I'm happy (not sure if this is weird to say ) that they keep adding new deaths with the EPs, I just hope that heartbreak death won't occur everytime someone cheats on the Sim, for example.
I agree. I'm really happy it's a Thing now, but hopefully we won't see Sims constantly sobbing and dropping dead everywhere. I also really hope there is a new Ghost type for this. I've wanted a crying ghost since the beginning of the game.
I wonder if we can invite these costumed people to dance/entertain at parties and such? Or is it a strictly private eyes only activity.
I think it might be possible where ever that costume chest is
I'm wondering though if the dancing can be done in normal clothing too rather than being just costume dance π€

Gosh I hope so because I have some spicy gameplay going on that has just relied on my imagination / storytelling thus far but it would be fun to make it more of a reality. (It involves turning the Caboose into a certain kind of bar if you know what I mean).

My love, my love, my fearless love, I will not say goodbye..

I hope it's triggered by your sim crying or having the sad moodlet and then goes back to being normal eyeliner. Not like cc eyeliner that are always streaked. Like you said it's great for simlit either way. When my sims cried in my head always explained their eyeliner stayed perfect because they thought ahead and bought waterproof.π
This is Wicked Felina. Mexican Maiden. Slinger of Guns.
Queen of the Rumbasim.
Lovestruck has me mighty curious now - I'm looking forward to today's trailer!
If I buy the pack, Wicked Felina will whirl and lurv-strike and my first Singles Hangout will be Rosa's Cantina.
If I don't buy it...well...in the lives of my brave outlaw sims, there's only one true treasure worth fighting for: a woman. Tale as old as time.
This time around that woman could very well be Wicked Felina. Oh Wicked Felina, The Maiden that Struck, no matter what. β€οΈβπ₯
Ah, @CAPTAIN_NXR7 , Iβve heard about Wicked Felina. Donβt forget to put a back door on Rosaβs Cantina, for use by wayward cowboys.
My thoughts on the new pack:
β’ The new Boundaries feature will let us not have to worry about the negative relationship impact of random flirty sims while out on the town anymore with our couple sims β thatβll be nice.
β’ Iβm REALLY interested in the dating app and turn ons/offs β sounds great. That used to be fun in the old Sims games.
β’ SO glad to see the old favorites in Build/Buy β the Heart Bed, Lip Sofa, and Bear Rug!!
β’ I LOVE how this pack just seems SILLY β that used to be the hallmark of the old Sims 1, 2, and 3 games, to me β a sense of silliness and play that the Sims 4βs realism has nerfed a little too hard for my tastes. Itβll be nice to have some of it back!
β’ Also, βcounselingβ as a concept SO reminds me of the old Social Bunny and the funny doctor who fixed your failed aspirations in the Sims 2β¦. Good times!!

We could do with a bunch of Moaning Myrtles alright.
Don't hate me folks - as this may sound cruel- but I think it's a real shame that children can no longer die in a game like TS4.
I really miss the wee ghost children. Twas never the adults, no, twas always the ghost children that encouraged me to find all the ingredients for ambrosia so that I could resurrect them. What a challenge that was. Ghost children used to make my game feel more..."alive".
I remember when one of my favourite sim kids got crushed by a meteor because she was such a curious little thing, and man, I really felt that one. It gave me - the player - and her parents a renewed sense of purpose; all of a sudden their story became much more interesting for me to play out.
Please bring back the ghost children (along with that long-overdue ghost overhaul) .π€
they can ...unalive, via drowning, freezing, fires, not sure how else or if other deaths apply to them too but they do. I always thought it was weird they could unalive in this but not in elder scrolls/fallout.

