Waiting for HSY to be on full half off price. They've been dragging their feet forever on that.

For Playstation, Discover University is 60% off $15.99 and all the older EPs, but HSY is 35% off at $25.99. Growing together is 35% off at $25.99. Horse Ranch is 25% off at $29.99. Cottage Living is 50% off $19.99.

I already got all of the EPs (including the upcoming For Rent, which I pre-ordered), most of the GPs (except Outdoor Retreat, Dine Out, StrangerVille, and the dreaded Journey to Batuu), all of the SPs, and most of the kits (except Courtyard Oasis and Modern Menswear), so I'm not gonna buy any more packs this year (maybe, I haven't decided yet), but I hope that the Black Friday sale will be a good one though. ✨

I love Outdoor Retreat. It was the first pack that I repurchased. I almost paid full price for it, but held back when I struggled to learn to use the controller. At first, I did not know that I could use a mouse with console. The day that I learned that I could use a mouse, I also found out that Outdoor Retreat was on sale. I was so excited. I love collecting the herbs and bugs to make herbal medicines.

I bought Strangerville when it was the cheapest way to add a laptop to my game. I play Strangerville as an extension of Oasis Springs instead of as its own world. I like how the weird bits stay right there and do not leak out into the rest of the game.

I want to get StrangerVille because I want to play through the story and as for Outdoor Retreat, I want to have the camping experience with my Sims, especially since we got sleeping bugs now, which were included in both Growing Together and Horse Ranch. Dine Out is a maybe, but Journey to Batuu, Modern Menswear, and Courtyard Oasis are definitely a BIG nope for me. 😅

I would love if everything got put at 50% off, including kits. At least the kits that are over a year old, please! There's honestly a few kits that caught my eye but I just can't justify the price of them vs. the amount of content you get.

@Sheepiling Oh I hear you, about the kits! I was flabbergasted about how many there are now! I just didn't realize...It would be AWESOME if some of them (Like, as you said, the older ones for example) went on sale! There's so many I'd like to have, but at five dollars a pop, that's a bit much...

Growing Together. But I'm not going to buy it unless it's at least 50% off. If not this Black Friday, then maybe for Christmas, we'll see.

Other than that, I already own all the packs I want, which is technically everything except Toddler Stuff, Journey to Batuu, and most kits. I'll get Home Chef Hustle someday, but the pizza oven is the only thing I need from it, so it can wait.

So far there's 2 kits that I haven't purchased. I don't think they will ever go on sale. I'll purchase kits as I find use for them. No point in buying things if I'm taking a break for other games.

Other than For Rent, I have everything already. I wanted to wait for a sale with Horse Ranch but they started doing bonus items again at some point. I'm a fool who wants all the things.

And it's Black Friday sale and it's STILL not on full 50% off. *pterodactyl screeching*

I believe that Cottage Living might actually be the last pack I purchased. I enjoyed the pack immensely and is one of my favourites still. I used to get almost every pack that came out, but I think I got to a point where I don't feel I need to get every single pack. That might have been because of the barrage of kits, and eventually the same thinking extended to the larger packs. I missed out on all the packs released between 2022 and 2023, but none of those packs felt like a must-have. If heavily discounted, I may still get Growing Together, Werewolves or Horse Ranch this year for the extra worlds and build items. Certain other packs, such as high school, wedding and Batu are a pass for me, I think.

Right now For Rent is top of the list for me for the world and ability to have multiple households on the same lot, but it will probably be some time before this pack is offered at a discount.
