Glad to see a few interested parties already signed up at Creators Consortium. Thank you. I know I've already mentioned it there but I'd like say it again that I really enjoy seeing the empty house come to life with your ideas. Looking forward to seeing more pictures of the interior designs you have come up with.
If you are interested in participating, feel free to download the shell and design away. Post pictures as you go along or post pictures of the complete interior.
I have been having SOOO much fun with this challenge!! I like doing an entire house rather than a room at a time. I will probably have my pictures up tomorrow...Sunday at the latest!
Also, I hope this is okay...I made my own Josh Carlos to live in the house, so I could take some 'in action' pictures. He will be hosting a party, of course.

Jess, yes of course you can make your own Josh. I'm so glad you are having fun with this. There will be more of future challenges like this one for sure. I'm so looking forward to your pictures. Thank you and have fun. :P

Euka and I are working on these together now. She builds and you decorate. There are also links to shells done by the also fabulous PinkLady1 available via the links post in this forum or at TS3 Creators Consortium. Going forward I am considering doing a mix of single rooms and shells. Maybe an occasional whole build. Keep an eye out here and at the main site for new developments. Since we are getting more participants we can start making different levels for Beginner/Intermediate/Advanced. Hopefully that will encourage even more people to enter. Any and all comments and suggestions are welcome. Members can post PM at the site as well.
Remember this is for the fun of creation and sharing with others.
Thanks for reading.

Address/Size/Cost: Forgot to write down address (ack!), 20x30, and the cost is either 145,097 or 126,361 (I checked it twice and got two different things, and I don't think I changed anything in between!!)
Description: I created all the requested rooms/areas in the house. I kept the first floor open, except for a half bath. The area is divided into sections: an entry with a fountain, a dance floor (what party animal doesn't have a dance floor?), a TV area (with requested gaming consoles), a lounge-y sitting area, and an eat-in kitchen. The second floor has a hallway, master suite, and a study with a couple of beds for party guests to crash if they get a little...ahem, tired. I rearranged the outdoors slightly, adding some things and upgrading the lounge chairs. Some features I'd like to point out: the metallic wall coverings on the first floor, use of bamboo as window coverings (next to garage and in front of upstairs hall), designs of mismatched chairs in lounge area (they were too cool to pick just one!), and bronze finish on the dining set. Also, the window treatment for the large window at the dance floor can be closed if desired, or left open to make the neighbors jealous of the awesome parties going on. The color scheme was natural/neutral, with mainly tans and greens, with some pops of neon green and metallics to keep with the modern vibe.
Jess - I posted comments on your picture thread. Excellent work. Love the colors and details. The action shots are a plus. -EQ

Thank you for finding me the perfect candidate. Debbi2qlts has designed the perfect house for Josh Carlos and he has moved into it. Last weekend he threw an enormous party in his tiny front yard and had a blast! His neighbors unfortunately were not too happy with the noise and strangers hanging outside their home. A letter from his neighbor, I prefer to call it an obligation rather than a request...
"Dear Euka,
My name is Elisa Rege and I'm writing to you to thank you and Debbi2qlts for building a home for Josh. He is obviously really happy with it.. in fact too happy to our liking. I live with 2 other room-mates Mark Dagner and Iris Simmons next door to Josh. All 3 of us go to Art School together and making a living from selling our paintings. Every since Josh moved in, we could no longer find any inspiration to paint. We love the outdoors but have been forced to stay indoors of late to shut the noise off from the parties next door. And word has gotten around about how great your interior designers are. Hence I would like you to build me and my 2 other roomies a house preferably far far away from Josh. Please make sure you check up on the neighbors this time, I would be really annoyed to be neighbors with another party animal. And by the way, there is no budget, the local art museum is funding this project for us."
Hence here I am again. I need your help to design the perfect home for them. I found an old Art Loft that belonged to one of the museum founders. He has since passed and his grand-son has offered to sell it to me. We have already began painting works on the exterior and revamped the entire exterior structure. A pool was also added. Please help me find the perfect designer for this house.
Requirements: 1. Outdoor living space (Outdoor trait in all 3 room mates).
2. Lots of colors!
3. No budget.
4. CC is allowed.
5. You are not allowed to change the exterior structure but feel free to refurnish the exterior if you'd like. (With only base game items I am limited to what I can furnish the exterior with) 6. Add windows!
7. Stairs is included in this shell! :P
8. You can edit the 2nd floor outdoor room any way you want.
Thank you once again EQ and Company of talented designers.

I used this colour palette because it was a little masculine but also could be feminine. Good for either the bachelor or the bachelorette.
I used base game, World Adventures and High End Loft Stuff as well as the following custom content.