They can?!
Since when?! I gave up long time ago due to failing at every single attempt of...trying to be an all 'round nice guy...
I apologize in advance as this has clearly nothing to do with Lovestruck whatsoever, but I figured we all need that update, or not.
Anywhoo, it worked.
R.I.P Alexander Goth. The Boy Who Will Live Again, Soonish.
I won't tell what happened. He just sort of turned into a floating urn...
All is well.
Bella is very sad though. I've been waiting for Alex the ghostly revenant to turn up so that I can add him to the household again, alas, the spectre child is nowhere to be seen. I then realised I have the Ghastly Ghost mod installed which prevents most sims from seeing dead - pardon me- "unalive" people. It will make our journey all the more interesting, won't it? Bells my dear lady, brace yerself, there's work to be done.
Again, little Alex is just fine. He'll grow up to be a true Lovestruck Casanova, made of flesh, blood and plenty of lurv. π
This pack is growing on me, although I rarely allow my sims to get into romantic affairs. A few kids were even coceived in CAS...
I hope couples will be able to hold hands while walking, if not for their full walk, at least for a moment or while walking straight ahead. Realizing there might be issues when turning a corner etc.
I also would apprecciate partner therapy. Hoping the councel service is more like partner therapy than just asking a πΈπΈπΈπΈ woman about romantic prospects and perhaps a blind date (re TS1 or TS2). My couple in a theraphist's sofa could be rather fun, it could highlight what they got in common and what not. It would be a great activity even for some of my couples who are not really struggling with their relation. Maybe such therapy session could be a way to switch your couple's relation dynamics? Hmmm... guess it's too late for new ideas...
@CAPTAIN_NXR7 awww, poor little ghost Alex. Reminds me of a sad book I once read called 'Alex' by Adam Nicolai, he was a little boy ghost in that.
But to stay on topic I have been looking for something positive to say about the EP ummm... all I can come up with at the moment is - wearing the partial fireman outfit whilst lounging invitingly on a bear rug. Lol.
I've been waiting for turn-ons and turn-offs since Sims 2! I'm so happy rn. And plannable dates! I hope other sims truly leave daters alone, that would be so amazing. π
Allons-y!

