Build/Buy Collection Folders.

In the Sims 3, we could create collection folders so we could build a set of objects that had a similar theme from other packs, or simply content we liked most. For example you could create a folder for all your fav objects that had an industrial theme, Mid Century Modern, etc.
It would be a great way to organize our favorite objects and separate out others of which you are not so fond.

Also, you could look up hard to find but often commonly used objects quickly if you assigned them to a folder.

    :D I forgot about that.
I used the feature as a swatch pallet for building homes with similar styles. For example creating a new home for the Goths, by sampling all the wall and floor textures, light fixtures, and bathroom furnishings from their old house and saving them in rooms. Then I would plop the room on the new lot and sample from it.

Collection folders would be easier to use though.

I would really like the collections feature in Sims 4 too. I loved it and used it a lot in Sims 3.

Saving a room as a collection works if you have enough space on the lot to place it while you're building, but that's not always the case. A feature to make collections, or at least to "favorite" items I like to use but can never remember where they are kept would be so much better.
