    No open neighbourhood, no Create-a-style and can't place furniture on angles.

    You can place furniture on an angle in the sims 2, just enter allow45DegreeAngleofRotation true/false and use the < > keys....

    My reason is also lack of story progression. I was always switching families trying to keep everyone at the same age. It was such a pain!
