I don't know yet, I will need to see some of the gameplay aspects in action and will wait and see how buggy it is first. Once bitten, twice shy and all that.
It depends on how the different romance related systems and features work. If they are fully optional and customizable, I'm probably in. If they are forced on us all the time (with no settings or off toggles) or if we can't choose for ourselves how our sims behave or feel about romance, I will either not buy it or I'll be waiting for mods that let me customize or turn off aspects that I don't want. My main concern with this pack is that the various new romance systems will ruin existing relationships and stories that I care about. But if they have given us full control, a lot of these systems could be very useful tools and fun to play with.
So I am very much in the "I will wait and see" category right now.
I'm planning to buy this one as soon as I've seen a few playthroughs. However I also planned to buy For Rent right away, and still haven't. So it really depends on how buggy it is.
I can’t exactly describe myself as a “romance” player, although I often end up creating many potential partners in CAS for the sole purpose of expanding my sims’ dating pools. That said, I get a tad bored when it comes to romantic gameplay in TS4. I believe a well functioning, meaningful romance / attraction system is one of the most essential components in a life sim, but sadly romance and everything that goes with it doesn’t really go deep enough yet in the Sims 4. I would like a gameplay system in place to spice up the lurv situation and to encourage me to play that part differently for a change.
I’m also an utterly boring romance player: boy meets girl, dinner date, takes her home, girl accidentally gets pregnant, they get married (or not) and then I get so bored, I’d need to switch households immediately and head back into the jungle with John Simbo ( my Rambo sim) in order to find and ask an Omniscan skeleton for advice about my next move. And to be cursed, please, I need drama. GIVE ME A DARN SPIDERBITE!
So, to answer the question: IF Lovestruck can offer me what I need in the drama department and the pack gets released without game breaking bugs, I will buy it for sure, one hundred percent, 💯 and possibly in time for the bonus content.
No, not only does this pack not interest me in the slightest, I am currently not purchasing any packs due to the situation with the glowing cart button in game and the lack of respect for people with certain disabilities. I don't tend to reward companies for ableism.

I had one of my Sims marry the Grim Reaper & now they have a lot of kids.

Maybe John Simbo needs skeleton lover to spice things up? maybe they could do that jungle thing together?
I too often get stuck in my cliches tbh
although for me its always fateful meeting and toxic relationship and they always have like zillion kids in first week of the relationship
I also have to keep reminding myself my sims could leave the house sometimes instead of just sitting in their house doing skills or whatever family stuff
I couldn't really answer this because, while so far I really do want this pack and its swingin' singles naughtiness, plus new ways for Sims to hook up and reject each other... I also watched what happened with the For Rent apocalypse (and it wasn't at all the kind of apocalypse I've been longing for) and never bought that pack, despite wanting customizable apartments for years. So I'm a little apprehensive about just throwing the latest big thing full of moving parts and new code into my game for fear of my years-long save being nuked forever.
So to sum up, Imma wait and see how the pack runs on other people's games before I make a final decision. I want to know that EA is correcting their course with haphazard, buggy content. There is no excuse for their lack of quality. None.
Probably not, at least in the next year or so. I currently have a ton of ideas about stuff I want to try with what is in my game already but almost no time to play, so for the moment I don't feel any need for more content (quite the opposite, actually). I could make an exception for good occults' content, though.

I'm sold on it. Several of the things it'll bring to the game are things that I've wanted for a very long time now without having to go hunt down a gameplay mod to flesh out romantic relationships, that might conflict with mods that I find more necessary, bloat my game with mods and break everything. I'm usually pretty careful about this and already have a small handful of gameplay mods and have to deal with them every time the game gets a substantial update.
I'm excited enough for the turn ons/offs and those relationship types (wholesome, steamy, etc.) and leveling the new skill. I'd eventually get it anyway for the dating app and singles meet-up locations (which I already use that one club in Windenburg for), and the career, but the turn ons and relationship types were pretty much buy-immediately for me. And there likely will be bugs. I'm expecting the bugs to be in the things that require travel and interaction with multiple sims (the dates, etc.) or especially with the app pulling sims out of the gallery for those dates, though they could pop up anywhere. I think I can deal with the bugs for the things I really want though.
I'd say I'll come back to this after the gameplay trailer, but odds are we'll be in forum limbo at the time.
The bonus items don't jump out at me, and I didn't see enough of the build/world to fall in love with that (though what I did see, I generally liked - except for the Kitchy stuff.) The systems aren't my cup of tea so... yeah, I'm not sure where I fall between "getting it with bonus" and "waiting for sale" I will get it ... I'm just not sure how soon.

This! Along with fixing existing EP's like For Rent..
Typically, I would have said yes. Every pack that interested me was purchased the week it released—unfortunately, For Rent changed my purchasing behavior and timing. Thank goodness I was able to return For Rent and get a refund; yet, I have not purchased anything since.
Lovestruck is something that definitely interest me because having more romance gameplay is always appreciated. Yet, I’ll wait to see the level of bugs that are experienced and/or wait for it to go on sale.
If the Sims team is not interested in improving quality control with actual results, then I’m not interested in investing any more money in this game.
Depends on whether or not the dev team is going to honour its promises of fixing the game and its already existing broken DLC's. I'm not going to continue throwing good money over bad..... ending up with a game that continues to get worse (instead of better) as each new DLC gets added.
I'll start opening my wallet again when:
a) The dev team proves their product(s) are worthy (aka - not broken).
and
b) EA ditches its fantasies of forcing-feeding sleezy sales tactics onto an already existing customer base that has paid well over $1000+ for this game thus far.

The latest expansion packs have felt very lackluster, I have not seen any reason to keep playing them for more than a couple of hours.
It doesn't feel like I'm the target audience either anymore.

I have over two dozen single sims who can use it though.
This doesn't include the many Uni dormies that I have added to my worlds.
That is a lot of match-making.
