I noticed that I get more calls in new saves than in long-running saves. I wonder if additions or fixes to the phone call system, like the recent fix to invitation calls, only affect saves that started after the additions/fixes were made.
@mightysprite I think you might be right. I haven't really noticed any changes to phone calls in my game since the latest update. I was hoping I'd get invitations to parties in Windenburg again, but there's been nothing. (Though I have been getting plenty of extra calls from Eleanor Sullivan, but that's a known bug.)
@FreddyFox1234 Yeah, I just got my first Windenburg party invitation in forever! and it was in a brand-new save for trying a scenario that I started the other day.

I can save you the trouble. I recently had to move my Sims into a fresh save. I did use the same saved files, but so far, nothing. Unless you count the invitation to a pre-Prom party?
@GalacticGal Ah, that’s a shame. I don’t think I was realistically ever going to get round to it, so it’s useful to know there probably wouldn’t be any point anyway. I think I’ll just stick to starting any new households (in worlds I don’t yet own) in new saves, and maybe they’ll get the invitations at some point.
Can infernate even kill on community lots? For some reason no matter where I go, if its not at home, my witch's fire under the feet strat just has Sims walk off the fire perfectly fine.
@Brd709, I think you can. It seems like I've done that with my twins in my alien legacy. There was a glitch with the lockers, and I had them drop out to try to fix the issue (it didn't fix it). Their parents did react to them dropping out though. I can't really remember what exactly happened with that. I think there might also be a cool-off period but again, I can't remember.
Since I didn't buy Horse Ranch, I sort of am ready for another one. Of course I won't have a lot of time to play it because of work but I have days off.
How can I move a save from one of my computers to another? I tried everything that was supposed to work, even the people I know whose job it is to do stuff like that said that I did everything right, but it didn't work! It shows up in my save file but not in the game. Technically all of my saves are in the save files on both computers, but, they don't show up in game. Anyway. So I don't really know what to do. I put most of my families onto my online gallery so that I could have them on the other computer (yes, that's why I uploaded them lol), but, it just makes me sad because upstairs I have them all situated in their houses and their relationships are already fully built and etc etc. I just can't get into it, starting a new save. The thing is that I like building upstairs better because it's a desktop that acts as a desktop, but my computer chair is purely for aesthetics and is soooo uncomfortable. so I like sitting on the couch with the tv computer better, to play. lol.
Is there a way to do this that I haven't tried, or is it hopeless? Sorry about being so chatty.

I don't know where to post this but I was sitting on infinite long loading screen until I checked and found the two big ones- Mc Command Center and UI cheats have a new updated version of their mods. If I could relieve any fustration for some who may not know.

I have always transferred my entire Sims 4 game Folder via a flash drive. Try that, if you haven't already. I have never streamed a game before. Do you still use the EA app? Is streaming a must for you? My advice may be useless then. So sorry.

But if you connect to EA app then your game should already be there, or do you mean you need the saves file on your other computer. That's kind of a must, I think. Like, rugs are missing, etc? It's very strange, I'm not sure why that is happening for me, but it makes me wonder how things are downloading for other people if they aren't downloading for me correctly.

side note. did we get an update this week? I have this issue with screenshots not working properly in game only. Was there a new settig set up changed?
I set up the photo per usual, no cursor visible, but when I make the click fo rthe photo to be taken, a cursor shows up, only to ruin my screenshot.
example:
I got of the phone with apple - and after troubleshooting, they say it's something in game. It was not like this last week. I literally had to take videos in order to play it on quicktime to get screenshots without the cursor. Something I do not want to do, as it takes too long and too much space.

If you used the move objects cheat when building, but don’t use it when placing the lot from your Library, it will remove anything that was place with it. Scaling down rugs with MOO is typically the culprit for me. I try not to use MOO for interiors.
If you don’t use MOO or scale objects, then I have no idea what else it could be.

Nectar shows up in lounges as well, to properly get your sims dazed. I have to check the bars next.