It's not as interesting as what Captain has going on, but I prepped some sims up for Lovestruck. I'm gonna try and play through several storylines and see where things go. It's going to revolve around a bachelor party vacation to Enamorada.
Shane Stellar is a total good two-shoes who needs to learn how to cut loose. He was raised by his grandparents and great-grandpa, ever since his parents died (his father died before he was born, and his mother died when he was in infant.) He spent his life taking care of others, putting the needs of his friends and family over his own, and doing what he could to honor his family, even if he was constantly overwhelmed. When he finally decided to strike out on his own, he became a farmer... and puts all his animals needs above his own. He's only barely holding the farm down now, thanks to his magical abilities. But the pressure's been getting to him.
He goes to the club with his best friends a few times a week, and he also likes to take photographs of interesting landmarks. He plans on visiting Cuidado Ciudad Enamorada, not only to take part in the club scene and take some pictures, but to also get in touch with his Latin Simerican roots. (His family is Selvadoradian, but close enough. We don't have a lot of options and I'm not picky.) Maybe he can find that special someone who can expand his horizons and teach him that it's okay to let loose once in a while.
except him. I also planned another girl to be his love interest when he was a teen, but she ended up hooking up with his friend instead. Even in high school, he beat out every other sim in a two-school spellcasting tournament, despite only having a passing interest in magic.
I want to have him find love, since he's foiled me with every other path I've set for him. Also, I want him to stop calling Shane every single sim day. Man needs a hobby. So he'll be joining the trip to Enamorada in the hopes of finding love, and/or enjoying the partying scene. But knowing him, he'll probably turn out to be aro-ace, just to make things more difficult for me.
Serena Stellar is their great-great-great(?) grandma. Her husband died almost 200 years ago, and she's been single ever since. (The second biggest downside of being a vampire: all your loved ones die before you.) She's kept a watchful eye on her family, but now they want her to move on and find love. Serena was hesitant at first, but now she's ready to see what the world of romance has waiting for a mother of two, grandmother of two, great-grandmother of four, great-great grandmother of eleven, & great-great-great grandmother of three and counting.
She won't be going to Enamorada, since it's too hot and sunny. But she's curious about that Cupid's Corner app. She's unfamiliar with such modern technology, but it can't hurt to try it out.
Fletcher Newt (Center, blue hair) is one of Serena's great-great-great grandchildren, and a very distant cousin of Shane and Trevon. He's also part of the latter two's friend group. He trained his magic in the hopes of becoming the next Magus [the spellcaster Pope, basically] like his now-deceased father, who gave up his life energy to save his son from a blood curse. But Trevon defeated him in the tournament and Fletcher realized that he just wasn't strong enough for the role. (Shane also tried to become the Magus, so he could use the power and authority to save Fletcher from his curse, but lost in the tournament to... Trevon. Noticing a pattern?)
He's now a teacher, like his mother, and plans on taking over the magic school when she retires. He's engaged to Daisy Fleur (blonde woman in the back), but they got engaged right out of high school and he's unsure if he's ready for that next step. Especially since their relationship would be hampered by distance, when she moves into his family's Windenburg estate and he teaches in Brindleton Bay. He's hoping a wild trip to Enamorada will help him loosen up and have fun before he ties the knot. Maybe he'll find a reason not to marry Daisy? Or maybe he'll find out that he has all he needs at home, with her.
Daisy's twin brother. Ash Fleur is one of the boys, albeit a later addition. While the first three were childhood friends, he joined them near the end of high school. Originally, he was standoffish and stayed within the popular crowd, as he was from a nuveau riche family of celebrities, and he wanted to cement their status by becoming the next Magus. When he lost the spellcaster tournament, his dreams were crushed. But he got to know Shane during a field trip, and he would integrate Ash into their group. It was a pretty big deal at the time, due to the Fleur and Stellar families having a long-standing feud.
He dated Devan Spellguard for a few years. Devan is the fifth boy; his father, grandfather and great-grandfather were all best friends with their generations' Stellars. Shane had a crush on Ash, but kept it hidden so Devan and Ash could date. But the two would break up over spellcaster differences (neither wanted to give up their family name if they married, as they were the heirs of their dynasties. Witch culture stuff, don't worry about it.) Ash briefly considered hooking up with Shane afterwards, but Shane turned him down because he didn't want to complicate their friend group further.
Ash is a freelance photographer to the stars, continuing his family's legacy of stardom. He's also the Cassanova of the group. But maybe that will change while he's on a trip with the boys. He's been eyeing the girl I made for Trevon, though who knows if he wants to get involved in another love triangle?
Devan Spellguard is the final boy. A painter by trade, he was Fletcher's art mentor in high school; that's how he got integrated into the group. His mother arranged for him to marry a witch by the name of Janette Couch. Unsure of how he feels about Janette, he's eager to at least escape family pressures and go on vacation. Maybe he can convince Fletcher that getting married is a mistake, because Devan sure isn't too keen on marriage right now.
Gayle Giorno is an associate of the boys. A Originally created by me to date Trevon, she was designed to be a party-goer they'd regularly run into at clubs. But while Trevon seems to like her, she has her eyes on Ash. But who knows? Maybe she might change her target during the trip to Enamorada. Also, she's going to Enamorada - she insisted on joining the party. She may have a partying addiction, which is bad for a future counselor.
Zorro (Black) was an elderly horse Shane rescued. Despite being warned about taking in such an old and abused animal, he took Zorro in and turned him into a champion in the Western Pleasure division. He recently passed on.
Peaches (Peachy-Brown) was Shane Stellar's great-great grandpa Fabian's horse. Fabian is Serena's son, and somehow still alive despite pushing 200. But after Peach's dad died and Fabian retired from horse competitions, he decided to hand over Peaches to Shane. She quickly took a liking to Zorro, and they had a daughter named Stormy.
Why mention all of this? Because Stormy is stowing away on the boys trip. Maybe she's going to find love, too?

The only one not yet connected to the boys at first. AndrΓ© Medina-Flores is an Enamorada native and a bartender. He dreams of opening his own restaurant and showing off his culture's food to the world. He was inspired by an old restaurant he went to when he visited Copperdale as a child; the Sugar Rush, which was opened by Jace Stellar (very distant ancestor of Shane, Trevon and possibly Fletcher) and later run by the Kinross family before it went out of business. He hopes to revive the restaurant.
AndrΓ© is passionate. Some might say he's overbearing. He wants to encourage others to follow their dreams and be as bold as he is, but he's also stubborn and struggles to deal with people who don't think the same way he does. So he's going to clash with the boys when they visit his bar.
Dane Kinsley. She's an assassin.
EDIT: This might be complicated, so here's a chart to help explain all the connections.
