Celebrating Harvestfest 2005 with my sim self's grandson George and his family, my sim self shows up and gives George one carved guitar as a gift and then presents him with this question:
My sim self has two teenage daughters at home! Do i accept or decline? I'm feeling this question is a bit inappropriate at the moment.
I was happy to move on to the Rasoya family in City Living. Geeta met Zoe Patel through her neighbor, Jesminder Bheeda. She immediately looked for an opportunity to introduce her to her son, Raj. Soon they invited her to move to the city with them. Geeta promised to help Zoe get a distinguished degree in drama to help her comedy career.
It was a slow moving romance, Raj being a very private person. Zoe was also busy working on her degree as well as renewing her friendship with Jesminder, who she knew from school. After the proposal finally took place in their living room, Raj threw a huge engagement party for Zoe inviting his city friends and her friends from Oasis Springs. He made the cake himself.
Later the couple along with Geeta made their way to Myshuno Meadows (lovely lot by JuanitaRivas2810!) where they exchanged vows privately and got some life advice from Geeta who officiated.
Geeta hopes to be a grandmother soon, but Zoe wants to finish her degree first.

When she started her journey to get her biology degree this day seemed a distant dream. But finally after a lot of hard work, sacrifice, and stress, Aurora had all the credits she needed. On the final weekend as she was preparing for her last final exam they welcomed the newest member of the household, Spirit.
Spirit's birth was another blessing and the joy of the moment helped to calm Aurora's raging nerves. She showed up on Monday morning and completed the last step of her journey. She aced her final exam and finished with an A+, not only for the term, but for her entire coursework. She had her degree and it was a distinguished degree with honors.
"Congratulations baby! You worked your pretty butt off and I couldn't be happier or prouder of you."
"Thank you hun. I couldn't have done it without your help."
"I got a surprise for you. After graduation, how 'bout we take a little trip to Tartosa?"
"Oh my God Tre! That's so sweet. I really need some time away."
"I'm glad you agree 'cause I already booked the flight, the rental villa, everything."
Aurora had just enough time before her graduation ceremony to get her hair done for the occasion and to pick out a nice dress. They arrived early the following morning. Aurora was more nervous now than she had been for any of her exams or term papers. The moment felt so surreal. All of the late nights, cram sessions, endless homework, and stress. It all led here and in a few minutes it would all be official.
"Enjoy this moment girl. It's your big day."
"It's a big day, but you still owe me my big day. I know you know what I mean Trevon Carter."
"Don't you worry girl, I got a little something in mind for that."
"I'm going to hold you to that. Now let me go. It's almost time and I need to get my cap and gown."
The ceremony lasted for what seemed like ages. Aurora had just missed out on valedictorian but she was happy to have her degree and honors. And she really didn't mind not having to deliver a speech. Public speaking wasn't her thing unless the audience was hairy and had four legs. But the moment was here, time to celebrate!
Cannot say same for Jacob, at least the shiny part!

I haven't got a photo right now but I recently built my own custom sushi restaurant using Snowy Escape and Dine Out. I also added a City Living karaoke machine upstairs near the bar so San Myshuno isn't the only place for karaoke in my game. I sent my first patrons in there and it went very smoothly. It has a private patio in a bamboo garden and a pretty waiting area. I'm thinking about where to build my own bistro with the Cozy Bistro Kit. I send lots of different groups to these types of venues over and over so that's an improvement for my game.

Their plane arrived in Tartosa late in the afternoon. Aurora and Tre soon arrived at their home from home, Villa Vigna. The villa sat on a bluff overlooking the sparkling azure waters of Tartosa Bay and the square in Porto Luminoso district. In this part of the world the sunsets are breathtaking.
For now they were just excited to get settled in. They were missing everyone back home already but they had faith in Onyx. Aurora and Tre were both blown away by the gorgeous exterior but the interior was no less beautiful.
"This place is so amazing! Oh my God Tre you couldn't have picked a more beautiful villa."
"Nothing but the best for my queen."
"Can you imagine waking up to this every morning?"
Tre had mentioned the pool during the flight. Aurora couldn't wait to get changed and jump in. It wasn't a large pool for swimming, more for relaxation which was just fine with her.

