Well y'all it is that time again! More of me jumping around Hidden Springs and giving everyone - and their homes - some much needed makeovers and fixes. 👍🏻

Anyhoo, before I sent her into CAS I couldn't help taking a look around her home first.
Umm...I was rather confused by her home decor. Particularly the kitchen. 😕 I mean, if she's the queen of fashion, why does her kitchen look like it belongs to a famous male race car driver...
It's hideous to me...
Or was she going for the Queen of Hearts look from Alice in Wonderland?? 🤷🏻♀️ Who knows.
And it really confuses me because her bedroom is decorated like this:
Complete OPPOSITE decor of what she has going on in the kitchen! Wow. 😮 Perhaps it's all part of her Insane trait??
(Oh and I totally slapped some blinds onto those giant windows to give her some much needed privacy and forgot to take a picture.)
I didn't have the energy or motivation to fix the kitchen - if she were a favorite sim that would be one thing - so I just moved on and took her into CAS.
After promptly giving her a new skin, I took off her sunglasses so I could properly see her whole face.
And I think I can guess why she wears sunglasses all the time...
...her eyes are huge like so many others in this world. (I thought that was just a Bridgeport sim thing. 🤔 But now I'm starting to think otherwise.)
I was unable to shrink her eyes, strangely enough, so I just tweaked them a tiny bit and added some cc eyes and better makeup. 👍🏻 Voila! New Anna:
I checked all her clothing and it was fine. I really didn't spend much time with her at all as she's just not my cup of tea. I did what was necessary and moved on. Lol! 😜
I was excited to check on the Shue Family as it had been a while and remembered making some adjustments to the two teenagers in the house during Sam's story run. (I forgot the reason, I think I just wanted to create some more variety in town. Y'all will see what I mean.)
Now when you first play the Shue family, all the kids are at the Child stage. I had previously aged up the two older children, Star and Danny, to Teens in Sam's story and gave them makeovers. (I didn't touch Granny, Gary, or Carlotta for some reason. 😆 ) So here they all are, in their tiny humble abode, at that current time in my game.
First I picked on Star.
I LOVE what I did with her hair back then! 😃 (Even though my daughter walked by and was like, "What is up with her hair!?" 🤣 To which I replied, "She's a teenager going through a phase..." with a jokingly pointed look and let's just say my daughter was unamused. 😏 Lol!)
And I love her kitty outfit too. 😸
Anyway, Star originally has green skin and since Sam basically cured everyone in town from the green skin side effect - due to stopping the evil holistic healing woman, Emmaline Rhoen - I've been fixing all the green skinned folks in town. (Still working on that actually...) And I think I gave Star those striking colors in her hair because they resemble some of those galaxy colors, you know, with her name being Star and all. )
After I slapped some new skin and custom eyes on her...
I'm adding profile shots now for y'all too. 👍🏻
...I thought it might be a little fun to add a nose stud. Like I told my daughter, she's going through a phase. 😜

And speaking of, I have a galaxy print pattern that I decided to add to her swimsuit. 😊
Next I moved on to Danny...
I added some blue highlights into his hair previously and naturally he is reminding me of my Sebastian Sim - from Stardew Valley - as they share the same style hair. 😛
^He's got "permasmile" too, but it made him look so adorable that I decided to leave it alone. 🙃)

I HAD to pick on Granny next because...
...she's GREEN! 😫
And goodness gracious bless her heart for doting an outfit like that! 😬😆
And I discovered that the green skin comes with green highlights in the sim's hair...Yuck!
But yeah, since Sam cured everyone from that issue, Granny is looking normal now. (And of course moreso with new skin, eyes, and hairstyle! ⭐) However I kept the ugly green highlights in her hair because I felt like I already took too much of her originality away by changing her skin color and hair. It matches the color of her eyes. 🙃
Her ears are huge...but like I said before I really don't like to tweak townies genetics unless it is absolutely necessary. These ears aren't to me.
They suit the way her face looks in the front imo, as you could see in the previous picture. Anyway!
I had no clue what to dress her in for a new Everyday, so I just left her in that terrible outfit EA gave her! 🤣
Next I moved on to Gary...
He's a little cutie. 😊 Let's get a close up:
First thing I thought was, "Another one with large eyes!" 😬 However when I checked the sliders they were normal. I just forgot that Child sim's eyes naturally look a little large so that's when I started laughing. 😄 (I haven't created and played with a Child sim in a hot minute so...)
Now y'all, what I'm about to say about these next two child makeovers is in no way, shape, or form meant to sound offensive. Quite the opposite actually. 💜 Because I feel like EA was going for some "representation" when creating this family and I wanted to make that representation better and more accurate. 👍🏻 So here we go!
It's pretty obvious that Gary is a Black/African American child. So in that regard, I just couldn't keep the name Gary for him. It's too white! 😆🤷🏻♀️😛 (Y'all who know me, I like to keep it real in my game. 👍🏻)
So I changed his name to Desmond. I'm terrible at coming up with names and that one just came to me so I rolled with it.

And I gave him a new Everyday look:
He's a little genius that's going to end up changing the world for sure. ⭐
I actually really liked his Athletic outfit that EA gave him. 👍🏻 For once they did a good job.
Alright so moving on to Carlotta... Not a fan of that name, btw 😕
Ok, so I'm pretty sure EA was going for an Asian look with Carlotta, but to see if I was right...I aged her up to YA to properly see how her genetics looked and y'all trust me...they were not pretty. So much so, I couldn't even take a picture. 😐
Her eyes were WAY too far apart, her nose was off, as well as her chin and...this was another one of those moments where I had to break my "no changing the genetics" rule to save this poor child!!! 😫
So no worries Carlotta, the Goddess of the Sim world will take care of you. 🥰

I was playing around with different hairstyles on her and forgot about this new one I found just a few months ago and thought it looked cute on her. So I decided to keep it. 👍🏻
And because Carlotta is clearly not an Asian name (that I'm aware of... 😶) and I hate it 😆 I changed her name to Miya. It's so much prettier.

