Alright so its not a HUGE breakthrough idea, nor is it a major problem in the game, but what happened to the Sims having abs?
In the Sims 1 and 2, they had abs. In the Sims 2, you had to be in great shape to have abs.
In the Sims 3, no matter how muscular, how fit, or how often your Sims work out, they don't show any signs of a chiseled stomach. Abs are a beautiful thing, and its a shame that the Sims 3 took that out.
