Yeah, neither one is really my style, so I guess I’ll just wait for the next pack(s).

so excited! It looks good. These two kits are a perfect matched theme! There is a goth club in Florida called the castle- never been but I hear it is like one.

Probably like some screenshot threads around for the Goth and Castle Kit, or whatever, I don't even care or anything.

The goth kit is tamer than I expected, but therefore also more versatile. I'll definitely use it a lot

What were they doing making a goth kit with no new hairstyles?

The Castle kit I'll spend $5 just for the arches, fences and stone floor pattern tbh. This kind of thing is also versatile and missing from the game so far
    Don't buy broken stuff

I think we would have needed some furniture and paintings/gobelins for medieval castles ...

I'm disappointed with the lack of new hair from the goth kit, but at least the castle one looks good.

Castle one is nice and I will probably get it

but I was really wishing for couple more items say for example arrow slits, big banners and flags that were in concept art

I was excited for both of the kits, but now that I've seen the items, I don't think I'll buy either.

I'm not sure what I was expecting, but neither of them is for me :(

I wish we can have lolita kit someday.

The castle kit items list doesn't look overwhelming but seeing the screenshots with the examples has me convinced. This kit is totally up my alley.

I will give the goth kit a pass, as I have done with most CAS kits. Not really my style and I am already not using so many assets in the catalogue.

This isn't something I usually grouse about but the goth items look really familiar, seem like items you could find in Get Together and Vampires. And since this isn't a style my sims are crying for in general, I think I'll skip this kit.

I was actually looking forward to the Goth kit, but I have to say I'm disappointed... Would have needed a proper fluffy mohawk and pikes for me... But yeah, it's described as "contemporary goth fashion", so I guess I'm too old...

That's quite a good timing, the next weekend I was planning to spend most of my free time on building mode in my Hogwarts save. And I needed windows B)

Will get both of them. Did vote for castle but not goth but they go well together.

This is the problem with kits. There's just never enough to do a proper theme. The goth kit seriously needs new hairs to go with it, otherwise the Sims are going to just look "normal" but in black and buckles. Goth hair is a HUGE part of the goth identity. Across all of the packs, there are some hairs that will work, but we really could have used some iconic styles for both men and women.

Also, there are so many "types" of goth fashions. This is only one of them, and it's fairly mild, like a Hot Topic Nu Goth/casual version but without the Tripp pants. I think there's going to be some disappointment from the cybergoths, lolita, romantics, steampunks, medieval, retro, and others.

I'm still happy for the kit, but I'm hoping they can slip in some extras maybe if we get that Grimmy/Ghost pack one day. *not-so-subtle hint-hint*.

Might actually get the goth kit, generally prefer this style over grunge (mainly comparing them cause both have kits) and I can already see myself using those boots a lot.

Goth is about what I was expecting based on the concept art at the vote. Was I hoping for a little more variety? sure, but I think I'd actually rather have an at least semi solid single style than a few bits of several. If only because mixing and matching can at times be a pain.

Don't regret my vote for it for a moment.

The castle kit is another where I was hoping for some interior options, but I'll take a solid exterior. I can scavenge from Get together for a lot of interiors anyway.