It hasn't always been easy for Granny to raise 4 children pretty much all at once, but she made sure to teach them how to help her around the house.
At bedtime I caught Desmond checking under his bed for monsters. (Their home is a tiny, two bedroom house so all the kids sleep in one room! I can't even imagine... 😬 especially with teenagers who need/want their privacy! I'll admit the thought had crossed my mind to move them into a bigger home, but I didn't feel like dealing with that at the moment.)
When I zoomed in to see if I could catch the monster eyes, I jumped in my seat when its arm popped out! 😳
Desmond was so freaked out that he went and crawled into bed with Granny. 💗 Can't say I blame him!
Danny didn't feel tired yet, so he texted Evelyn for a bit. 😊
Then he decided to be daring and stay out after curfew! (Actually the Goddess put the idea into his head. 😏 Hey, I have my reasons and they shall not be questioned! 🤣)
But no, I wanted to test and see if the cops would find him at the Redwood Peak Viewing Area because sims gotta hike one heck of a LONG trail to get up there...so I was wondering if they would even notice him being out.
Before 10pm though, he enjoyed doing some stargazing.
It was a breathtaking view overlooking the countryside, even at night. 💜
There was another teen sim that joined him up there, Emmit Preston - I'll highlight him and his family later - and Cami Kat. 😄 They all played foosball and darts together.
I was about to get a picture of that when I got the pop up of a Cop saying, "You're out past curfew young man, come with me!" And then I was like, Well darn..... 😔
And get this: The cop didn't come to Danny, the game made Danny run ALL the way down the trail to get into the cop car at the base of it. I was like, "Really???" I guess I had forgotten how the game works and that there's really no possible way for a teen to elude the cops while being out past curfew. I thought for sure with Danny being all the way up there he would have, but nope. 🙄 Silly game...
Figured I might as well take a dumb picture of him riding in the cop car towards home and it turned out to be a bad shot...
Needless to say Granny was furious with Danny when he got home. "This isn't like you to stay out past curfew! What's going on with you?" Goddess of the Sim world: I'm so sorry Danny... 😢
Danny apologized greatly and asked what he could do to make it up to her.
^As you can see from Granny's thought bubble the two lost their friendship over that event. This Goddess is not perfect, unfortunately, 😜 and had I known that would happen, I would've tested that whole curfew thing out another teen sim. So I quickly took care of that - thanks cheats! - and made them friends again. ⭐ )
Granny: "How about you start doing more of the chores around here like taking out the trash, cleaning the bathroom, and raking the leaves. Then we'll see if you make it back on my good side." (I would never personally say it in that way to my child, but y'all know how the game is so I worded it like that. 😜)
After Danny went to bed - it was around 3 am - Granny couldn't go back to sleep so she grabbed a cup of coffee and sat down at the table and sipped on it. Granny: "This is going to be a loooong day..."
Danny didn't actually have to do much at all to get back on Granny's good side. He took out the trash and did the dishes and that was it! ⭐ I was happy. 😊
Later that morning, the kids went off to school and Granny decided to visit the Graveyard. I pretended she was so that she could visit friends and loved ones who are buried there.
I love how the game accurately portrays the way an old person drives! Tight grip on the steering wheel while leaning forward, eyes straining to see the road... 😂
After visiting some graves, she decided to tour the catacombs and walked out feeling freaked out. Lol! That's when I got this pop-up saying that she needed to go to work and I was like, "Huh? Oh I guess that makes sense. She's gotta support those 4 kids somehow!" However her job was at the lowest level of the Cooking career and then my face went like: 😐 So I cheated and had her retire at a pretty good pay rate...
She was thrilled of course!
I might have Star and Danny take up some part-time jobs as well to help support. 👍🏻
When Granny got home she checked the mail.
And once again the game was making Sam act ridiculously... 🙄
GRANNY, SAM!? Really!?!? 🤦🏻♀️

Anyway, Scott Chesterfield came home with Star that day:
Star: "Whaaat!? You don't like the movies!?"
Scott: "It's not so much that I don't like movies, I just don't like Actors. They think they are so much better than everyone! And most don't even deserve to have their name on the Hollywood Walk of Fame because they didn't truly earn it..."
Scott: Only musicians, like myself, truly earn our way to stardom. Not simply through famous family or friend ties! Star: *thinking* Okaaaaaay...
They really weren't hitting it off. 😐😆
She got so bored with him that once he found the TV she went outside and her eyes caught hold upon a large bird in the distance. Quickly and carefully, she approached it.
She really had a way with the hawk because it bonded with her instantly and jumped right onto her arm. Without biting her!

One of the "Toyota Family" children came home with Desmond after school as well. (I will also highlight them later.) The two seemed to enjoy each other's company much more than Star and Scott were...

Star also found a King snake not long after she found the hawk. Here's Danny playing with it. 😊

In closing I'd like to throw out something random.
I'm still discovering all that comes with the Showtime EP and I had no clue performing Sims could do the Moonwalk. I loved watching that! 😄
I didn't love watching the sim himself though... he's kinda ugly. LOL! 😂 I'm terrible sometimes...

If anyone in here has watched Top Gun (the original movie) - there's a FB group that follows the movie very closely and well, a number of actual naval aviators as well as the ones who did the flying in the movie are a part of that group.
Most movie watchers have seen Perry...the guy that Maverick refers to as "that older guy"
Well, he was actually THIS guy.
Rear Admiral Kenneth Pete "Viper" Pettigrew - the REAL Viper. The Naval technical advisor for the movie Top Gun whose role as Perry Siedenthal (Charlie's boss) was a cameo.
We lost him three days ago on the 24th of June of this year due to complications of throat cancer.
He was fond of Top Gun fans and would happily tell us stories about his naval career and his stint as a Top Gun instructor as well as regale us with his experiences with the F-4 Phantom and the F-14 Tomcat, both planes that he'd flown.
His fellow naval aviators in the group are gutted - and so are we...the ones who got to meet him (I didn't - couldn't travel down to the meetups), but he made sure that we were well aware of the fact that he appreciated every single one of us fans.
So...
Pete, rest easy... Rest in Peace, Clear Skies, Fair Winds and Following Seas on your journey West. Thank you for all the wonderful experiences you shared with us. Save us a seat at the table when we see you on the other side.

Well I was playing my game the last couple of days in Hidden Springs redoing one of the houses for my simself and her husband. Well I took a few minutes break and came back to my PC being turned off, so I tried it turn it on and it wasn't coming on. The light on the tower kept flickering and making clicking noises, the lights on the CPU was flashing red. So the hubby took it to Best Buy for them to look at and hopefully fix. The PC is only 2 years old, so I don't know what happened...😭😭
Holy geez, that doesn't sound good at all, @lisasc360. Maybe it was just a power supply problem - that the power supply burnt out (which is a problem when you have a system that is built on a power-supply that is just barely has enough power to run the stuff that's inside it - each thing draws energy and requires power to run it and you need surplus power if you want to run peripherals (exterior components) as well as the interior components. A lot of system manufacturers build that way to reduce cost of a system, but in the end you end up paying for it with a system that draws too much power from a power supply that isn't adequate enough to run it all.
The clicking sound from the tower concerns me - some say it's potentially a case cooling fan failure/CPU cooling fan failure or worst case scenario if you don't have an SSD drive, but a mechanical HDD, is that the read/write head is wearing out and kaboom - there goes your hard drive.
All I can say is that I hope it's not the power supply, or the hard drive. I don't want to scare anyone, but a power supply failure can cause a power spike that can damage a hard-drive.
Having to self-diagnose several computers running this Sims 3 has made me have to learn more about computers than I ever wanted to know. 🥴?
That's why my next system (when I have enough to do so) that I get will be built to specs that are meant to run the latest games...with plenty of room for "growth". The game manufacturers keep creating games that will push the system to its edge.

