Added the stay over for awhile feature. How do you all like it?

My sim had an interesting experience. My sim met Luna Villareal and befriended her. A few days later she calls and says her family is in a pickle and needs a place to stay for a few days. I should have had my sim just hang up the phone, but thought, why not. It was chaos. They fought and argued constantly. When they finally left, my sim took a long deserved vacation. :D

My favorite feature of the pack.

I did notice that since they released the patch after release of the game, my Sim hasn’t been asked by anyone to stay over anymore. Not sure what that’s about. Makes me curious if they toned it down or something.

Getting a lot of “can I move in” messages but no more stay overs.

I also get "can I move in" quite a lot. I think they should at least put a delay on asking things like "best friend" and "can I move in". I like it, but it happens way too fast if you have the incredibly friendly trait. At least give it a few days and not 5 minutes after they met, haha.

Oh, I bet that family needed a place to lay low for a few days. Your sim is lucky that some hired goons didn't come knocking at the door.

It's a neat feature, but I wish Sims didn't spend the entire time arguing with each other (and you) pretty much everyone staying over leaves with an all red relation to each other, and your own household.

I think it might depend on the sims that are staying over. I had 1 sim stay over one time and they got along great.

It’s probably because of how the townies likes and dislikes are set up. I think most of them got a bunch of random ones. If they don’t like a particular conversation topic or have bad compatibility with your sim I guess it will go bad fast!

Huh, TBF that can be pretty accurate to real life sometimes, though it could easily become frustrating in a game.

I have to say that my experience of having sims stay over has always been positive. It's not like that IRL!! ;)

My Sim had a baby with their first overnight guest. Now he stays over to spend time with the kid a few times a week.

I love the stay over feature. So far i've yet to have a sim bring over a long lost relative yet though.

I have loved it so far.

In my vanilla save, I got a whole household inviting themselves over and it led to some funny drama. My poor single dad just wanted some help and he ended up wrangling rowdy houseguests and twin babies!

In my legacy save, it was so amazing to be able to invite the grandparents to stay after a new baby arrived. They were able to help with diaper changes and late night feedings. Probably would have been better if they didn't die from old age during their stay, but otherwise a great visit. :p
