Thank you, that's the one I have. I thought 2023.2.0 was out but I found the 2023.1.3 in my game. But the link you provided to the earlier page was what I remembered seeing. Thanks for clearing that up for me I thought I was losing my mind. LOL
I recently started playing again after not playing for at least a year. When using Risky Woohoo, does that add a new "Risky Woohoo" option to the romantic interactions section, in addition to the regular "Woohoo" and "Try for Baby" or is it still just the original "Woohoo" option? I thought I remembered risky woohoo being a separate interaction in the romance category, but I don't see it anymore.

Hey. I'm trying to make sims generate with certain hair styles and I white listed them in 8 colors. I added the B.F.YA,*,All in the config but sims still wear all hairs. It worked with clothes though. I also tried to add B.F.YA,*,2,All but it still didn't work. Do hair function differently? Thanks
Am i right in thinking if i keep my settings file, those settings will transfer over the latest version of MCCC when i update?
Yes, that's right.
I have to add here, that sometimes it does become necessary to reset that file, depending on just how old it is. Just keep that in mind. For the most part, however, settings are saved when said file is transferred.

That's weird. I've been playing with the same config file since I first downloaded MCCC back in 2016 and it's never been necessary to reset it.

As long as you don't try to edit that file manually there is no need to reset/replace/delete it. If new features are added with a new MCCC version, your existing mc_settings.cfg file will be automatically updated. There is no need for any action.
But as I said before: NEVER open it in an editor and try to change the values manually!
All changes must be made through the MCCC menus found on a computer/sim/mailbox.
If you think there is a need for a MCCC reset to default values use the following command from a sim's MCCC menu: Sim:MCCC > Reset Settings > Reset ALL Settings
You might also rename your existing cfg file into something like mc_settings.cfg.old to have a future reference or fallback option. After renaming the cfg file the mod automatically creates a new cfg file with all the default settings during game launch.

Oh, I never try to edit a thing. I am horribly inept when it comes to things technical. I just have noticed that some of the features I had enabled with the prior version of MCCC were suddenly changed. For instance, I discovered my Sims were again, subject to emotional deaths. This scared me as my favorite Sim had gone hysterical as a YA (no longer protected by his Teen status) and something inside me had me check my settings. Indeed, emotional deaths were reset to happen. I immediately turned it off, of course, and I held my breath wondering if I had acted in time. Not to be a Debbie-Downer, but if it can happen to one person, can it not happen to others, too? I have no idea of why this happened to me, but I can say that every so many updated versions, I have to reset the cfg, too. Despite having dragged the older on into the new version.

There have been no errors reported so far after that EA update.
Everything seems to work as expected.