Oh dear, looks like Jugs has some major competition. VADM Maegyn "Irish" O'Bannon has just entered the fray.
I've been letting my sims do their own thing, dictating who they're attracted to...and well, Tosh is the "odd-man out"; no hearts when it comes to Jugs attraction towards him on her end...and well neither did Meg, so well...guess who enters the fray. Evidently there is no attraction when one sim is an adult and the other is a "young adult"...probably due to the difference in ages.
Tosh, on the other hand, is a taciturn, stern sort and well, nothing appears to faze him in the slightest. However, there is one person, whom he's served with that has always sparked his interest, a former squadron-mate by the name of Maegyn "Irish" O'Bannon. She is only two years younger than he is and they were tight as squadron-mates.

@Nikkei_Simmer, sorry that I hadn't replied back as I was waiting to see what Best Buy discovered on my PC. So it was the CPU and the motherboard. I think the motherboard was going bad last year when my lights on the front of the tower wasn't coming on, at least that's what the tech told my hubby when he mentioned the lights not coming on. Remember I have the Cyberpower Gaming PC that I got in December 2022 but the computer is a bit older than that as my hubby was told that you can't buy the boards that's in it now. So the hubby had to pay for new parts for it. He needed to get 212 Halo Black CPU cooler, Corsair Vengeance DDR5, AUS B650E Motherboard and an AMD RYZEN 7900X 76 Processor. So basically, they just need to rebuild my PC, so hopefully I will get that back sometime this week.
Ok, got my PC back today and they also put a wifi antenna on it as we have wifi Internet for our PC's and TV'S. So I can't wait to get it all hooked back up and get it turned on...😀

*This will be a bit picture heavy so I apologize to y'all who have slow internet.
So y'all know that I've been going into every household in Hidden Springs to give the Sims and their homes some much needed makeovers and updates right? And you know how there's always that one household in every world that you really don't care for and are always disgusted when you see them around town trying to converse with your favorite sims? (Or any sims for that matter? 😆)
Well that is the case with me - the Goddess of the Sim world - and Bert Alto. 😐
I don't like any of the Altos. Never have. And Bert is the worst of them, imo.
However, with that being said, I am a nice Goddess and I intend to uphold that belief in all my Sim's worlds. 😄👍🏻 So, as much as I despise Bert, I went ahead and threw him into CAS for a new skin when I saw him walking about Hidden Springs.
I don't even remember which skin I gave him, but here he is in all his glory:
I didn't even bother giving him custom eyes, I just want all the townies to have nice cc skins so that's all I changed on him and let him go. I won't be visiting his home anytime soon to see what it looks like because...I just don't care.
Anyhoo! Moving on to a better family.
So during Sam's story run I had combined the Ruiz and Shawkti families into one home because I had discovered - I don't remember how - that Carly and Pierce had become romantic interests and I thought it was super cute. 💗 (Seriously, when you look at their traits they are MADE for each other! The game did good. ) So I combined both their households into one home so that they could eventually become one happy, blended family. 😊
However, that was before I discovered that Pierce has commitment issues... 🙄 And yes, I could easily change that trait and make the blended family live happily ever after. (Because I'm the Goddess! 😇) But just to keep things interesting in the world, I kept it and had Pierce propose to Carly, but is dragging his feet when it comes to tying the knot. 😜 There's another issue with them finally marrying too, which I will reveal later. 😏
But for now, let's take a look at the new Ruiz-Shawkti Household beginning with the man of the house, Pierce Shawkti:

My my he is one handsome Sim. 😍 He brought along his daughter, Sidney, to the household and we'll see her in a bit.
Since he's in the Professional Sports Career, I thought I would give him a more sculpted torso... 😏

I decided to move on to Carly next and oh dear...it looks like (once AGAIN! 😣) that I had removed 2 more hairs from my game since Sam's story run that were on her and Sidney... *Sigh*

So into CAS Carly went:
I don't mind that stay-at-home/soccer mom hair at all, but it gets old to see after a while when you've removed cc hairs from your game! 😐
I ultimately settled on this hair for her, after new skin, eyes, and makeup of course. She's a pretty lady:

Obviously I had to pick on Sidney next. 🙃

Next I moved on to the oldest of the boys, who both belong to Carly. (Even though they aren't really hers...she just happened to be the nanny that got stuck with them after their parents disappeared! 😬 Yeah! Goddess here didn't make that up, EA did!)

I love the way he was posed outside of CAS when I had the game paused. He's a cutie! Even with a commanding presence.

Now y'all, when I started playing with the family I kid you not, almost every single appliance or electronic device these Sims touched, it broke. Like ONE RIGHT AFTER THE OTHER IT WAS INSANE!!! 😣 If I could have recorded it for proof, I would have. But needless to say it drove me nuts hearing that annoying "something broke" chime over and over again in a matter of a few passing sim minutes. I swear their house is cursed or something!
So I had them call for a repair man to take care of it all because no one in that house is handy - I checked. (Bless this guy's poor heart! 😆)
That dude shows up and I see that he's GREEN! 😮
Goddess: "Golly, even some of the NPC's are green in this world? SAM CURED EVERYONE OF THAT!!! How many times doth I need to say it!?" 😩🤣
Well, I knew what I needed to do...

Anyway, while the repairs were going on, Pierce and Sidney played a video game. She was kicking his butt. 😆 And with Pierce's competitive nature, he really couldn't stand that.
Not long after, Emmit came over to give Sidney a hug. 💗
And after witnessing that scene I have to say that the Goddess knows things... 😏 And I know that Emmit has been digging on Sidney since grade school...
Now they are an almost blended family...
That might complicate things a bit. 😬😏
Anyhoo, one of Carly's co-workers suggested she have a Bachelorette party before getting married. So for funzies I let it happen.
The sad thing is, Carly had like no friends in her Friendship panel. I felt so sad for her. 🙁 So when I went to invite all these "aquaintances" to her party, I didn't think that many of them would show up...
Turns out that a good many of them did...and then some! 😮
And by that I mean the Vanderburgs showed up! *Mind blown*
Carly sure was thrilled! 😀 I would've been too!

