would have preferred the shadow not to darken the whole right side of her face but I’m glad you decided to do something dynamic since it’s hard to get creative and have a head-shot stand out. The pose is nice, it would have been better if she was looking straight at the camera, or maybe looking in a direction that doesn’t totally make her pupil disappear; I like to see her beautiful eyes.

Your headshot was to die for! Your model’s face is so incredibly unique and her eyes are gorgeous!! Great work. Your behind the scenes shot was a little toooo candid, if you know what I mean. The point of the behind the scenes shot was to show us who your model is when the cameras are put away…I don’t feel like I got that from your shot. Also, the lighting is a bit dim. Otherwise, amazing work!

Comments: Great set for the Part One photo. It’s great seeing some extras in the set, fleshing out that theme of it being a busy backstage scene. Not a fan of the pose in relation to the story you gave, Lilla doesn’t really look like she’s being a diva or being difficult, she looks more like she’s confused. Hairstyle is great, reminds me of something a makeup artist would pull a models hair into before getting to work on her face. The outfit was a bit too casual for me, more like something you would see a regular girl on the street wearing rather than a model on a photo shoot. The top teamed with something other than the tacky cut off jean shorts would have worked though. Love the angle you took the shot at, but remember to pattern that ceiling when you do use creative camera angles, the grey uncoloured unpatterned look doesn’t work well with the brick detailing of the wall. Lovely smooth head-shot. Nice angle and great pose, I like the fact you added in her hand just to add that little bit of extra to the shot. I’m a bit at wars with the close-up, I like the fact you did something different to the other two and I’m usually a huge fan of well done close-ups, but I don’t know if it really works for the assignment. I would think that potential employers would like to see Lilla’s graceful neck and shoulders and how she holds herself as well as her facial features.

I really liked your entry. Your behind the scenes was really good! Your model looks very happy and quirky and the background is amazingly detailed. I do wish that your extra was doing something a little more though then just sitting there…if you have an extra in your shot, he or she should be engaged in something. Your headshot was very good quality! I wasn’t a huge fan of the smile, though. I was hoping to see a more high fashion head shot, and I just didn’t feel that about yours. Otherwise, amazing job!

Comments: I love the casual outfit you designed for your Part one section. It looks like something I would personally buy; it has that stylish look to it while still looking very relaxed. Nice to see that Tara is the nice girl behind the scenes, friends with everyone, she looks very approachable and positive. The overall idea didn’t really leap out as something super creative or innovative, but it has excellent composition, beautiful quality and a great use of different colors and patterns. The head-shot is gorgeous. Love the fact you decided to go with a smile rather than the regular model pout or stony face. I’m also very into the girly, soft theme you used with the feminine hairstyle and pale background and clothing it really sets you entry apart from the others and shows us something we haven’t really seen from Tara yet. I did get a bit of a commercial head-shot feel from it a bit, like something you would get from an upmarket family photo studio rather than a high fashion modelling studio, but it is very striking.
