  beam is an special effect using an emitter. I saw a tutorial on placing the emitter somewhere... just not sure where maybe ModtheSims.

  There must be an easier way to do it, but I haven't managed to find the LighthouseFX object in the game files yet to make it show in CAW!

  Aragona09, no need to google it, I put the link in my post above. Alternatively you could do this using the fog emitter on a lot, but this has the disadvantage of not being visible from a distance.