Up close and personal in CAS I discovered that she's very much a "pudding sim."
And y'all, I went all out giving her a makeover, complete with rainbow hair! 😁 I haven't used it on a sim in years and I thought it would be fun to now. Hee hee!
Renauld Vanderburg sure didn't care for this gal spraying him with Fizzy Nectar:
But when Carly did the same to him, he loved it. "Just what is going on here?" - The Goddess wondered with suspicion. 🤔

Carly had like ZERO friends! And yet somehow the Vanderburgs show up at her pathetic little Bachelorette Party (where the male stripper showed up, but disappeared upon entering the house - true story) and they automatically love her?? Goddess was getting that "Sus" feeling indeed! 😐
Catarina Vanderburg even led the TOAST to the lady of the party. (In the upstairs bedroom of all places... 🙄 Silly game!)
Carly was so stoked she couldn't believe it! This had to be a dream! I mean, it was certainly a dream come true! ⭐
She couldn't help asking the Vanderburg Queen for her autograph and just like any perfect dream, Catarina consented.
Carly then told her man all about it and sprayed him with nectar in celebration. 😆
He was all for it!
Then after that he showered and went straight to bed - dreaming about painting lol - while the party was still rattling the walls downstairs.
When the party ended, it was declared only a modest success which really didn't surprise me. But all the guests had fun. (It had been a success enough to bump Carly up to Celebrity status, 😮 but I removed that via MC because I don't want her to be a celeb!)
And the only thing I could figure as to why the Vanderburgs showed up is because a couple of those acquaintances that were invited were celebrities. (Like Emma Beckett) So when word got out that some celebrities were visiting a humble little house bachelorette party, the Vanderburgs just had to see what it was all about. 😜
That still doesn't explain why they instantly loved Carly though, but I guess she's just really likeable. 🤷🏻♀️
Anyway, check out how filthy the toilet got after the party! 🤮
Poor Emmit was tasked with that cleaning job - since his parents were dead to the world drunk that morning and he had to pee! 🤣
Meanwhile, Sidney started texting Danny Shue since she also had a little crush on him and...Emmit hadn't really made any advances towards her like she'd always been hoping. Probably because we're going to be a family soon, she thought with a disappointed sigh.
Emmit noticed Sidney conversing with Danny more and it started to bother him...
He went to his friend Scott Chesterfield's house after school the next day and asked him about it over doing homework together:
Emmit: "What should I do man? I've wanted to ask Sidney out for...forever! But now our parent's engagement is screwing all that up! And just when I'm old enough to actually date her. Ugh! What should I do!?" Scott: "I dunno dude, that's a tough one. It su'cks, but I gotta be honest with you, dating her will never be a good idea now. Even though you aren't blood related, you'll be related via marriage...and that will look bad to everyone in town. You'll both get a bad rap." Emmit: *Sighs* Scott: "You're just gonna have to let her go... It's for the best." Emmit: *thinking* He's right... Or maybe when we're adults we can leave this pathetic place together and live out our life deeply in love and no one will ever know...
But who am I kidding?
In his depressed state, Emmit went out to greet the mysterious alien that showed up on their lot around 3am, hoping to be whisked away from his terrible dilemna - not even caring if he would get probed. 😔
But after only a short conversation, the alien took off, not taking Emmit with him. The lovesick boy kicked at the air and went back inside to bed.
The next day was Spooky Day and Sidney suggested to Emmit that they go to the Fall Festival together, particularly to go through the Haunted House. Emmit couldn't resist, no matter how much his heart ached.
First they entered the Pie Eating Contest because they were both pretty hungry...
Emmit won!
Sidney went to throw up afterward and Emmit couldn't help giving her a hug in sympathy. 💘
Sidney: "Oh Emmit, you are just the sweetest guy! How many guys will hug a girl with a face full of pie filling and has vomit breath?" Emmit: *chuckles, then bravely says* "Guys like me I guess..." Sidney: "Yep. Guys like you..." *blushes*
Next they went through the Haunted House. It was scarier than it had ever been before, to the teen's surprise. They had never been so freaked out in all their lives! 😨
When Sidney exited the house as a ghostly figure, Emmit panicked! Thinking she had been killed by a ghoul or something...and that her spirit was leaving this world for good.
He refused to believe it! Nor was he going to allow it, without expressing something first! So he did something very impulsive...
Sidney: *shocked* "Emmit!? What're you..." Emmit: *gaping* "You're not dead!?" Sidney: "No, silly! Some creature in there put this little hex on me or something!" Emmit: "Oh...... Thank gosh!!" Sidney: "So...does this mean you...you have feelings for me too?" Emmit: "Too?" *looking hopeful* I-I mean, yes! I've always liked you Sidney..." Sidney: *grins* "I've always liked you too Emmit." Emmit: "And I just hate that our parents getting married is ruining everything--" Sidney: Just shut up Emmit and let's do that again! *pulls him in for a kiss this time*
"Wow" they both blissfully whispered afterward. 😏
Next they went bobbing for apples. Sidney won that time. 😊
When they returned home, Emmit didn't waste anymore time...
Emmit: "Sidney...will you be my girl? As in, just you and me?"
Sidney: "Yes Emmit! A million times yes!" *Jumps into his arms*
And they sealed the deal with a kiss. 💕
Sidney: *looking worried* "What will our parents think about this?" Emmit: *feeling unsure* "We'll just have to keep it a secret from them." Sidney: *gapes* "And how exactly are we going to do that? Parents always find out everything!" Emmit: "True. But let's see how long we can keep it a secret. It'll be fun!" Sidney: "...Yeah. It just might be." *blushes*
In the following days, Emmit and Sidney simply went about their lives, acting like typical teenagers do.
Both: "Gah! Homework su'cks!"
Emmit: *whispers* "Wanna make out later?" Sidney: "Shhhh!"
Then once at the table during lunch time with her dad...
Sidney: "Soup, dad? Really? Could you be anymore fit? You could eat a giant burger if you wanted to..." Pierce: "Mind over matter honey..."
Apparently one of the wall speakers didn't get fixed from the "everyone breaking everything" fiasco earlier... 🙄 So guess who came back?
And I forgot to mention that after that said fiasco, I used Debug Enabler and upgraded every freaking thing that could break in that house!!!
⭐👍🏻 Cause good grief that was NOT happening again!
I wanted to end this episode with a photo of the cute family sitting at the table together. 💗
Will Emmit and Sidney be able to keep their relationship a secret from their parents for long? And will Pierce finally set a date for the wedding? Perhaps that's exactly what the two teens are hoping for...that he won't. 😜
I guess y'all will just have to see what the Goddess has in store for this family, but for now, I have to move on to another family in town. Sorry!

Aubrey was aging up to adult soon and decided she should put herself out there again. She met up with Niki in the picture and Niki brought her roommate Julia, who is just off screen holding a pool cue
She got on great with Niki but when she went over to Niki's house and got to know Julia better she immediately rolled a want to kiss her, so that's who she's with now and Niki is now one of aub's closest friends.
Naaja being pretty.. Sad she won't have kids because she's such a cutie!
Birthday time came around and she went to a local dive bar in town to celebrate. Discovered you can buy a cake at the bar!? I don't know if that's from a mod or in game but I hadn't noticed it before!
aaaaaaand of course the literal second I have her go blow the candles out I'm pulled back to the house where Naaja's dad is dying. Very dramatic of him to choose that exact moment to die! It reminds me of several years ago my favorite sim's parent died at her birthday party then her other parent died at her wedding
I still have the pic of that actually! She has a thought bubble thing of her mom and then her dad dies at her wedding as she's thinking about mom Back when I played on integrated graphics.. By the way, when you go from awful graphics to high quality your sims look like aliens in the new graphics..

