Why does my CC keep generating copies of itself?

Anyone else have this problem? My CC keeps generating copies of itself. I've got 2-6 copies of everything (and I have a ton of CC, so that's a lot of extra space in my game and on my harddrive). I've never had this issue before. Anyone know what the problem is?

I never heard of cc doing this on it's own? That's extremely weird. Are you sure you are not accidentally downloading duplicates? It's very common to end up with multiple duplicates and in one discord someone had over 5000 duplicate files. I'm at the point where I have so much cc that every time I downloaded new cc I have to use programs to check for duplicates and I always end up with some to delete.

Only other thing I can think of if you are absolutely sure that they are randomly making copies, is to delete or disable your overdrive if you have that.
That causes a lot of problems with putting back stuff you deleted or just doing weird things and I had to delete mine. You can research it and see if it might be causing your issue.

It's definitely not just downloaded duplicates. I do do that sometimes, but here It's creating copies constantly. I think Overdrive is only a Windows thing? I'm playing on a Mac.

It sounds like a One-Drive problem, and One-Drive is available on Mac. However, any cloud which "synchronizes" could do the same thing.

Hm, I do have Dropbox, maybe that's the problem. It's never been an issue before a few days ago though.
