@jlapao Wow, Constantine's fashion sense makes Lil Nas X look like a Mayflower pilgrim.
-No, my almost-elderly mother, I don't think it's a good time for you to try for a baby.
-Yes, person I barely know, you have my blessing to hang out with Johnny Zest.
-No person with the mean, hot-headed and self-absorbed traits, I don't think you should get married.
The thing about castles and fortresses is that they work with so many different eras including the medieval times but there were many different variations of them in many cultures. People also kept living in them in different forms over the years, making over the interiors. British castles will often have Victorian rooms from when they were last made over and working bathrooms with hot baths. You can really use the buildings in a lot of settings and time periods.
I agree though that there should be medieval decor and fashion so that the castles are more than just building shells but that might be in the works. I'd also love to see the Renaissance which uses some of the same buildings and there were some transitions along with Medieval style. That all goes with Henford, Windenburg and some of the other worlds.
I voted arrow slits because they are mentioned in the description. Don't say we get something in the description and then not add it to the kit. And no, small gothic windows don't count as arrow slits, even if they are pretty and useful too.
But actually 'all of the above' would have been better. We needed furniture, decorative banners, torches and chandeliers,... And medieval clothing as well. In short doing a medieval theme justice requires more than one kit.
I would have loved to see the drawbridge because I feel like it's the hardest thing in the game to recreate without cc right now. There could have been an open/closed version.
All of the above plus: Castle Wish List
Spear, sword & shield racks for both wall and floor. More knight armors (to line the castle walk ways), gambesons - for sims to wear, knight armors should come in gold, black even red and have emblems denoting their affiliation. Crests, king and queen thrones, crowns - gold, silver and decked with jewels such as rubies, emeralds, diamonds, old wood benches, stone benches, medieval clothing and hair styles for all ages, sword fighting and training, medieval era furniture. Perhaps even game play that sims could be king or queen for a day and hold court. A jester outfit and maybe even a jester npc. Staffs and canes because there was a time when it was considered aristocratic to carry one. Jousting should be included and medieval games where the king and or queen could preside over and declare the winner. Large banquet tables. I stated before when we voted for the castle pack that it should be a stuff pack. There are too many things that needed to be put in and a kit is not large enough
i voted other because i think there should be clothes and hair styles for sims of both genders all ages that fits a medival castle era
male sims all ages
female sims all ages there are so many clothe on goggle that i am posting 2 to give an idea thats the style from the louis 14 king of france era
I know I'm being very nit-picky now, but the history teacher in me have to point out that neither of those outfits are medieval. I do, however, agree that it would be fun with more historical clothing, but I think those need kits of their own (one for each era or decade would suffice).
Moreover, I advise that the cart button must be destroyed!
I voted Other. I would like all the things suggested though! A working drawbridge would be very cool! 😎
I think the Castle Estate should’ve been a game pack with CAS items to make your own royalty as well and staff! Perhaps the option to make your own rules for all Sims to follow or revolt!

I think Tudor era would have been fine, which started in the Medieval period and the clothing had some intricate details and patterns for the nobles that would have been cool.

The Byzantines had some serious bling.
why only for the yellow swatches :<
also 1 tile wide door would have been nice to have for those rounded rooms that won't take any other size doors
