I think childhood crushes would be a cute addition to this pack. This pack is about love between adults but a childhood crush between children would be a nice extra. a separate feature completely independent from the main feature but it would still fit the theme of love in general. Childhood crushes is all about children exploring what being in love is all about in their own way by role-playing and kisses on the cheek. I never had a childhood crush myself but my kids do. It's fun to see. It's always so sad when a sims pack completely ignores other lifestages.
Has anyone noticed teens are not shown in the trailer. Do teens get anything out of this pack. Are new romantic interaction between two teens mentioned anywhere?

They did say that teens and older can learn the romantic skill, but there will probably not be as many options as for young adults and older sims.

WHAT? You saying that Agnes C. can not use the picnic blacket woohoo feature??? Or wear the cupid costume?

I dunno, maybe Iβm just not very liberal in my thinking. I suppose itβs the way they advertise the pack. I donβt think it was a particularly good trailer, but when I watched it, there was nothing in me that said βheyo wait a second, where are the kids in all this?!β
Twas more like: letβs cover their wee little eyes. π΅π»
Parenthood or Growing Together would have been the perfect packs to add innocent childhood crushes. Itβs never too late.
In my view thereβs nothing βinnocentβ about Lovestruck as such, it offers ways for our adult sims to go actively looking for βloveβ- to scan the room for potential lovers / woohoo partners, to be a sultry sim, to find interesting woohoo spots or suffer lethal heartbreaks.
My Wedding Stories would have been better for childhood crushes. At least they could pretend to get married.
I sort of get what youβre saying, but this particular pack just doesnβt seem sim kidβs friendly in my ancient fashioned opinion. Weβll just have to wait and see what else they have to offer. It may very well be childhood crushes. I just canβt see it at the moment.

Hmmmβ¦perhaps not but sheβd be quite useful to sims that have a handbag fetish.

Not sure Agnes C. would want to use the picnic blanket that way. As for the cupid costume, I think they are just clothes and don't influence the sims in any way, I mean no more than a regular pair of shorts and a crop top would anyway.
Lovestruck's trailer was naughty, but the whole pack is more well-rounded. We even have a Wholesome relationship dynamic. Naughty stuff is at the forefront for advertising purposes, but the pack is about exploring the romantic relationships between sims, how they interact, and how to keep a relationship going strong. Just like how Growing Together (an overall "wholesome" pack) had a midlife crisis that made sims want to cheat on their spouse and WooHoo with multiple people, I think this pack can afford to have a small moment of harmless, age-appropriate fun. I don't think giving kids a small, barebones feature will detract much from the pack or go off-theme
Of course, I'm not even that eager for kids to have crushes. It'd be fun to play with, but that's not one of tbe main feature I'm waiting for. I just don't see why it has to be treated as something harmful or inappropriate. And it's not like all EPs don't throw in something for all age groups.

Um no ,yes they have a wholesome relationship dymanic. This pack is still adult not have anything for kids sims is common sense. This pack is still more gear towards adults.
It would not look right to have children interactions with a pack that also has woo hoo games.
Please keep in mind that this is still just a silly game with silly humor. Pixel sims dancing a silly dance is not exactly a "turn-on" in my book", just plain fun. Silly fun, even, not even very "nasty". It's not like we are getting a πΈπΈπΈπΈ game here, I don't even see how this pack can deserve the "nasty" label, that I've seen used by simmers. Is it because of those silly costumes? I would never want to dress up like an eggplant before woohooing. But I hope (some of) those costumes will not be restricted to the bedroom, they could be more useful in other ways, like setting up a stage play, or hosting a costume party (okay, for grown ups). I'm pretty sure the pack will be quite general aside of what we got to see in the trailer. Except those costumes and the dating app (which of course kids can not access), I can't really recall much that should be Adult rated. Nothing bold happened in that trailer. Making out in a closet is old. Watching stars is old and innocent. We already got a new bar with most EPs. Woohoo is nothing different just because the bed is heart shaped. I think most of the "nasty" only exists within our heads, not necessarily in the game.
Majority of packs come with a core focus, while 75% of the content can easily be (re-)used in other settings or not related to main focus at all. Which is a great thing to most of us, as we get more options in our little digital sandbox. Even if this pack is geared towards dating, I do hope there might be a couple new outfits for kids. Maybe a hairdo for elders, too. That anyone can use the new walls and furniture, even if they have a regular family already. There might even be a few new features not restricted to the datings. So why not a few things for kids? EPs usually offer a wide range of stuff, even when there is a theme. This is not a stuff pack, where a narrow focus would make more sense. EPs should offer a bit for all sim ages and all kinds of simmers, methinks, otherwise the general simmer might stop buying EPs.
It's normally the other way around, that simmers complain that kids were ignored *again*.
Btw, isn't the dating app related to Social Bunny app sort of? I'm sure plenty of simmers used SB app to find partners and love interests, even if the feature is not strictly meant for that. Woohoo was introduced with the base game, but we actually got plenty of stuff for kids there, too. I just don't see why kids should be totally ignored in a pack even if dating is the selling point, and I don't think they will be. EA want to sell this pack, especially the bigger and more financially inbringing packs, also to simmers who are not focusng a lot on romance and dating. Addng a few extras might help them selling to simmers like myself. I'm not wanting a "nasty" pack, but if Ciudad Enamorada is great, it will surely be enough to get me hooked. I hope nobody will get offended if I move a regular family, who is not into dating, to the new city - hopefully the EP won't stop me doing just that because kids should not bve allowed in a city where sims go for dating

