A fairly small but very useful thing would be an update to the various venue types:
Less required items, more recommended items.
More pack integration
Go over what NPCs choose to do when there so it's appropriate
Give the option to set uniforms for employees like we can with restaurants
At the same time they could add a few more lot traits: dress codes, who spawns and so on.
Add a ticket box and ticket counter/desk that you could add to any communal lot that would charge you for going into said establishment. Would be great for nightclubs, gyms, pools, museums/art centres...
And multipurpose lots. Please multipurpose lots.
Moreover, I advise that the cart button must be destroyed!
I’d love to see a reason to use museums as others have suggested. I’m always looking for new careers.
I think a career as a museum guide would be great. I would like to see it as an active part time career ( not a rabbit hole ).where you can choose days you want to work, and which museum you want to work at that day. You could guide people to pairings, sculptures etc. and talk to the tourists about them. Maybe there could be a special object a guide interacts with to begin a tour, that lasts about 1 or 2 hours at a time, so sims could take a bathroom/food//fun break, before beginning again. ( or maybe guiding would make those things lower at a slower rate.l ).
If the museum has a easel, and if someone has a high enough painting skill they could teach painting lessons there to others, maybe as a freelance active career at a museum of your choice. There could be a special interaction with the easel at museum to teach lesson, and they could make money the same way as a person being a DJ does.
I also like someone’s idea of high schoolers being able to take a field trip at a museum, or be able to go to a museum on the weekend for a few hours to earn extra credit or as a replacement for homework.
Museums are base game too….. so what good idea others had!
I would really like to see more ideas on this one!
I'd like to see two autonomy options added so we have more options than full autonomy or none at all.
-One makes sims only seek to fulfil needs that become yellow.
-The other makes sims only seek to fulfil needs that become red.
This would solve the issues with them keep trying to spam interactions they don't need to do at all. I hate it when I have to beat three other sims away from a computer when I want another to use it.
Later on they can afford more computers for sure, but when there's only one in the house it's a big problem.
-Sims should NEVER automatically do what they dislike.
There simply is no reason for that. If a sim hates cooking, they should grab a quick meal when hungry. If they hate the music that is playing, they should change it to what they like before starting to dance to it instead of getting 🐸🐸🐸🐸 at choosing to do something they hate. No one made them do it.
Same for seeking out to listen to another sim playing the violin in their room when they hate the violin. at most they could walk in there to ask that sim to stop playing instead of standing there hate listening to it.
-More facial hair.
It's a small thing but there's like 2537892589 make up options, yet so few facial hair options. Add something in a free update, like maybe bring back facial hair from sims 1 and 2? They have a lot of options we don't have now.
-A new trait.
Instead of pack specific traits, it could maybe be nice to see a general purpose trait be added available to everyone.
There's so few traits in the game compared to sims 3 that any additions would be welcome.
I'm pretty sure sims 3 had more traits in the base game than sims 4 has currently with all expansions.

Never is a strong word. I'd rather my sims cook something poorly than see them starve to death. Or at least try to get food from elsewhere if the fridge is empty. Like order pizza.
Why cook if they can just grab a quick meal? They would not starve, they could get a sandwich that way or put something in the microwave if they have it.

Maybe they don't have a fridge? Also, I don't really like how quick meals are always available. Anyway, maybe it might be better if they just get a bad moodlet from it.
I’d love a museum update! As is, my sims practically never go to museums since there’s nothing to do there. All they can do is view objects, which gets kind of boring.
lunch hour for workers in get to work- poor lab co-worker pointed to her mouth to me, as if she is hungry.
so I designed this in the science lab real quick-intended to feel sterile
Screenshot 2023-10-14 at 12.40.29 PM by leucosia x, on Flickr I also with autofill employees like cafeteria workers, cafe baristas and additional bars, and other spots in venues like front desk... make the places come more alive.
Would like indoor cloth category you can put to autonomous switch in and out of when leaving indoors.
Also would really like ability to choose not to get a lot at start of the game, but instead be able to live completely as homeless.
Think it should be possible to do if features such as go home was just greyed out till you own a lot, then maybe taxes were just based on value of inventory. Essentially same as it currently if when owning empty lot.
If there are going to be vehicles, then I would like a motorcycle.
Now, if there are going to be motorcycles, I would like pet enabled motorcycle sidecars, because pets need transport too.
Allowing us to cook the food that's in University Life like the avocado toast, cinnamon rolls and the stuff at the food stalls like they did with City Living. And a option to buy the energy drink you get playing E-Sports, I feel like there should be a vending machine for it.

@synth_double04 There might be a mod for that. I found a mod that unlocks certain packs for restaurants and discover university is one of them.
long show coats for the smaller breeds like Maltese, Yorkies,
Shih Tzu, Lhasa Apso, Havanese, Pekingese, Sily Terriers,... Why did they forget that- it the way the dog is meant to be. I had custom content for a showdog maltese in Sims 1 - surprised you can customize dogs in Sims 4.
Also, Show dogs. Whats the point of all the obstacle course objects and training dogs if there is no way to show them. Would be cute!

It should be an update but there is this mod @synth_double04 I also read Little Miss Sam has a mod that does the same

2.Walk more than one on a leash dog
3.Take children trick or treating
4. Mixed use lots- like allows commercial use for part of lot, as well.
