From what I see, from your picture, It looks like you need to recolour most, if not all of the images. :P Make sure you have them all... Do a me, and just copy and paste the same textures over. Then keep testing.
I was wondering how you where doing with this, I could not get online last night, I was out watching that new resident evil film.
It looks like you are on the right tracks anyway, a general rule about editing the files, just edit the texture files that contains a pictures, I would not bother to much with the other files, just let the EA files do the stuff.
But yes it looks like your editing the correct file, you will after post a pic when you have finished, it will be nice to see.