That night they dined out at a cozy little seaside bistro. The tables were candlelit, and there was a delightful sea breeze. It was a long way from the earthy aromas of the barnyard.
It was a lovely setting for a fabulous meal and for conversation.
Aurora suggested this should visit one of the local vineyards. Since they were planning to craft their own nectars it would be a great opportunity to learn a few things about the art. And they could try the best of the best nectars and have something to compare their own to. There was a world renowned vineyard on the other side of the canal. They decided to pay it a visit the following day.
"Would you look at the size of those aging casks! There's like a lifetime supply in each one!"
It was a short trip and they didn't want to leave without spending a little time on the beach. It was the perfect setting to make romantic memories to last a lifetime.
"Hey guys! Tre and I have had a lovely time here in Tartosa. We'll see y'all again soon.❤️"
Zoe's degree in drama helped her on her way to a position as Roast Master in the comedy career. She started streaming her routines to gain fame and happened to be filming when the newest Rasoya, little Ramir, made his way into the world. Zoe instantly became a notable newcomer. I’ve been playing another household the last 2 days. Paris’s brother Kanye started studying Physics at Britechester. He lived in dorms for the first semester and developed a relationship with classmate Julia Wright.
Kanye then moved out to a house in Willow Creek with a roommate who was none other than Bob Pancakes. They got on fairly well. Bob did all the cooking and Kanye did all the handiness. Bob then got into a relationship with Angela Pleasant. At the end of Kanye’s second semester at Uni Angela got pregnant so Bob moved to be with her while her sister Lilith took Bob’s place as Kanye’s roommate.
Kanye just got engaged to Julia between his second and third semester of Uni.
I nipped back into the other houses before I saved today. Eliza and Srikumar did in fact have a baby together once she finished Uni. A little girl called Tiffany who big brother Jordan is smitten with.
Paris, Mitchell and toddler Caroline are just doing away working and raising their daughter.

Amelie was assigend to redecorate Kris Jenner's office. Yes, I have the Kardashians original house with the family as npc in my game I don't play as. The literally bulldose Oasis Springs park for their home, can you believe?!!
I'm not a fan but I think it's funny to have over the top characters running around your neighborhood/game for added drama. Dream Home decorator kept giving me the choice to insult taste in decor but Amelia refrained.
At the end, Kris didn't like it and didnt pay. Well, I went straight to manage household and invoiced and got Amelie's payment, the amount I think it should have paid, $20,000.
@LeucosiaX I love the photo idea, thanks for the suggestion. That's probably what I'll end up doing once Shea becomes an adult and her parents pass on. 🥲

I realise I haven't updated since Sharon's Café re-opened after the fire and that was in Spring 2005 and now i'm in Winter 2005!
We head on in to the first half of Summer 2005 with my sim self's second born grandson Ryo and his wife Callia:
Here is Ryo's uncle Harry meeting Ryo's son Daniel:

And before you know it, the infants are aging up!
Next, we visit my sim self. We haven't seen him since 2003 after the untimely death of his third wife Emily.
My sim self, meets Alex Moyer. She works at the same radio station he works at. I thought they may be a good couple:
My sim self invites Alex round for a meal. It was a bit of an awkward meeting but he is sure they can be more than friends.
My sim self's son Jacob comes round for a visit. The lease on his apartment in San Myshuno is coming to an end and he wants to move back home. My sim self has been pleased with how Jacob is doing living independently and doesn't agree that he should move back to the family home after living on his own for two years. My sim sim self suggests talking to his grandson Brian who is looking for a roommate.
At Brian's house, Brian is pleased to see Jacob. Jacob explains to Brian that the lease on his apartment in San MyShuno is coming to an end and he is looking for somewhere new to live. Brian tells Jacob that he is more than welcome to move in with him however he is expecting someone else as well as he had also advertised a for room mate. Jacob asks Brian if he can have the room with the deck. Jacob goes back to his apartment to grab his belongings.
While Jacob is out, Brian's other housemate Victoria turns up. Victoria turns up with her belongings, Brian greets Victoria and he helps her in. She begins to take some of her stuff to her room and to her horror when she finds some of Jacob's belongings already there. She is furious with Brian when she learns that somebody has taken the room she agreed to sleep in. Brian offers her the neighbouring room but she wanted the room with the deck and the neighbouring room is a bit too small.
When Jacob returns Brian introduces him to Victoria, they get on at first but things go a little south when Victoria finds out that Jacob has taken her room and Victoria takes a dislike to Jacob. After the dust has settled, Victoria apologises for having a go at Jacob and they all enjoy a fried meal Brian has cooked for them on their first night on the BBQ.
Now that Victoria and Jacob have resolved their differences, The three housemates spend their first night together playing videogames and getting to know each other:

A few days later my sim self decides to pay a visit to see Jacob to see how he's settled in. My sim self gets a surprise when he notices Victoria living with his grandson and son. Victoria went to the same high school as my sim self when they were teens so it was a nice surprise for him to see her again. They enjoy getting reacquainted with each other:

I was playing earlier when my game crashed. No idea why. It hasn’t crashed since February so it’s not a constant issue. I wasn’t playing one of my main families, just a casual save I like to go to if I’m feeling a little uninspired or just fancy a quick break from a ‘main save’.
Hopefully it’s just a one off. I didn’t lose a huge amount of progress, but it’s probably time to use MCCC to enable auto-save!
