    • What do you do when you find out your Sim's spouse is cheating on them?

    I'm wondering what other players do when they find out their Sim's spouse/partner isn't loyal. I usually invite over both of them and wait for the partner to make a wrong move. I once even went to my sim's boyfriend's house where he lived with his wife and 2 children and started flirting with him and when the wife dumped him I made my Sim also dump him and left him with nothing.

      If my sim was flirting with a townie or other random sim that's not apart of my other households, I delete that sim.
      However, if my sim was flirting with one of my other household sims I Modify the relationship so that they dislike each other. >:);)

      It's only happened once in my game. My sim's boyfriend flirted with her mother. I immediately went into manage world and deleted him.

      I haven't had it happen very often because I always kept an eye on their queues especially when they were in public and flirty. I used to be focused only on one household per save until I got into rotational play recently. If a romantic interaction I didn't want came up I cancelled it. If it was something that happened while I wasn't looking I'd delete the other sim if they were a random or modify their relationship if the flirtee was a sim I wanted around. I've put a stop to it with Chingyu's Faithfulness mod, which is also a romance autonomy mod too. I can make my sims committed and faithful or they can be cheaters, totally down with anyone, anytime, anywhere.

      Dani you've just given me a new mod to download! While I like the realistic aspect it adds to my game, sometimes I want them to be faithful. Thank you for mentioning it :smile:

      I'm happy I could help.🙂 The mod works great and I swear by it. It is a must have if you want totally faithful sims. I have not had any unwanted cheating or flirting. In my romcom story all three of my main couples have done the interaction where they pledge to be faithful. Once they do that it grays out the romance socials with any sim other than their partner. The only loophole I see, and it may have been closed up with the most recent version of the mod, is flirty introductions. Those are still available but I don't recall ever seeing a sim autonomously do anything other than a friendly, or occasionally, a rude introduction.
