I am a bit apprehensive about that option. If it is done well, it might help. I hope the devs remembered to check how this trait works with villainous valentines.
This option makes the player reward trait kind of redundant. What if I set my supersim with the player trait to be romantically exclusive. Which setting gets priority? I hope the devs considered this possibility as well.
Right now I am preparing to marry of my supersim. She had her bachelorette party, picked out her wedding gown, crafted jewelry to wear at the wedding,... At this point in time I don't want her to be with anyone other than her fated mate and groom. Should she complete the new aspirations? I don't know what to do with this.
Now I come to think of it, what will be the effect of being non-exclusive combined with the werewolves fated mates relationship. It is all very complex.
I wonder if some aspirations might start cancelling each other out in the future with all the none compatibility appearing as new aspirations are released. It might be like the traits cancelling each other out for example neat/ slob, outgoing/loner and so on.... perhaps if you pick wanting a soulmate then the serial romantic will cancel out.
If we can't do all then That would break this aspiration challenge. I don't think this will happen but I do think we will have to be more careful to avoid conflicts. So far I am aware of 3 conflicts.
- the villainous valentine has to be done before the serial romantic aspiration because the reward trait of of the serial romantic makes the other goals impossible
- to do the master chef and the mixology aspiration you need to select the mixology branch of the career. This branch fullfils the job requirements of both aspirations. If you select the chef branch, you can only do the fresh chef aspiration
- the fabulously filthy aspiration needs to be done before the fresh chef aspiration because it requires you to leave food to spoil. This is impossible once you have the fresh chef trait. I cheated that one goal after my sim left out drinks that did spoil but those don't count.
just noticed, other two tasks result in ending relationships (and even cheating usually turns detrimental)... maybe they don't fix it because doing something without any negative consequences just doesn't fit the tone of this aspiration

I know. I hated that part of the aspiration. It goes against my usual way of playing. My sims don't cheat on their partner and I dislike breaking couples up. That's why I created 10 temporary couples, straight out of cas just to break them up. Afterwards they all got deleted from my save. Let's say they moved to a distant location. This way all the permanent residents were safe from the aspiration.
As for the story of my supersim, this is so much out of character for her that I needed a reason for her to be so nasty. She was doing all these horrible things while she was fighting the mother plant in stranger ville. In my story it was a side effect of being infected in strangerville. Once she was cured, she stayed faithful to her one true love and never broke up another couple.
