We don't have many occults yet, and all that we have was introduced in previous games. Which sometimes arguably did it better.
We could use a completely new one that you can't play in the previous games, only in Sims 4.
I think I have a few good suggestions for new occult forms not seen yet:
-Super Sim.
There would be a wide variety of powers, a branch of generic hero stuff that all super sims have access to + a branch that focuses on their specific powers. In CAS you could select it, and in game there could be a different way for each of those powers to get them, they could only have one.
Would not need to be super many, just the more common ones that could work perfectly well with Sims gameplay.
Fire powers for example could allow the sim to start fires but also put them out with a snap of their fingers, they would be immune to fire and heat too. They can put other sims on fire, throwing fire from their hands but can also extinguish other sims by pulling the fire off them and absorbing it with their hand from a distance.
They can also prepare warm meals without an oven or furnace, they just heat it with their hands.
Ice powers could let them freeze others, cause it to snow, be immune to getting frozen and frost, food in their inventory never spoils since it's cooled, they could maybe also create ice sculptures and maybe other things of ice, they could maybe also summon ice cream to share with others.
Durability/strength would also be an obvious one to have, any Sim that tries to punch them would hurt their hand unless they also have this power.
A new set of weight lifting could be only used by them, the normal machine would not improve their athletics. Normal sims could try to lift those weights and can't do it, struggling comically.
These sims can't be electrocuted, they would shrug off a meteor landing on them and various other deaths just can't happen to them. They could still drown, die of old age and other stuff that has nothing to do with their durability though.
They would have various interactions to show off their strength too, like lifting up another Sim with ease, juggling big rocks and more.
Mind control powers is another one very fitting for The Sims.
Could let them make other Sims do things, discover their traits and stuff like that. Could also allow them to change the emotional state of other Sims. Their own minds would be shielded from those influences, the spores of Strangerville won't affect them. They can also move some things around with telekinesis.
Those four would probably be enough. Other options would be something with healing or nature maybe.
Would come with a new super hero and super villain career, an active one that lets you go to either some sort of hall of justice or an evil lair, where other Super Sims hang out too and can do various stuff like answer the call, flying off or taking a jet or such to go fight crime.
Would also be possible for Sims without powers to join that career as someone who uses gadgets.
Would be a full expansion pack for certain, adding a new costume category and allowing Sims to use a secret identity or not, they can try and keep their powers hidden.
-Skeleton.
We've already had bonehilda so long, I think it could be interesting to see skeletons added as a new occult.
skeletons could have a limited selection of clothes just for them, they don't need food, sleep, don't have blood. They can however go dormant in various poses. Standing upright or laying down, or even sitting.
They could get a few necromancy powers, able to revive other sims and they could have a special relationship with the grim reaper who greets them as friends. Same with Bonehilda.
Dogs keep bothering them however, wanting their bones.
-Android.
They can use human skin but also have access to a few robotic skin tones, and attachments unique to them similar to tattoos but it just makes a part of their skin look more robotic, possibly even with glowing parts. They can have hair, but also have access to some fake hair options, some robotic eye styles too as well as normal eyes.
They can wear all clothes. They do require occasional maintenance and recharging but that are their only needs. They lack emotions so don't play that whole game. At all times they are in the 'fine' state, no matter what happens.
The pack would come with various robotic looking accesoires that any Sim can wear, but which would look best with androids. Stuff like robotic gloves, visors, boots, helmets, etc.
They can be upgraded in various ways but that would require specific materials, so would take time to fully upgrade them.

So many possibilities.
