Today’s the day! I’m a mix of excited and nervous at the same time. I know it’ll be great though!
The way I see it, sims forums is not a website, it’s a community. It’s the people on the forums (all of you!) that make sims forums the place that it is. I’ve been a member of this forum for (I believe) 2 years, and in that time I’ve enjoyed seeing everyone’s screenshots, funny moments, polls, and stories (and shared a few of my own!)
I’ve seen few (if any) places on the internet quite as special as these forums.
Looking forward to all the great moments we share on the new forum about this crazy, wonderful game we all love called The Sims!
Just popped in to see if anything was developing and wanted to say a fond farewell to the Sims Forums and looking forward to the new forums so that I can post stories again.

Yeah, but it's only now a little after 8:00 AM on the US West Coast. If anyone said where the folks actually do the backend work are, I missed it but that whole rotation of the Earth thing means time is kinda abstract even on good days.
