    sims 3 seasons

    I think it would be cool to have differnt seasons in the game, it'll go really well with the open community in the game! :D

      I have to hope that an expansion pack for Seasons will definitely come around.

      It enhanced The Sims 2 so much. Sunny skies and warm weather all of the time is torture. I need snow! =P

      I'd imagine it'd be quite difficult to put into place without putting a huge strain on the system. With this game the weather would have to affect the entire city at once rather than just one lot at a time like in Sims 2, on machines that are already struggling to run Sims 3 as it is, adding weather might make the game unplayable. I'd LOVE to have weather back though!

      If there were a season EP I would like to see collectables that are only available in certain seasons.
      I think it would also be neat to have Ice Fishing houses. When its winter the ponds would freeze over and you can set up a temporary shelter there so you can cut a hole in the ice to fish.

      If they bring weather it would be cool to bring back weather related deaths and maybe some weather damge. For example a storm could damge your plants or maybe even your house and a new career Weather man/meteorologist. Great idea hope it happends

      oh and maybe they could make the seasons follow real time seasons and at holidays

      If there is a seasons type EP where weather can damage garden plants then Green houses and hydroponics are in order.

      Well then, to be honest, those people don't have to buy the Expansion Pack. And if they did and it went wrong they could just disable the weather (because I'm sure that would be possible.) and have whatever else the EP has to offer.

      The rest of us shouldn't have to suffer... =/

      Seasons should also have seasonal insects like...
      Cicadas - Summer
      Crickets - Spring and Summer
      June Beetles - When it rains
      Fireflies - Summer
      Bees - Spring, Summer, and Fall
      Dragonfly - Summer

      that would be cool!. Also a thunderstorm could knock out the power, although i imagine that would be hard to work into the game but it would still be cool!. :D

      I guess all they would have to do is make it so all the lights go off and any electronic devises stop working for a little while. Then there could be the moodlet for when there is no lighting.

      There are some great ideas here! For me I miss the seasons ep the most, I loved the rain and the snow in the sims 2, and the autumn leaves were so beautiful. I think they could add strong wind to the sims 3, we can already 'see' the breeze through the trees. They simply have to bring out a seasons/weather ep!

      I also want seasons + pets. :) That would be the best EP ever. And some of the pets could produce food or something. I would love to have bees. :-)

      Seasons was my favourite EP for Sims 2!

      I adored the different benefits of each season, studying up in Autumn/Fall, socialising in summer, romancing in spring etc.

      Aesthetically, can you imagine how stunning Sunset Valley would look all blanketed in snow, or the leaves all red during Autumn/Fall!

      I loved the suggestion about ice fishing and season-relevant collectibles!

      All ponds freeze over in winter, and people can skate *ON* the ponds, and drill holes in and fish in them!
      And ALOT of stones would be easy to find in spring, because the thaw waters washed them out of the ground.
      And bugs in summer, because its when they thrive!

      Season's was one of my favorite EP's and I was praying that they added it in the base game for Sims3....sadly it didn't. Hopefully they will bring it back because it really added that touch of realism to the game. The sunny days every day get really old really quick and I don't know about you all but having a sunny sky and having my Sims dressed in winter gear almost feels like I'm torturing them lol

      I think the dying from drastic temperatures is a bit unrealistic. Sunset Valley isn't exactly the north pole or the sahara desert.

      Maybe just have the heat and cold add negative moodlets...
