In search of a better hair

I am in the process of making a woman.. well, this woman here :
as you can see, she has an EA hair, which literally falls flat. I want something very similar to this, I want one with her hair pulled back to show off her face, I want the headband thing going on, but that hair looks like a pile of feathers. Really.
I'd like it short if possible and definitely in braids of some sort. Does anyone know where I might find one like that?

Sorry, I don't know where to find a hair quite like that.
I think there are dreads archived in My Sims 3 blog dated September 2009. .not totally sure tho.
