Since "Woohoo", "Kiss" and "Be romantic" are Club Activities, maybe Maxis should add Sexual Orientation in the Club Requirement.

Agreed. I love the clubs and use them frequently, but it could do with updates in various ways, including with the sexual and romantic orientations.

It seems this feature is able to detect the current romantic preference and automatically check the boxes in CAS for the "curious" sims.

It's been a few years since I've played, and this addition was a pleasant surprise when I started playing this week! Love how I can set if a sim gets pregnant or get someone else pregnant. I've used mods in the past to have male sims carry babies, and will enjoy not needing a mod anymore. I do wish a sim could have both options at once instead of having to pick either/or. Enjoying the pronouns and look forward to using the different body types and clothing to create transgender sims!

Just to clarify, if a sim has sexual orientation- romance: No One and Romantic Exploration: No, does that mean they would not be interested in dating, getting married, and having biological children through woohooing?

I'm doing a legacy challenge and struggling to find a good husband for my current heir. Third sim I looked at, and wondering it this is a strike out, too?

Don't get me wrong, I love this addition to the game (with multiple orientations!)! Just trying to make cute babies and not happy with any of the current male sims, and the ones I keep choosing turn out to be a no go, LoL.

You are partly correct, that means they're not interested in romance/dating/marriage.

What are the woohoo interests? Those are separate from romantic interests. It's possible to have a woohoo partner who's not a romantic interest, and to have a baby with the woohoo partner.

But for you, why not try the new Science Baby feature? A sim can do that either on their own, or with another sim who is just a friend. That's a good route to having cute babies without roping in a possibly-unwilling dating relationship

To be clear Woohoo partners can't Try for Baby.

Wishing Well (Child), Alien Abduction (Male pregnancy) and Adoption service are the other options.

Do you use mods ?

I don't have this option, only Woohoo with a bed. These 2 new sims are best friends/good friends.
Both have Romance: No One and Romantic Exploration: No

According to a Reddit comment if the sims had a Romance relationship earlier, Try For Baby is unlocked.

For "My Sim is exploring romantically" could be a part of Self Discovery.

The sims would keep on exploring until they figure out what they want, a popup could ask to the players if they want to turn off or not the romantic exploration.

You know what I have really, really liked in Sims since, from memory, Sims 2?
That sexual orientation just WASNT a factor. I could have Sim A initiate romantic interactions with men only, then half way through play have them initiate romantic interactions with a woman and it was utterly un-comment-worthy.

Which is how I wish sexuality to be!

Pansexual Sims is the only kind of Sims I want!

If Aromantic sims get married in CAS, it will unlock Romantic interactions for this couple.
It could be a way to say "I'm attracted by nobody except this person".

In Live Mode, Aromantic wedding isn't available.
