Yes to Mexican culture. And I want my sim to actively experience things. Not just have NPCs drop lore tidbits when you ask them, or some Saturday evening festival where you stand around and eat food.
But I'm not looking forward to the world tbh. The set dressing issue has been a problem for a while, and it's only gotten worse since High School Years. I feel like we'll only get some rabbit holes to flesh out the world, and a lot of open spaces for sims to have romantic dates with those WooHoo blankets.

The Sims 4 hasn't introduced a new musical instrument since 2017

I hope there are big lots like 64 x 64 and 50 x50 for big plans. I hope it's a beautiful world. I really hope there are more big features than what was described in the leak. No rabbit holes please.
on a side note, there is already Mexican food in the game, already, so not sure what they are planning to introduce to the menu which would be new. Is it Mexico exactly or a Latin American world?
I don't mind rabbit holes if they are meaningfully done. For example I enjoy the buildings in tartosa where my sims can order food. I would enjoy the Tomarang rabbit holes more if something tangible came from them to show the experience happened. Hopefully if there are rabbit holes they include more than just dialog pop-ups.
Im excited for the world, it is usually one of the most exciting parts of a new pack for me. I hope we have good festivals on the level of what we saw in city living. I hope we have new food options. Definitely hoping for large lots and for a lot of lots.
I'm on other hand hoping to see small to mid size lots in the center of the city so I can add little shops and date venues
the issue I have with Tartosa is that the lots are so far away from each other and the center of town
and I can't really build the types of buildings we have as shell buildings in the world because those are tiny and tall meanwhile lots we have are big and id have to build whole town on one lot just to have it look right which I don't feel is functional in gameplay

I feel like that is problem the lots are so fat away .That it makes it tedious .Also the set dressing is way more noticeable

I have a habit of adding resturuants in each town.
The problem is they keep using the same set dressing too. There's monkey bars even at the high school that the teenager's can't even use. They should have had pull-up bars for them at the auditorium but I guess they don't want sims changing into their gym clothing during prom. I have felt if an object needs animations, we probably won't see it. At least with For Rent we get 2 new kids activities in the community spaces.
I'm excited about getting a Spanish World because it will be so perfect for my Medieval & Georgian/Victorian Game Saves.
However, I am concerned that it may be buggy like Tomarang.
So, I will be paying very close attention when the Youtuber Simmers get their Early Access to see if there's any problems with the new World.

yes i like the city hall in tartosa whee you can get married or divorce but for some reason never worked in my game
I would give up pretty decor and massive flashy gardens I can't interact with in exchange for more and larger residential lots.
The reason worlds are so small is because this way they're small enough to fit on a Console.
Yeah, I would prefer more lots too. Maybe some more lot types. And some lot traits rather than rabbit holes. It would be nice to get a beach with lots right by them if not over them. A new boat that could seat more than 1. New collectibles would be nice too.
I hope there will be minimum one hood that is historical, preferable one with a harbor. Aaaand, with enough lots (even if they are small) for us to add both accommodation and sights - if the main hood is modern, there should be an older hood near by to tell the region's history. Selvadorada has the minimum with its cantina and a museum. Tartosa is a problem with too few lots in the town area.
I just hope it occurred to someone on the team for this pack that they gave us a really beautiful premade Mexican wedding venue in our libraries when My Wedding Stories came out, and it would be beyond ridiculous to give us a new Mexico-inspired world dedicated to romance without an empty lot big enough to fit that wedding venue.
I hate it when a world is all open spaces and there's plenty of room for lots but there's only three or four actual lots. No room for you to build your own parks or bars, you need to have residential lots.
I mean, the basic world may not be flashy like the new ones, but at least there were a lot of lots.
Every time a pack comes out, I upgrade my Special Project.
We are getting 13 lots in the new world. This sounds about right as developer in one of the ep live streams, I think Horse Ranch said 13 would be maximum moving forward. https://x.com/TheHenfordHen/status/1803354403279172090

13 lots again why are they so stingy with every world ????

I know we can't get worlds like Windenberg anymore. I think due to all the dlc and the architecture of the game they can't push it.
& brace yourself, because there will be apartments most likely and I don't know but think they count each apartment as a lot.

There not going to that apartments are not lots they are shells.

they can but they don't want to . each world is divided into neighborhoods each neighborhood is divided into lots with loading screens in between. they don't want to increase lots so they don't raise standards like they did with Winderburg, so people expect the lowest of the low.

As far as the climate goes Mexico is normally hot so expect a warm world with no snow.
I hope, but I'm not optimistic.
