Drama drama drama, yes. The big secret is out. Rohan knows. Now we have to see what Yadira will do next.

I've seen this story pop up multiple times over the last few months and it's always seemed really interesting, and then every time I'd stop because it seemed it had been discontinued. But it's back again! Yay! 😁

I read the summary, and gosh, now I need to go back and read the whole thing, don't I? My brain wants all the details. It's going to take me a fair bit of time to keep up, but I'll get there eventually! In the meantime, amazing premise and weirdly reminiscent of what the world has recently gone through. I bet that was a strange thing to unintentionally foreshadow 😮

Right. See you when I'm all caught up!

I have a horrible habit of disappearing for months on end. I know I lose people for doing this, but it's just how I work. Or ... don't? Odds are always good that I'm GOING to come back eventually, though. I don't typically abandon projects unless I've lost everything.

Thanks for reading the summary! I had a bit of fun writing it. You can read the whole thing if you want, but you don't have to. There are bits and bobs in the actual chapters that I failed to put in the summary, but they're mostly entertainment stuff and not crucial to the plot.
Wait, YOU'RE talking about having lots of chapters to read? LOL. One of the things I love about coming back are the loads of chapters. I'm having a blast reading ToC, and I kinda hope I never run out of chapters.

Yes, that was very odd. What was even odder is that someone else had to point that out to me because I didn't catch it at first. Then I'm like wha? Crazy.
    No rush. :)

@mypalsim1 Haha, looking at my chapter page, that's more than fair 🤣 I for one am looking forward to finding out the side entertainment of After the End as much as the main plot 😄

@_sims_Yimi I think it's great the number of chapters you have. I'm getting a little anxious that I'm quickly reaching the "I'm all caught up" point. I totally understand having tons of chapters, though. My Chain Reaction legacy has hundreds, and I'm only on gen 4. (That's another one that will come back... I'm just more interested in Alicekai'd and After the End right now).

I just started this and I'm really enjoying it so far! Really really interesting concept and the timing of the releases is so spooky!

I wonder do I sense a bit of a Hiberno-English dialect from Rohan? As someone from Ireland I'm always trying to sniff out anything that feels familiar haha. Every time I read his dialogue I give him an Irish accent and I wonder was that the intention? Love it.

@hellohannah2 Hi there! This is so cool because I have your story lined up as my next read!

So glad you're liking Rohan because...
WEEEEEELLLLLL.... As far as he goes, it's an ATTEMPT. lol. Idk. When I was starting his character, I was listening to Irish YouTubers (Jack and... Jack lol), and it kind of snuck in there. So, I went with it. I apologize if I totally screw it up. Eh, we could say things change a bit in the future what with the whole "people gotta mix now" thing. Just wait 'til you get to Orion. Plumbob only knows what I was thinking, but, oh no wait, I remember. I was watching a Scottish drama about two "old" dudes (Still Game I think). I had to turn on subtitles lol.

Anyhoo, now, I'm really nervous. If you see I've blundered badly, point it out. I'll fix it. Trust me, it really irritates me when someone screws up my accent, the American Southern accent (happens A LOT), and I'd hate to irritate someone.

Thank you so much for reading. I really hope you continue to enjoy it. :D

@mypalmsim1 oh my gosh no don't be nervous about it! It's completely fine, I really don't care if something is off (and it hasn't been), I'm just happy to see some representation that isn't pushing hurtful stereotypes and insisting we're a crowd of drunk farmers with no electricity lmao. I just met Orion! I read his accent as Scottish straight away! My boyfriend is actually half Scottish so I know it well. I think it's fun that you're going for different dialects! I have an American character in my story and I got so worried about messing up the speech rhythm that I chickened out and made him half Irish. We're all just doing our best haha

I certainly am enjoying it! I'm glad there's a nice chunk to get through and indulge myself in

@hellohannah2 Okay then. Good. Because I'm bound to screw up somewhere. And LOL on the stereotype thing. Oh boy, you met Orion. I go back and forth on whether or not I like the guy. I suppose that's normal. I do my best to write what I 'hear' without it looking totally ridiculous. Just wait til some characters make an attempt to do a different accent for... reasons. It makes me cringe but not necessarily in a bad way.
Aw, you should go for it. Maybe strike a stereotype for gicks and shiggles. You know, like, oh my god! You could totally do a valley girl. lmao. That might actually have me in tears. At any rate, I pull from television and YouTube, so if it's wonky, its their fault.

I always love a good chunk of reading material. I do my reading while working (I do food delivery mostly. lots of down time), and I'm looking forward to possibly tomorrow. :)
