Okay but, will we actually be able to serve nectar and coffee from the same bar?

I really, really like what I'm seeing. Stuff that caught my attention:

    Riviera Retreat:

    -Medieval firebowl.
    -Wall torches.
    -Rocky water features.
    -Stone slabs.

    Cozy Bistro:

I'm looking forward to building an Irish pub with items from this one and a bunch of stuff from Cottage Living.

I will definitely pick up both kits at some point in the near future. Not right after release, but soon enough if the game remains stable after the patch/additional free new, fun, awesome thingie. Can't wait to see a more detailed overview of items.

Also from the blog on the website:
Find your new favorite hangout spot or enjoy a tranquil pool getaway with The Cozy Bistro and Riviera Retreat Poolhouse builds —available May 30th on The Gallery! These two amazing builds are perfect for those wanting to jump in game to explore all of the new features from both kits and to find inspiration for their own creations!

That's a great idea! I like the look of both these kits, but for this non-builder, being able to download some ready-made lots using them is really appealing :)

I’m warming up to kits, these days. None of the big packs have enticed me to buy since Werewolves, except for Crystal Creations. Lately, though, the real additions to my game have come through kits. I haven’t been keen on kits in the past, but lately I have picked up the Castle kit, the Goth kit and the Party kit. Both of these look good, as well, due to a more Old World aesthetic.

I like these kits! I will be getting them as I am a collector anyway. It seems like the free Kits rumor was not true after all...

I thought the nectar bottle was decor. Glad to see it's got gameplay. I think they're toasting at the table.

According to the henford hen Maxis will be uploading both of those lots to the gallery.

I do like the look of these kits, particularly the Riviera kit, much to my own surprise. Stucco! Pergola! Rocks with waterfalls! Basically, if you put a waterfall on anything I'll probably like it. I'm obsessed with waterfalls, which is why I make sure to disappear into the mountains at least once a year and hike through the ancient forests to visit my favorites. Yeah, I know these are small and domestic, but they'll look so great in my Sim yards, over small, natural pools and streams. Hmm...I wonder if they work when enlarged? Fingers crossed!

The Bistro is really cute too. The "older" style furniture always speaks to me, and more nectar options are great because my Sims are lushes. They like to get juiced and make poor life choices.

I have to ask, though... shouldn't these "romantic" themes have been included in the "romance" EP? I'm not going to riot until I know more about it, but it does seem a little sus for them to be released within a couple of months of each other and have the same theme. It brings to mind the My First Pet Stuff controversy.

Perhaps they originally planned the Romance EP world to be Paris, but then chose Amsterdam instead. The bistro stuff was already created, but would no longer suit the new EP location. So, a kit was born! :)

The Riviera Retreat kit opens the possibility at least for a world inspired by Monte Carlo. It's a long shot but it would fit with the theme of that kit.

Of course the pool kit had to release when one of my two currently active saves is in early spring (still snow) and the other halfway through a castaway challenge. Looks like the Phillips family at least will book a spontaneous vacation to a more suitable location.

From the video it looks like nectar may be added to the bar menu. Fingers crossed about that🤞🏼 Then I can take out my mod that does that. Good game update.
Both packs look incredible and I can't wait👌❤️

I definitely like the bistro kit more. I could make a nice cafe/bar french vibe with it. 😊

Liking Little Bistro Kit! French cafe vibes. 😊☕️🌞

Surprisingly I'm really looking forward to the bistro kit, it has so much 1910/1920 vibe.