Anyhoo, before I sent her into CAS I couldn't help taking a look around her home first.
Umm...I was rather confused by her home decor. Particularly the kitchen. 😕 I mean, if she's the queen of fashion, why does her kitchen look like it belongs to a famous male race car driver...
It's hideous to me...
Or was she going for the Queen of Hearts look from Alice in Wonderland?? 🤷🏻♀️ Who knows.
And it really confuses me because her bedroom is decorated like this:
Complete OPPOSITE decor of what she has going on in the kitchen! Wow. 😮 Perhaps it's all part of her Insane trait??
(Oh and I totally slapped some blinds onto those giant windows to give her some much needed privacy and forgot to take a picture.)
I didn't have the energy or motivation to fix the kitchen - if she were a favorite sim that would be one thing - so I just moved on and took her into CAS.
After promptly giving her a new skin, I took off her sunglasses so I could properly see her whole face.
And I think I can guess why she wears sunglasses all the time...
...her eyes are huge like so many others in this world. (I thought that was just a Bridgeport sim thing. 🤔 But now I'm starting to think otherwise.)
I was unable to shrink her eyes, strangely enough, so I just tweaked them a tiny bit and added some cc eyes and better makeup. 👍🏻 Voila! New Anna:
I checked all her clothing and it was fine. I really didn't spend much time with her at all as she's just not my cup of tea. I did what was necessary and moved on. Lol! 😜
I was excited to check on the Shue Family as it had been a while and remembered making some adjustments to the two teenagers in the house during Sam's story run. (I forgot the reason, I think I just wanted to create some more variety in town.
Now when you first play the Shue family, all the kids are at the Child stage. I had previously aged up the two older children, Star and Danny, to Teens in Sam's story and gave them makeovers. (I didn't touch Granny, Gary, or Carlotta for some reason. 😆 ) So here they all are, in their tiny humble abode, at that current time in my game.
First I picked on Star.
I LOVE what I did with her hair back then! 😃 (Even though my daughter walked by and was like, "What is up with her hair!?" 🤣 To which I replied, "She's a teenager going through a phase..." with a jokingly pointed look and let's just say my daughter was unamused. 😏 Lol!)
And I love her kitty outfit too. 😸
Anyway, Star originally has green skin and since Sam basically cured everyone in town from the green skin side effect - due to stopping the evil holistic healing woman, Emmaline Rhoen - I've been fixing all the green skinned folks in town. (Still working on that actually...) And I think I gave Star those striking colors in her hair because they resemble some of those galaxy colors, you know, with her name being Star and all.
After I slapped some new skin and custom eyes on her...
I'm adding profile shots now for y'all too. 👍🏻
...I thought it might be a little fun to add a nose stud. Like I told my daughter, she's going through a phase. 😜
She's a cutie just like Evelyn. 😊
And speaking of, I have a galaxy print pattern that I decided to add to her swimsuit. 😊
Next I moved on to Danny...
I added some blue highlights into his hair previously and naturally he is reminding me of my Sebastian Sim - from Stardew Valley - as they share the same style hair. 😛
^He's got "permasmile" too, but it made him look so adorable that I decided to leave it alone. 🙃)

And goodness gracious bless her heart for doting an outfit like that! 😬😆
And I discovered that the green skin comes with green highlights in the sim's hair...Yuck!
But yeah, since Sam cured everyone from that issue, Granny is looking normal now.
Her ears are huge...but like I said before I really don't like to tweak townies genetics unless it is absolutely necessary. These ears aren't to me.
They suit the way her face looks in the front imo, as you could see in the previous picture. Anyway!
I had no clue what to dress her in for a new Everyday, so I just left her in that terrible outfit EA gave her! 🤣
Next I moved on to Gary...
He's a little cutie. 😊 Let's get a close up:
First thing I thought was, "Another one with large eyes!" 😬 However when I checked the sliders they were normal. I just forgot that Child sim's eyes naturally look a little large so that's when I started laughing. 😄 (I haven't created and played with a Child sim in a hot minute so...)
Now y'all, what I'm about to say about these next two child makeovers is in no way, shape, or form meant to sound offensive. Quite the opposite actually. 💜 Because I feel like EA was going for some "representation" when creating this family and I wanted to make that representation better and more accurate. 👍🏻 So here we go!
It's pretty obvious that Gary is a Black/African American child. So in that regard, I just couldn't keep the name Gary for him. It's too white! 😆🤷🏻♀️😛 (Y'all who know me, I like to keep it real in my game. 👍🏻)
So I changed his name to Desmond. I'm terrible at coming up with names and that one just came to me so I rolled with it.

And I gave him a new Everyday look:
He's a little genius that's going to end up changing the world for sure. ⭐
I actually really liked his Athletic outfit that EA gave him. 👍🏻 For once they did a good job.
Alright so moving on to Carlotta...

Ok, so I'm pretty sure EA was going for an Asian look with Carlotta, but to see if I was right...I aged her up to YA to properly see how her genetics looked and y'all trust me...they were not pretty. So much so, I couldn't even take a picture. 😐
Her eyes were WAY too far apart, her nose was off, as well as her chin and...this was another one of those moments where I had to break my "no changing the genetics" rule to save this poor child!!! 😫
So no worries Carlotta, the Goddess of the Sim world will take care of you. 🥰

I was playing around with different hairstyles on her and forgot about this new one I found just a few months ago and thought it looked cute on her. So I decided to keep it. 👍🏻
And because Carlotta is clearly not an Asian name (that I'm aware of... 😶) and I hate it 😆 I changed her name to Miya. It's so much prettier.

