Thanks to the sheer amount of households spread out among the apartments, I'm usually not far from San Myshuno at all. Only base game lots match for attention.

Also I am aboslutely not picking up For Rent in any decent timeframe so I'm still going to play it.

Heck yeah, I will. One of my favorite lots I built is in San Myshuno and it's a huge apartment complex. I currently play with 8 sims from different families and I'm really excited to make actual apartments and put more people and families in there!

Didn't realize how big that lot was!

I'm definitely going to be using City Living still. Every time I start a new save I start bringing my favorite sims into the world and San M is a great place to store them. In my current save, City Living is mostly emulating apartments from Cyberpunk 2077 so I have a lot of cyberpunks there.

Absolutely! It’s still a really cool world with its own unique style along with its careers and festivals.

I already play with City Living quite a bit. I love starting my single sims off there and having them meet new sims to build relationships with and going to the festivals. I don't think I am going to put any rental lots there though. I'm more interested in creating single-family homes (and maybe some brownstones), for my sim to purchase and rent out. I am only playing For Rent with one sim as the landlord and trying to make her wealthy. I'd like her to be able to have rentals be her sole business.

Ok well since they don't allow penthouse residential rentals (grr) what does that leave available... the ground-level lots I guess
    Waterside Warble
    Old Salt House
    Planet Honey Pop
    Skye Fitness
    Casbah Gallery
I think that's all? Myshuno Meadows is locked as a central park

Is the pool lot considered a penthouse?

I still like a lot of the apartments in City Living, and the Spice District is one of my favorite areas in the game. So, I will definitely keep using City Living.

I will still be playing with San Myshuno.

I already moved one of my apartment dweller families out to a big lot in Chestnut Ridge. They moved up from a mobile home in Oasis Springs, to an apartment in San Myshuno, now in Chestnut Ridge they will have room for horses and to expand the family a little. The child I have in the family will sure enjoy getting marbles and inviting his best friend over to play.

I had plans to move a couple of my single guys from Willow Creek to an apartment in San Myshuno. There used to be 8 single guys in one home, but as we got additional packs, and my sims moved up in their jobs, I moved some out to live with partners, and/or start families. I have one apartment set up for the two ( that were left in the house ), in San Myshuno, but they may make a detour and I may move them to Tomorang for awhile. One is a CEO and the other is a Secret agent, so, that might make sense.

There is one additional family I plan on moving out of San Myshuno because she is a cook, and gardens ( believe it or not I actually fit fruit tree’s in their apartment…. lol ). I’m going to move them somewhere (not an apartment ). not sure yet where, but somewhere she can have a green house, and room for a chef’s hustle stand, and they can have room for a couple of children. I was really hoping for a Middle or South American world to move them to, similar to Jungle Adventure. But, I’m going to have to evaluate where the best place for them might be.

I will be moving some premades in all worlds to some apartments to free up some space for non residential lots.

One of my plans for San Myshuno is to make the big Penthouse a big retail store, maybe with an arcade, and the baseball court and pool left there. Right now the Landgrabbs ( with both sons ), a Butler, a live in maid and a live in cook live there. These people also help them run a couple Businesses ( I cheat with their businesses ). But, I fixed up an apartment in San Myshuno for them to move too. A big city can’t be left out of having a retail business, as it has for all these years.

I left the Spice districts Karaoke Bar there, but changed one of the Karaoke rooms to room for a parent with a toddler. Outdoors is a swing, a sandbox, tables and chairs and a tarp with toys. Upstairs I added a Scout room my for my Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts. I made a basement with a huge play area for toddlers, and a good size laundromat. Just after the patch was out I sent one of my sims to the laudermat, and noticed all kinds of sims were in the upper scout room playing games and things. Kids dressed up in scout uniforms as well.

The Salt house in the Spice market is now a 3 story Eco community lot. Marked as community garden, I left the original house there, but changed the bedrooms to activities. .I need to remember to take the computers from upstairs away next time I have a baby shower there though, as during a baby shower everyone wanted to go up there. Some of the rooms have activities like wood working, candle making, floral design, etc. There is a room also for children and toddlers to play in upstairs too. I also have a divided basement. The largest part with Science stuff and other Similar activities. The other part is set up for a business conference with a podium, and a debate room, with an office and a receptionist area leading into them. Other than the baby shower, the last time I went there, people were not only gardening, but were also selling things at the tables. My sim was able to buy all kinds of dyes and things to make candles.

My arts center in San Myshuno has been expanded in the arts district to include a lot of other things as well, some things from get famous, lots of instruments, and besides Easels it has several of the children’s drawing tables and toys for toddlers.

I still want to do something with the stargazer lounge, make an indoor pool area with part upstairs lounge I think, I will still have a bar there, and maybe some other activities. it’s much too cold for an outdoor pool in winter. And it seems I’m always stuck playing my San Myshuno sims in winter. Infact, I may make my Garden area at the Salt house Eco Community lot into a large greenhouse so it can be more easily used in the winter when it’s freezing too. Maybe we will get a hotel pack where we could use the Stargazer lounge as a hotel, then I could use my other smaller pent house for something other than a rental.

Oh, and I forgot to mention, the Karaoke bar in the Fashion district also has a toddler play center and a bowling alley in the basement.

So, I will still definitely be using San Myshuno.

@SheriSim57 if you mean the large lot in the Fashion District that has a pool inside it, yes that is a penthouse!
The one in Uptown with a pool on the bottom floor is an apartment.

Thank you, the one I was referring to I believe is called the stargazer lounge, that would be a penthouse lot I’m assuming then.….. ok well I will just have to go with an inside pool I guess, a bar, and lounging area then, maybe with some game rooms and an eating area. I did see someone built a second story on it, I’m assuming there are 3 stories you can build on it.

@AlanSims @AncientMuse - I uploaded that lot. It's called Washington Heights or you can find it under my username Mstybl95. No CC, 8 apartments, mostly small. If you use mods, it functions with LittleMsSam's Auto Employees mod - a barista, mixologist, and massage therapist will be able to spawn and function. Unfortunately, it's hit or miss on whether anyone is out of their apartments, but there is a lot of skill building items and things to do on the lot to make up for the tiny homes.

Aha okay yes, the Stargazer Lounge is a penthouse too. And yes! you can build multiple stories on top of penthouses.

    @Mstybl95

Sounds great! I'm familiar with LMS's mod, I may just give it a try again for this lot (and other lots I plan to eventually build).

Thank you so much for sharing! :)
