For skeletons maybe they could get a different set of wishes and aspirations than living sims, more in tune with their state, which is only slightly more than ghosts. Maybe they could steal a real baby if they want one or make a ragdoll look alike.
Fairies are known for stealing babies. Skeletons, not so much.
But let's not get hung up on technicalities. We need proper skeleton babies, period.
But I think I could envision some skeleton parents "building a better baby" from their own bones. Then the DNA and "genetics" would be present. Though, they'd still need milk to strengthen and grow those bones, but therein lies the problem.
Precicely like that. "build a baby."
Obtaining milk shoudn't be a problem. For example, skeleton parents should be able to concoct bonebroth for bony babies- a brew consisting of mother's bonedust mixed with crushed deathflower root and a splash of water. Skellinfants should be able to learn to play bone xylophone with their little toetoes, and kids should have an option to play cup and skull with each other's heads. Instead of skill building they do skull building.
I would say no only because I got some mods that I've been using that can do the situation in terms for romance. Plus the traits are really not that different to the ones we already have. I'm not digging with the world and the bonus items would be a pass as well. If they would've have a heart shape hot tub & vibrating heart shape bed then I would say that I would buy it on sale. Definitely not worth the full $40 which I want to keep the streak of buying packs when only on sale. Also I don't believe there would be any new jobs added to which this should've been more of a game pack instead.
I hardly focus on romance in my game, so I'm not very interested in the chemistry or new kisses etc. I'm interested in the new world, but I have plenty to do in my current game, so I'll be in no hurry. I'll get it on sale, or I might get it at full price on a rainy day if I feel like I deserve a new EP No specific plan at this point.
I will get it, and considering it comes out in July and you have till September to get the bonus items, I may even get those, but I want to wait until after the live stream and release, to see how buggy it is before deciding when to purchase it.
I do like the bonus bed. I haven't purchased a full price pack since Growing Together. I also skipped For Rent until it gets fixed, so I'm itching for a new world. If the pack feels safe from game breaking bugs, I'm 90% sure I'll buy at full price.
Last EP is broken...This one should work smooth and blend in with all the DLC that's available.
And the Titanic will sail into Boston Harbor next week under its own power. EA's track record has been lousy since MWS.
MWS works for me now but I did have problems with it at launch, they were not game breaking though. I've had no problems with HSY, Growing Together is one of my favorite packs. I've enjoyed/had no issues with Horse Ranch. For Rent broke my game, I had to start over and I'm afraid to use the rental system now which is the main feature of the game. Thus my initial comment, I'm buying this new pack but if it breaks my game I will stop being someone who purchases on release.
I'm not sure yet. The theme isn't really for me. The trailer looked better than expected but I am not convinced I will get enough use out of it to pay full price. Unless the livestream shows something really new, I will wait for a sale. I felt similar about my wedding stories. I bought that one on full price and regret not waiting for a sale. I got it for the world and the world is gorgeous. But MWS didn't add enough gameplay for my interests.
I caved and preordered it. 😭 I haven't preordered a pack since Sims 4 released. I dunno. It just looks so good. 😭 I've been waiting for turn-ons and turn-offs since Sims 2. 😭 And plannable dates you guys. 😭
Allons-y!

I haven't read much about this pack aside from what's in the trailer. Kinda busy playing Palworld and Disney's DV. However, I do play with many households, always having my sims date and eventually marry. So I'm sure I'll utilize whatever comes in this EP.

Probably? Maybe? I haven't decided yet. It does pique my interest quite a bit but only if it's done right. Not until a few months have passed and it goes on sale though.
Have a super fantastic awesome splendid amazing day! -TheQxxn
It fits well with my playstyle, so yes. To be fair, I like a lot of other features and themes in the game but yes, this one is for me. I've been wanting an expansion for romance for a while and I did think that what we had in the game was very simplistic. I'm looking forward to it. I will be interested to revisit some of my households with that pack. I had even been wanting relationship counseling to be added so that's great.
I'm definitely in the "wait and see" camp. I am sure I will buy it eventually, but I certainly won't be preordering. My tentative plan is to watch the gameplay trailer to get a better sense of whether I will want to buy it with the bonus items, and then wait until it actually comes out to see how buggy it is and how quickly any bugs are resolved. I do actually like the bonus items, so I'd like to have them, but I could live without them, too.
This looks quite good, actually; of course it all depends on the bugs. I chose yes with the free stuff, but after reading all the people who are cautious, I re-thinking. It has all the stuff that wouldn't make Sims 4's romance department look so watered down. But with all the weird dancing in all kinds of costumes, [ giggles] , part of me wonders if they haven't gone a might too far.
Very much into the turn ons and offs, so glad that is making a comeback. Just don't mess it up devs, lol.
In my house, dog hair sticks to everything but the dog.
Once Sims4 is retired (which should have happened a while ago) I will consider purchasing this pack. Or any other pack released after 2023's Growing Together. I dislike the idea of purchasing something when I end up disabling it after a few days of trying to play without glitches and bugs interrupting my game.
I’m undecided at the moment. I’ve only just caught up on the trailer and all the news about the pack. I definitely plan to get it at some point, but I want to find out more as so far the content still feels pretty light to me. I like the dating app and the singles lot trait — those will be useful in my game. More romantic interactions are great. And so is another city world, though from the screenshots I’m concerned that it will feel empty and not bustling and noisy like a city should be. I’m looking forward to the gameplay trailer and especially the livestream.
Yes and I do so want the bonus bed and heart plushies!
I just very much hope it wont be a buggy mess...again...it's sad that that is a valid concern with any pack providing new gameplay/features...
But I remain hopeful and looking forward to have my heartbreaker mermaid break hearts even more often
I'll wait for bug fixes and a discount sale like I always do with Sims EPs. I'm excited for this one, but lately all the packs release with so many bugs, so I'd rather wait for a discount after bugs have been fixed. There's no point buying anything on release date anymore, 'cuz it never works on Day 1.
I used to say I'd at least buy occult/fantasy related packs on release day, but with how buggy everything is nowadays, I wouldn't even be tempted to buy those at full price. Always wait.
But I love the Mexican world, and I like the added romance content! My current legacy heir is a serial romantic, so I'll be putting my legacy on hold until I am able to get this pack, and playing a side save for now. This is definitely my #1 next pack to get on my list, though!

okay we need this in the game

That and if there's enough gameplay and items to warrant it a EP than a gamepack so it's not another repeat of horse ranch.