It hasn't always been easy for Granny to raise 4 children pretty much all at once, but she made sure to teach them how to help her around the house.
At bedtime I caught Desmond checking under his bed for monsters. (Their home is a tiny, two bedroom house so all the kids sleep in one room! I can't even imagine... 😬 especially with teenagers who need/want their privacy! I'll admit the thought had crossed my mind to move them into a bigger home, but I didn't feel like dealing with that at the moment.)
When I zoomed in to see if I could catch the monster eyes, I jumped in my seat when its arm popped out! 😳
Desmond was so freaked out that he went and crawled into bed with Granny. 💗 Can't say I blame him!
Danny didn't feel tired yet, so he texted Evelyn for a bit. 😊
Then he decided to be daring and stay out after curfew! (Actually the Goddess put the idea into his head. 😏 Hey, I have my reasons and they shall not be questioned! 🤣)
But no, I wanted to test and see if the cops would find him at the Redwood Peak Viewing Area because sims gotta hike one heck of a LONG trail to get up there...so I was wondering if they would even notice him being out.
Before 10pm though, he enjoyed doing some stargazing.
It was a breathtaking view overlooking the countryside, even at night. 💜
There was another teen sim that joined him up there, Emmit Preston - I'll highlight him and his family later - and Cami Kat. 😄 They all played foosball and darts together.
I was about to get a picture of that when I got the pop up of a Cop saying, "You're out past curfew young man, come with me!" And then I was like, Well darn..... 😔
And get this: The cop didn't come to Danny, the game made Danny run ALL the way down the trail to get into the cop car at the base of it. I was like, "Really???" I guess I had forgotten how the game works and that there's really no possible way for a teen to elude the cops while being out past curfew. I thought for sure with Danny being all the way up there he would have, but nope. 🙄 Silly game...
Figured I might as well take a dumb picture of him riding in the cop car towards home and it turned out to be a bad shot...
Needless to say Granny was furious with Danny when he got home. "This isn't like you to stay out past curfew! What's going on with you?"
Goddess of the Sim world: I'm so sorry Danny... 😢
Danny apologized greatly and asked what he could do to make it up to her.
^As you can see from Granny's thought bubble the two lost their friendship over that event. This Goddess is not perfect, unfortunately, 😜 and had I known that would happen, I would've tested that whole curfew thing out another teen sim. So I quickly took care of that - thanks cheats! - and made them friends again. ⭐ )
Granny: "How about you start doing more of the chores around here like taking out the trash, cleaning the bathroom, and raking the leaves. Then we'll see if you make it back on my good side." (I would never personally say it in that way to my child, but y'all know how the game is so I worded it like that. 😜)
After Danny went to bed - it was around 3 am - Granny couldn't go back to sleep so she grabbed a cup of coffee and sat down at the table and sipped on it.
Granny: "This is going to be a loooong day..."
Danny didn't actually have to do much at all to get back on Granny's good side. He took out the trash and did the dishes and that was it! ⭐ I was happy. 😊
Later that morning, the kids went off to school and Granny decided to visit the Graveyard. I pretended she was so that she could visit friends and loved ones who are buried there.
I love how the game accurately portrays the way an old person drives! Tight grip on the steering wheel while leaning forward, eyes straining to see the road... 😂
After visiting some graves, she decided to tour the catacombs and walked out feeling freaked out. Lol! That's when I got this pop-up saying that she needed to go to work and I was like, "Huh? Oh I guess that makes sense. She's gotta support those 4 kids somehow!" However her job was at the lowest level of the Cooking career and then my face went like: 😐 So I cheated and had her retire at a pretty good pay rate...
She was thrilled of course!
I might have Star and Danny take up some part-time jobs as well to help support. 👍🏻
When Granny got home she checked the mail.
And once again the game was making Sam act ridiculously... 🙄
GRANNY, SAM!? Really!?!? 🤦🏻♀️
And if you think that was bad, pay close attention to this one:
EEEWW!! Eww, eww, eww, eww, eww!!! 🤮 Naughty Renauld! Quit being creepy game!! 😠
Anyway, Scott Chesterfield came home with Star that day:
Star: "Whaaat!? You don't like the movies!?"
Scott: "It's not so much that I don't like movies, I just don't like Actors. They think they are so much better than everyone! And most don't even deserve to have their name on the Hollywood Walk of Fame because they didn't truly earn it..."
Scott: Only musicians, like myself, truly earn our way to stardom. Not simply through famous family or friend ties!
Star: *thinking* Okaaaaaay...
They really weren't hitting it off. 😐😆
She got so bored with him that once he found the TV she went outside and her eyes caught hold upon a large bird in the distance. Quickly and carefully, she approached it.
She really had a way with the hawk because it bonded with her instantly and jumped right onto her arm. Without biting her!

One of the "Toyota Family" children came home with Desmond after school as well. (I will also highlight them later.) The two seemed to enjoy each other's company much more than Star and Scott were...

In closing I'd like to throw out something random.
I'm still discovering all that comes with the Showtime EP and I had no clue performing Sims could do the Moonwalk. I loved watching that! 😄
I didn't love watching the sim himself though... he's kinda ugly. LOL! 😂 I'm terrible sometimes...

Most movie watchers have seen Perry...the guy that Maverick refers to as "that older guy"
Well, he was actually THIS guy.
Rear Admiral Kenneth Pete "Viper" Pettigrew - the REAL Viper. The Naval technical advisor for the movie Top Gun whose role as Perry Siedenthal (Charlie's boss) was a cameo.
We lost him three days ago on the 24th of June of this year due to complications of throat cancer.
He was fond of Top Gun fans and would happily tell us stories about his naval career and his stint as a Top Gun instructor as well as regale us with his experiences with the F-4 Phantom and the F-14 Tomcat, both planes that he'd flown.
His fellow naval aviators in the group are gutted - and so are we...the ones who got to meet him (I didn't - couldn't travel down to the meetups), but he made sure that we were well aware of the fact that he appreciated every single one of us fans.
So...
Pete, rest easy... Rest in Peace, Clear Skies, Fair Winds and Following Seas on your journey West. Thank you for all the wonderful experiences you shared with us. Save us a seat at the table when we see you on the other side.

The clicking sound from the tower concerns me - some say it's potentially a case cooling fan failure/CPU cooling fan failure or worst case scenario if you don't have an SSD drive, but a mechanical HDD, is that the read/write head is wearing out and kaboom - there goes your hard drive.
All I can say is that I hope it's not the power supply, or the hard drive. I don't want to scare anyone, but a power supply failure can cause a power spike that can damage a hard-drive.
Having to self-diagnose several computers running this Sims 3 has made me have to learn more about computers than I ever wanted to know. 🥴?
That's why my next system (when I have enough to do so) that I get will be built to specs that are meant to run the latest games...with plenty of room for "growth". The game manufacturers keep creating games that will push the system to its edge.

I've been letting my sims do their own thing, dictating who they're attracted to...and well, Tosh is the "odd-man out"; no hearts when it comes to Jugs attraction towards him on her end...and well neither did Meg, so well...guess who enters the fray. Evidently there is no attraction when one sim is an adult and the other is a "young adult"...probably due to the difference in ages.
Tosh, on the other hand, is a taciturn, stern sort and well, nothing appears to faze him in the slightest. However, there is one person, whom he's served with that has always sparked his interest, a former squadron-mate by the name of Maegyn "Irish" O'Bannon. She is only two years younger than he is and they were tight as squadron-mates.

