I really don't like having to go on quests outside of my preferred gameplay to get any "free" rewards in the future
I agree. When I read that part, it literally made me angry for a minute. I'm not down with any of this engagement-generating nonsense. I think I'll just keep getting the free items from cc creators.
Problem solved. It looks like it might be getting rolled out selectively. I had exited my game to edit some screenshots. I got a popup on my desktop saying EA App required update. I did the update and went into my game and there was the event popup.
I've been in and out of my game all morning. I've been poking around in the App and never saw anything about it needing an update until 5 minutes ago.
Still nothing. I got the notice that the EA app required an update which I did. Went into the game nothing shows. Exited again, logged out of EA app and then back in. Started up game...nothing. So frustrating! You would think (ya right) that EA would let us know if its rolling out in waves. More EA hoops to have to jump through...

All players will get access to this Event by June 13th as part of a phased rollout. There will be no impact to receiving it a bit later as all players will have the full 5 weeks to claim the rewards.

This is a limited timed event yet we are unable to receive rewards even though we are logging in and participating as instructed.
I've cleared the cache and tried with/without mods, etc. and nothing works so far.