This pack is rated T and part of a game whose primary demographic is tweens and teenagers. Nothing in this pack will be that scandalous.
My Wedding Stories also had options for kids to participate in weddings, despite not being able to get married themselves. I don't see how kids having crushes on other kids is somehow wrong or goes against the pack theme. It could an aspect of the pack's theme that doesn't need major focus, and it certainly doesn't need to intersect with the rest of the pack's romantic elements.

There was nothing adult in my wedding storise though?Evan Bach partise had no entertainers and were just regular partise. What makes this part adult is the focos on physical play.
The games
The dance in the trailer
That costume chest is verry adult.
So putting kid interactions evan for innocent crushes would not be appropiate.
My point about My Wedding Stories is that the pack was aimed at older sims, but still had ways to give appropriate content to younger sims in a way that stayed on theme and felt natural. Here, the kids aren't participating in the adult-oriented gameplay. They'd have their own separate thing that fits the pack theme.
Besides, the basegame has teens messing around and adults WooHooing. Lovestruck's sauciness or not, there's already child-unfriendly game elements that co-exist with other things. It's life, it's natural, it's harmless.

As for teens they would have to asked for permission to probably buy this packs. This pack was definitely not geared for teerns, but adults
It's rated T for teens and none of the depictions are explicit. There's a bear rug and a blanket but not much different from the bed woohoo animations. And the sexy dance looked more like a dance off than a sexy routine. And teens have the eggplant and peach emoji on their phones, no one restricts those for them because people who like to talk in euphemisms will find a way regardless. That being said, I hope they will add a sexy sims wall calendar for our sims.

While I would be pleasantly surprised if the content were mature enough to warrant real-life teens seeking permission to play it, I suspect the interactions will remain quite tame. Even if theyβve advertised it as suggestive, itβs essential to recognize that some promotional images may not actually appear in the game.
I hope the dating app does not push a majority of generic pack townies at you.
I want to interact with the sims I put in the world, not base game and the latest pack generated sims.
This is a small annoyance, and one that maybe few other people share, but I am sure that they will neglect harvestables again (both adding new ones and adding existing ones to the new world). Mangoes would have been perfect for the world in For Rent, and they'd be a great fit here, too, but I am sadly skeptical that we'll get them.

Heh, I am still waiting that orange tree Been long wait
My love, my love, my fearless love, I will not say goodbye..
Sea may rise, sky may fall, My love will never die..
My heart, my heart, My drowning heart, Oh all the tears I've cried
Oh I may weep forevermore, My love will never die..
Considering the 'naughty' nature of the pack, I wish that we had a pole-dancing activity come with it.
That would honestly even be cool for hobbies xD i've tried a class before as a safe space. it's not always about *naughty* stuff. It can feel empowering to learn to dance and gain strength etc and feel confident in yourself haha!
Lots of people learn pole dancing strictly for fitness not because they want to dance in bars. If it weren't for the heels and some suggestive bending, for most part is not much different from acrobatics or trapeze artists.
Yes exactly! That is why I took that course in the first place. It was advertised as a safe space to let go and feel more confident. I mentioned already that people take courses for it to gain strength. It did feel awkward at first, but it was a fun experience to let go without feeling judged or unsafe. Would be cool for sims to get something like that in the game!
