I haven't updated for a long time as I hadn't wanted to. And again we're forced into doing things we don't want to. What if someone is away, and can't update before then? It's ludicrous!
What does this mean? I’m unable to use my computer for another 11 months. Does it mean I won’t be able to update my game when my computer is out of storage so I won’t be able to play again?

Your game will automatically update the next time you start it. The notice is just to give people with mods and CC time to prepare.

But how will my game automatically update if it won’t work with the EA app? We need the EA app to update and it says any version of the game before the latest update won’t work with the EA app.
I didn't get a game update, but the EA app had an update.
My app opened as normal without an update, but beside Sims 4 it said update required? Odd. I didn't do it. I went ahead and went off-line to play, as I usually do.
