[Crowded House] The house and the housemates!

Okay. First time doing this so I hope I've got things right. I've also been looming around the forums a lot lately and have noticed people tend to do this sort of thing so I decided to give it a go.

I'm currently planning a comedy series which I'll be uploading to my Live Journal account and here on the site using the Sims 3 creations. I've made my characters (uploaded as separate Sims and as a household) and the setting (the lot) and they've been uploaded to the exchange. More about that in a moment. So far I've decided that the story, or as I like to call it, 'show' will be called Crowded House which will be about this group of young adults who begin to live together because they can't afford to be on their own. I'll be doing another topic (in the stories forum) when I've actually got some material that I can expose some more details on the show. But I figured that I have the house and the Sims done so I might as well share them now and save having a huge post if I included both.

All of my creations are CC FREE! I also use minimal store content - you can easily replace the furniture if you want to use your store content. You turn one of the bedrooms into a study or anything you like. But these modifications don't mean you can re-upload my creation. Enjoy! If you like please recommend :D If you have any feedback please leave it; no flames but constructive criticism is welcome.

Starting with the Sims

And this is probably my favorite feature... I like the fountain tool :D

Edit: updated information. AND I apologise for not having a close up view on any of the rooms; I got frustrated with the camera controls...

That's a relief! Thank you very much the compliment and the friend request. I've been looking at your creations, recommended a few and will come back latter to download them when my internet usage resets. :D

Hi! Looks like you have a great start here. I personally would like to see more landscaping, some more small plants and shrubs. I think it looks more realistic also to have some kind of pavers or flooring around the pool area, unless you are just using it as a fountain, and then plants and some of the very low fencing would look nice. And I would also play around with the garage roof -- try different roofing styles, or a rooftop patio might be nice.

Good luck with your story! Sounds like you have some wonderful ideas.

EDIT: Forgot to say that I left you a rec.

It's funny that you mention that about the roof top patio; I was planing on doing that but then I decided I'd use that in another lot (one with a similar but smaller design). Landscaping - when I try it always turns out funny looking I played around with it but then decided to scrap it. I just need some practice. The pond is just and pond and is there for decoration even though it looks like a pool. I've seen a pond that looked similar in real life so I thought I'd try put it into the game. :D
