I guess we’re getting another world where it doesn’t snow in the winter. It’s giving Italy, Spain or Mexico vibes ?

on the top left corner is what looks like a phone with a heart on it. I think it's a dating app.

While I love little ms sam's dating app, I dont like scrolling through everyone even those not eligible or likely for dating. I hope they add a dating app that has a lot of development to it.

Grump's Fruity Sim Dating App is also fantastic but again same issue with married sims, or sims who might not usually be interested. It needs a system where sims are not reacting superficially but have an attraction system embedded and strict moral preferences.

Other mods like Wonderful Whims, and ect... have preference systems and attraction systems but are too difficult to set or broken and also random. I hope they do a good job. In general sims are like an open book, so it will be tricky.

Why are there grids under the buildings ?

Will we be able to edit the neighborhoods soon (add/resize/remove lots) ?

It's about time we got a romance pack. I was getting tired of all the kids related packs.

if you look to the roadmap u can see that the expansion pack world is above or north to the 2 kits as we do have a compass on the top . and the 2 kits are officially based on France and Italy according to the Sims and there is a lake in between them in the road map. so this furthers prove that Amsterdam/ Netherlands and that part of Europe will be the world in the upcoming expansion pack since between the Netherlands and itlay and France there is a lake .

I'm surprised the two kits are just occupying a tiny down-right corner of this map, leaving so much to the EP. I see 3 hoods in the world, including a city to the right, a Gilbert Garden-ish hood with walking trails centered, and a romantic town square top-left. I miss seeing a wind mill and tulips, which would confirm the Amsterdam. The only detail a tad Amsterdam-ish to me would be those red roof tops. Instead I think of the Triumph Arch of Paris, and the fountain hood top-left could very well be a French town, too. I don't even think the river is hinting to channels of Amsterdam, but with the big sun it would be more like a city on a sunny coast, again like southern France. Or a Spanish city like Barcelona, even. Which could both indicate beach hotels. I'd love a French (or Spanish) world, just a bit confuzzled that we did not get it earlier with the nectar making.

it cant be on the coast since there Is no indication of such but as I said its going to be Amsterdam just look at how everything is placed with the lake in the middle separating the parisain and Italian-inspired kit . everything points towards the Netherlands and that part of Europe. if it was a Spanish world we would have seen more water and more indications but there are none. the buildings are what soever not Mexican nor Spanish . moreover look at the colors of the buildings and the overall picture , there is a lot of that red blue and white accents , the colors in the dutch flag

Yes, I came to the same conclusionhttps://forums.thesims.com/en_US/discussion/comment/18371288#Comment_18371288 in this thread because

    look at what @simgirl1010 found
Landscape puzzles from TS4 Growing Together

    Screenshot-20240513-183259-2.png

    Gilbert Gardens Arboretum-Willow Creek
    San Sequoia Bridge
    Tasteful Tulips-?
    The Countryside-Chestnut Ridge
    Warm Beachy Paradise-Sulani

That image in @simgirl1010 post is undeniably Amsterdam.
If you look at the pack. quite literally as they describe, They cross the arch and you see all these canals on the map
    54hi88m.png
It can be European City, and open to being more than one city.

It's quite possible that the lake we see in the roadmap is actually inspired by the Keukenhof tulip gardens in Amsterdam.

yes exactly though the paintings are San Sequoi for the 2 at the bottom not Willow Creek the one at the top right is probably what they thought Horse Ranch World would look like same thing for the one next to it tomarang maybe but not Sulni as there are no rocks like this on the ocean in sulani but maybe its not tomarang either hinting at a future world but the top left is definitely the new world coming

maybe but as mentioned the lake is a representation of the real lake between the Netherlands and France/Italy on the map . nonetheless, they might definitely add a lake like the one u sent to the world

Netherlands doesn't border either France or Italy. But all these countries have some pretty large lakes. Anyway, I hope sims will be able to interact with the lake, an not just for fishing.

yes true but its more about that part of Europe which is north of France and Italy and France is too the left while Italy is to the south right. same I hope we can swim in that lake because the sims team likes to lock swimming in water to island living

Don't forget Copperdale, Tartosa, Moonwood mill and Toomarang. Basically every world since the release of island, with the exception of Evergreen Harbour and Glimmerbrook, has at least one water where sims can swim. Some worlds like Henford on Bagley and Britechester have one body of water to swim in every neighbourhood while others like San sequoia and Mt komorebi just in one neighbourhood.

Most of these places are small, though. Ponds, lakes and rivers. I am still hoping to get an ocean in a more temperate climate.