@Nikkei_Simmer, sorry that I hadn't replied back as I was waiting to see what Best Buy discovered on my PC. So it was the CPU and the motherboard. I think the motherboard was going bad last year when my lights on the front of the tower wasn't coming on, at least that's what the tech told my hubby when he mentioned the lights not coming on. Remember I have the Cyberpower Gaming PC that I got in December 2022 but the computer is a bit older than that as my hubby was told that you can't buy the boards that's in it now. So the hubby had to pay for new parts for it. He needed to get 212 Halo Black CPU cooler, Corsair Vengeance DDR5, AUS B650E Motherboard and an AMD RYZEN 7900X 76 Processor. So basically, they just need to rebuild my PC, so hopefully I will get that back sometime this week.

Well with the forum here still up and running until the 15th, I need to get crackin' on sharing more of my Hidden Springs gameplay. (Since it will most likely take me a while to learn how to post on the new forums. Lol! 😄 )
So without further adieu, here is Part 9 of: Emorrill's Random Gameplay: Revisiting Sam's Hidden Springs World Edition!
*This will be a bit picture heavy so I apologize to y'all who have slow internet.
So y'all know that I've been going into every household in Hidden Springs to give the Sims and their homes some much needed makeovers and updates right? And you know how there's always that one household in every world that you really don't care for and are always disgusted when you see them around town trying to converse with your favorite sims? (Or any sims for that matter? 😆)
Well that is the case with me - the Goddess of the Sim world - and Bert Alto. 😐
I don't like any of the Altos. Never have. And Bert is the worst of them, imo.
However, with that being said, I am a nice Goddess and I intend to uphold that belief in all my Sim's worlds. 😄👍🏻 So, as much as I despise Bert, I went ahead and threw him into CAS for a new skin when I saw him walking about Hidden Springs.
I don't even remember which skin I gave him, but here he is in all his glory:
I didn't even bother giving him custom eyes, I just want all the townies to have nice cc skins so that's all I changed on him and let him go. I won't be visiting his home anytime soon to see what it looks like because...I just don't care.
Anyhoo! Moving on to a better family.
So during Sam's story run I had combined the Ruiz and Shawkti families into one home because I had discovered - I don't remember how - that Carly and Pierce had become romantic interests and I thought it was super cute. 💗 (Seriously, when you look at their traits they are MADE for each other! The game did good.
However, that was before I discovered that Pierce has commitment issues... 🙄 And yes, I could easily change that trait and make the blended family live happily ever after. (Because I'm the Goddess! 😇) But just to keep things interesting in the world, I kept it and had Pierce propose to Carly, but is dragging his feet when it comes to tying the knot. 😜 There's another issue with them finally marrying too, which I will reveal later. 😏
But for now, let's take a look at the new Ruiz-Shawkti Household beginning with the man of the house, Pierce Shawkti:

My my he is one handsome Sim. 😍 He brought along his daughter, Sidney, to the household and we'll see her in a bit.
Since he's in the Professional Sports Career, I thought I would give him a more sculpted torso... 😏
Don't judge me ok! It's all in good fun. 😜
I decided to move on to Carly next and oh dear...it looks like (once AGAIN! 😣) that I had removed 2 more hairs from my game since Sam's story run that were on her and Sidney... *Sigh*

So into CAS Carly went:
I don't mind that stay-at-home/soccer mom hair at all, but it gets old to see after a while when you've removed cc hairs from your game! 😐
I ultimately settled on this hair for her, after new skin, eyes, and makeup of course.
Back in LIVE mode:
Goddess: "Yes, hello there Carly. And you are welcome for the fantabulous makeover." 😁
Obviously I had to pick on Sidney next. 🙃
So you can see what her previous hair was in the UI panel below:
And since I didn't feel like hunting that hair down, I settled on the most similar hairstyle I had at my disposal for her:
Next I moved on to the oldest of the boys, who both belong to Carly. (Even though they aren't really hers...she just happened to be the nanny that got stuck with them after their parents disappeared! 😬 Yeah! Goddess here didn't make that up, EA did!)
His name is Emmit Preston.
Here he is with new skin, eyes, and some red highlights in his hair. 😁
I love the way he was posed outside of CAS when I had the game paused. He's a cutie! Even with a commanding presence.
And lastly I moved on to the youngest boy, Jake Preston:

Now y'all, when I started playing with the family I kid you not, almost every single appliance or electronic device these Sims touched, it broke. Like ONE RIGHT AFTER THE OTHER IT WAS INSANE!!! 😣 If I could have recorded it for proof, I would have. But needless to say it drove me nuts hearing that annoying "something broke" chime over and over again in a matter of a few passing sim minutes. I swear their house is cursed or something!
So I had them call for a repair man to take care of it all because no one in that house is handy - I checked. (Bless this guy's poor heart! 😆)
That dude shows up and I see that he's GREEN! 😮
Goddess: "Golly, even some of the NPC's are green in this world? SAM CURED EVERYONE OF THAT!!! How many times doth I need to say it!?" 😩🤣
Well, I knew what I needed to do...
This dude is ugly... 😬 But all he is getting is a cure so here we go:

