@SERVERFRA you can post pictures of your worlds on the forum. You can take a screenshot in game with the c key on your keyboard. If you are using a Windows computer, your screenshots will be in your computer's documents folder, under Electronic Arts > Sims 4 >Screenshots. You need to use an image hosting site, like Imgur (which is what I use since it's free.) You just sign up on the imgur website. After you sign up, click your username in the upper right corner of the screen, and select "images". On that page, click the green "Add" button and select the picture you want to share. After you add them, you can post them to the forum by clicking on them and copying the link for the BBCode on the right side of the menu (In the picture below, I've circled it) Just paste that link into the forum just like you were writing regular text and the picture will show up.
If you need a more detailed explanation, I'd be very glad to help. I took me a while to figure out how to post pictures myself.
As I have been building my Sci-Fi save today (which has been mostly downloading lots from the Gallery so far), I haven't really found much need to look for CC. There are actually a lot of sci-fi type items available in vanilla, and I don't even have any of the Sci-Fi Packs like Batuu or StrangerVille.
Just an update on my sci-if save. I’ve decided that rather than doing an entire save to start with, I’m just going to focus on making Oasis Springs into an alien world. I’m planning a story where some of my aliens will go to earth to learn more about humans. So I’m planning to leave most of the other worlds as “earth” and some as “space”.
One question though: If (and this is a big “if” since I have a lot going on this month) I end up posting continuing story updates, where should I post them? I know there are two “what happened in your game today” threads, but the original one seems like a lot to keep up with, as I can’t always read everyone’s stories or reply to everyone. It’s not that I wouldn’t want to, just that I’m not on the forums that often, and when I am, I’m usually not on for very long. Im not sure about the other “non serial story” thread either, since what I’m going to post is more of a longer “story” than what people usually post there. I’ve thought of using a thread in the stories forum, but I’m not sure if that would be the correct place either, since most of those stories seem a bit longer and more detailed than what I’m planning. I’m honestly a bit lost as to where to post. Any thoughts or suggestions? Which thread do you think would be best?
@MrPlumbob in the 'what happened in you game today thread' are a lot of people who can't keep up.
The thread is there to post your updates, not to read anything there ^^'
For your readers (me , for example ) it would be nice to read your story in an extra thread in the 'creative corner'. That makes it easier to keep up even if you don't post often. And easier to scroll a few posts back to get into the story again when the last post is a while ago.
You could also link your thread and a picture of your story in your signature (that's what I do).
Basically, my game is separated into the human sim world and a magical realm called the Myst.
By the way @cyncie , I hope you don’t mind if I borrow your idea.
@Lenny_Ogg I may post in the creative corner, since I may not post that often some weeks. If I end up posting a thread, I’ll add it to my signature (and probably update my avatar too.)

I too thought Uptown in San Myshuno is a great place for sci fi lots
There are the STaCKs
And the Bofrost Skyway
And on the other skyscraper nearby lies the Space Port

Well, it was actually cyncie that mentioned grouping the worlds, so I can’t claim that it’s my original idea.

Not at all. Hope you have fun with it. Check out the Home Regions mod by kuttoe to give you control over sim travel between your worlds
