Better Cooking Menu

I think that the food menu for cooking meals is really getting cluttered. I would really like an option to choose meals by ethnicity. It would really make it easier for me to choose Japanese food in Mt. Komorebi, English food in Henford-on-Bagley or Thai food in Tomarang. The list is so long it sometimes takes me a while to find the food I am looking for.

I want a rehab on the whole thing. If I had my way I would do a refresh on Get to Work move Baking to Base Game replace it with a Perfumery Skill so that you can make Perfumes, Soaps and Lotions. Add Bakery & Perfumery to Community Lots and move to fixing the food.

I'd then move anything you could reasonably consider Baking to Baking recipes. Then I'd make it so that you can Search based on Alphabetical order, By Category - Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Dessert and Appetizer I'd make Country of Origin included apart of the information you can read in the recipe.

Sims by its very nature can be a bit educational if they spend just a teensy bit of extra time.

I'd also add these plants into the game. This will round out the recipes already offered and make them slightly more accurate
    • Broccoli
    • Butternut Squash
    • Cucumber
    • Dill
    • Ginger
    • Grapefruit Tree
    • Green Onion
    • Lavender
    • Lime Tree
    • Oregano
    • Peach tree
    • Romaine Lettuce
    • Rosemary
    • Orange Tree
    • Portobello Mushroom
    • Sweet Potato
    • Thyme
    • Zucchini

I'd also add a Spice Rack in Game and make these Spices purchasable in addition to the ones already for sale in game
    • Allspice
    • Cardamom
    • Cinnamon
    • Nutmeg
    • Paprika

Green onion is same plant as onion, it's just the very young plant that comes up in spring. If you leave it in the ground it will mature into an onion bulb. If you leave them long enough they will even make flower and seeds. I would personally love if they made proper plant meshes for the harvestables instead of the ambiguous looking bushes.

Would you prefer Scallion dear? How about spring onion, table onion, salad onion, onion stick, long onion, baby onion, precious onion, wild onion, yard onion, or gibbon?

Never heard the word gibbon in reference to onions, had to google it. Leeks would be a good harvestable for sims and it looks and tastes like green onions.
