Is it worth the 10 dollars?

It seems like there are a lot of problems still with the iphone game, is it worth the 10 dollars even if it crashes often? Or should I just stick to my laptop?

Its okay, its nice to have while waiting for an appointment or something but I definitely wouldn't trade it for TS2 or TS3... kind of reminds me of TS1 in a way...

Does it only work on the Iphone or would it work on any type of phone?

There's two separate versions. One for the IPhone/IPod Touch, and one for other mobile phones.

Be careful...just heard from a friend in Scotland...the I-Pod is crashing just as bad as the computer version.

The game is great but it does have its problems. If you are having problems with crashing, reset iPhone. It isn't actually the app that is the problem it is memory allocation from the iPhone. This is a memory intensive game, so when another program (email dowloading, etc) it kicks you out of the game. So if you can afford to turn off email or put on airplane mode, it might help.

This is worth the money. I have it on my G3 iphone.
If you are having any problems, sync your phone to itunes and
make sure you are upgraded to the newest iphone software.
Then you can download sims3 from itunes. Some people have
    had less problems doing that.

Mine is not crashing. If you are unsure about your phone, check
the free games and download something with a lot of comparable
action and graphics and see how your phone performs.

I think the iPod version is worth it! Mine crashed a lot when I first got it when it came out, but it hasen't for a while. And hopefully there will be an update that will fix that!

I can't stand playing this game. I really, really wanted to like it. There's a lot more enjoyable games on the iPhone than this. Just my opinion though.

It's worth like five dollars - and that's just because it's made by EA.

I've played better games that were free.

$10 is a little pricey, but tolerable. I know I'm in the minority, but I've never yet had a crash. (Of course, I've probably jinxed myself now.) I'm playing it on an iPod Touch 16GB, not an iPhone, and now have the 3.0 OS.

I bought the game the day it came out, and didn't actually play it much until the last few days. I find some things (like going to work) weren't all that intuitive at first, and were a little frustrating. As I've played more, though, I find it's growing on me and I'm really liking it.
