hehe i'm done for today, i already posted 2 chapters... hmm maybe i should delay the post if i complete more than one chapter in a day so i don't overwhelm the readers with a WOT
SO I should have a chapter out sometime next week, as I don't have a lot to do.
Now that I think about it, I think I will post it on both sites, in fact...I think I'll post it on thesims3legacy.com a day or so BEFORE TS3. This is looking fun already.
pb - Just wanted to say that you are very cool to put together a community for the Legacy folks. I know from experience that what you are doing is time-consuming and a lot of work. Your patience and willingness to do something so nice is really awesome. :-)
I'm going to check it out today and see about at least setting up an RSS feed from mine over there.
I too moved over to the community site... my updated link is andrewsfamily.sims3legacy.com
I need to keep playing and really start writing the story better. I played through fairly far, so the updates aren't that creative. Some decent pictures, though!
Well, I was doing it like "G1: Chapter1 : Title of Post" and was going to move up with the Generations, but I decided to just make it chapters because the chapters still involved generation 1, so I went and changed it to just chapters and I just happen to be on the 13th post.
Maybe I should just leave it as "Title" and not "Chapter #: Title".
I've decided to keep my original Wordpress Legacy blog just because I am pretty happy with exactly how I've got it set up.
But I have joined the community site as well and I am "mirroring" my blog there. Export from one, import to the other - it's pretty easy so far. My community blog URL is http://arborfamilylegacy.sims3legacy.com/.
Importing didn't do the sidebar quite right, so I just tweaked it to show the basic pages. And for some reason it won't wordwrap around Pinstar's image on the front page. Don't know why. Don't care about that stuff though, it's all very minor.
It's titled Lucky? That's the family trait I chose for my Legacy family.
I'm really starting to wonder about it. I'll let you read and see what you think. lol
I'm keeping my original blog on Wordpress as well as the one on the site. I'm doing what Rusalka is. Link to the one on the website is in my sig, but you can read it on Wordpress too if you already bookmarked that blog.

Okay, I've had a nice nap (if you can call waking up to your mother screaming at your father on your phone "nice"), and now I'm ready to continue writing Chapter Four.
I stayed up all night. Literally, it was almost 9:00am where I am and I still hadn't slept, and I couldn't focus on what I was writing anymore, so I took a nap break.
If I have not yet thanked pb for his site, thank you, pb! Although I'm going to keep my Wordpress blog as my main blog, I'll also have it on sims3legacy.com. To keep interest in my Wordpress blog, I'm going to update the sims3legacy blog a day or two after I update my Wordpress blog, so if you want to read the latest installment of The Charm Legacy sooner, go to my Wordpress blog.

Great job Pb - really amazing stuff. :-)
I have signed up on the Sims3 Legacy blog site http://mackenzielegacy.sims3legacy.com - I just did all that work getting my WordPress blog set up, I enjoyed Rusalka's, SerinVal's etc so much I made mine in similar style to all of yours! Now you're all moved!! I'll see about setting up a blog though. Rusalka...is there a quick FAQ on exporting and importing?
Thanks for the advice.

Thank you, pb! Must have been complicated.

I'm gonna keep updating the blogspot first then import it to the mirror.
Tonight when I get home I will change over to the community. For some reason I cannot do it from work.

The Genesis Challenge (Sims 4)
I'll see if I can manage to make a mirror blog on the community site later on.
Darn. I really wanted to have a Chapter A - Week, Chapter B - Weekend, Chapter A - Week, Chapter B - Weekend pattern going.