Anyway, while the repairs were going on, Pierce and Sidney played a video game. She was kicking his butt. 😆 And with Pierce's competitive nature, he really couldn't stand that.
Not long after, Emmit came over to give Sidney a hug. 💗
And after witnessing that scene I have to say that the Goddess knows things... 😏 And I know that Emmit has been digging on Sidney since grade school...
Now they are an almost blended family...
That might complicate things a bit. 😬😏
Anyhoo, one of Carly's co-workers suggested she have a Bachelorette party before getting married. So for funzies I let it happen.
The sad thing is, Carly had like no friends in her Friendship panel. I felt so sad for her. 🙁 So when I went to invite all these "aquaintances" to her party, I didn't think that many of them would show up...
Turns out that a good many of them did...and then some! 😮
And by that I mean the Vanderburgs showed up! *Mind blown*
Carly sure was thrilled! 😀 I would've been too!
Ok, so this random gal who showed up had on the worst Formal attire of the bunch! AND the stay-at-home mom hair. 😑
I had to fix her.
Up close and personal in CAS I discovered that she's very much a "pudding sim."
And y'all, I went all out giving her a makeover, complete with rainbow hair! 😁 I haven't used it on a sim in years and I thought it would be fun to now. Hee hee!
Renauld Vanderburg sure didn't care for this gal spraying him with Fizzy Nectar:
But when Carly did the same to him, he loved it. "Just what is going on here?" - The Goddess wondered with suspicion. 🤔
Heck Catarina Vanderburg loved it too!!!
Carly had like ZERO friends! And yet somehow the Vanderburgs show up at her pathetic little Bachelorette Party (where the male stripper showed up, but disappeared upon entering the house - true story) and they automatically love her?? Goddess was getting that "Sus" feeling indeed! 😐
Catarina Vanderburg even led the TOAST to the lady of the party. (In the upstairs bedroom of all places... 🙄 Silly game!)
Carly was so stoked she couldn't believe it! This had to be a dream! I mean, it was certainly a dream come true! ⭐
She couldn't help asking the Vanderburg Queen for her autograph and just like any perfect dream, Catarina consented.
Carly then told her man all about it and sprayed him with nectar in celebration. 😆
He was all for it!
Then after that he showered and went straight to bed - dreaming about painting lol - while the party was still rattling the walls downstairs.
When the party ended, it was declared only a modest success which really didn't surprise me. But all the guests had fun.
(It had been a success enough to bump Carly up to Celebrity status, 😮 but I removed that via MC because I don't want her to be a celeb!)
And the only thing I could figure as to why the Vanderburgs showed up is because a couple of those acquaintances that were invited were celebrities. (Like Emma Beckett) So when word got out that some celebrities were visiting a humble little house bachelorette party, the Vanderburgs just had to see what it was all about. 😜
That still doesn't explain why they instantly loved Carly though, but I guess she's just really likeable. 🤷🏻♀️
Anyway, check out how filthy the toilet got after the party! 🤮
Poor Emmit was tasked with that cleaning job - since his parents were dead to the world drunk that morning and he had to pee! 🤣
Meanwhile, Sidney started texting Danny Shue since she also had a little crush on him and...Emmit hadn't really made any advances towards her like she'd always been hoping. Probably because we're going to be a family soon, she thought with a disappointed sigh.
Emmit noticed Sidney conversing with Danny more and it started to bother him...
He went to his friend Scott Chesterfield's house after school the next day and asked him about it over doing homework together:
Emmit: "What should I do man? I've wanted to ask Sidney out for...forever! But now our parent's engagement is screwing all that up! And just when I'm old enough to actually date her. Ugh! What should I do!?"
Scott: "I dunno dude, that's a tough one. It su'cks, but I gotta be honest with you, dating her will never be a good idea now. Even though you aren't blood related, you'll be related via marriage...and that will look bad to everyone in town. You'll both get a bad rap."
Emmit: *Sighs*
Scott: "You're just gonna have to let her go... It's for the best."
Emmit: *thinking* He's right... Or maybe when we're adults we can leave this pathetic place together and live out our life deeply in love and no one will ever know...
But who am I kidding?
In his depressed state, Emmit went out to greet the mysterious alien that showed up on their lot around 3am, hoping to be whisked away from his terrible dilemna - not even caring if he would get probed. 😔
But after only a short conversation, the alien took off, not taking Emmit with him. The lovesick boy kicked at the air and went back inside to bed.
The next day was Spooky Day and Sidney suggested to Emmit that they go to the Fall Festival together, particularly to go through the Haunted House. Emmit couldn't resist, no matter how much his heart ached.
First they entered the Pie Eating Contest because they were both pretty hungry...
Emmit won!
Sidney went to throw up afterward and Emmit couldn't help giving her a hug in sympathy. 💘
Sidney: "Oh Emmit, you are just the sweetest guy! How many guys will hug a girl with a face full of pie filling and has vomit breath?"
Emmit: *chuckles, then bravely says* "Guys like me I guess..."
Sidney: "Yep. Guys like you..." *blushes*
Next they went through the Haunted House. It was scarier than it had ever been before, to the teen's surprise. They had never been so freaked out in all their lives! 😨
When Sidney exited the house as a ghostly figure, Emmit panicked! Thinking she had been killed by a ghoul or something...and that her spirit was leaving this world for good.
He refused to believe it! Nor was he going to allow it, without expressing something first! So he did something very impulsive...
Sidney: *shocked* "Emmit!? What're you..."
Emmit: *gaping* "You're not dead!?"
Sidney: "No, silly! Some creature in there put this little hex on me or something!"
Emmit: "Oh...... Thank gosh!!"
Sidney: "So...does this mean you...you have feelings for me too?"
Emmit: "Too?" *looking hopeful* I-I mean, yes! I've always liked you Sidney..."
Sidney: *grins* "I've always liked you too Emmit."
Emmit: "And I just hate that our parents getting married is ruining everything--"
Sidney: Just shut up Emmit and let's do that again! *pulls him in for a kiss this time*
"Wow" they both blissfully whispered afterward. 😏
Next they went bobbing for apples. Sidney won that time. 😊
When they returned home, Emmit didn't waste anymore time...
Emmit: "Sidney...will you be my girl? As in, just you and me?"
Sidney: "Yes Emmit! A million times yes!" *Jumps into his arms*
And they sealed the deal with a kiss. 💕
Sidney: *looking worried* "What will our parents think about this?"
Emmit: *feeling unsure* "We'll just have to keep it a secret from them."
Sidney: *gapes* "And how exactly are we going to do that? Parents always find out everything!"
Emmit: "True. But let's see how long we can keep it a secret. It'll be fun!"
Sidney: "...Yeah. It just might be." *blushes*
In the following days, Emmit and Sidney simply went about their lives, acting like typical teenagers do.
Both: "Gah! Homework su'cks!"
Emmit: *whispers* "Wanna make out later?"
Sidney: "Shhhh!"
Then once at the table during lunch time with her dad...
Sidney: "Soup, dad? Really? Could you be anymore fit? You could eat a giant burger if you wanted to..."
Pierce: "Mind over matter honey..."
Apparently one of the wall speakers didn't get fixed from the "everyone breaking everything" fiasco earlier... 🙄 So guess who came back?
And I forgot to mention that after that said fiasco, I used Debug Enabler and upgraded every freaking thing that could break in that house!!!
⭐👍🏻 Cause good grief that was NOT happening again!
I wanted to end this episode with a photo of the cute family sitting at the table together. 💗
Will Emmit and Sidney be able to keep their relationship a secret from their parents for long? And will Pierce finally set a date for the wedding? Perhaps that's exactly what the two teens are hoping for...that he won't. 😜
I guess y'all will just have to see what the Goddess has in store for this family, but for now, I have to move on to another family in town.

I placed a rabbit hole rug in the adjoining building behind to make the lot a playable hospital. Now I have two hospitals in Bridgeport. There is no cc in this lot because it's from 2012 when I uploaded it to the exchange.
I added a building onto the science lab in Bridgeport to make it playable. It has offices and a full science lab in the basement.

Aubrey was aging up to adult soon and decided she should put herself out there again. She met up with Niki in the picture and Niki brought her roommate Julia, who is just off screen holding a pool cue
She got on great with Niki but when she went over to Niki's house and got to know Julia better she immediately rolled a want to kiss her, so that's who she's with now and Niki is now one of aub's closest friends.
Naaja being pretty.. Sad she won't have kids because she's such a cutie!
Birthday time came around and she went to a local dive bar in town to celebrate. Discovered you can buy a cake at the bar!? I don't know if that's from a mod or in game but I hadn't noticed it before!
aaaaaaand of course the literal second I have her go blow the candles out I'm pulled back to the house where Naaja's dad is dying. Very dramatic of him to choose that exact moment to die! It reminds me of several years ago my favorite sim's parent died at her birthday party then her other parent died at her wedding
