As luck would have it, some kind Sim delivered a strawberry cake to Wyvern Hall. Erik placed it on the once again empty countertop where their hotpot used to sit. I'm not replacing it again. Then placed candles on top. Erik then beeped both his brother and Kayleigh out of bed. Kayleigh emerged from her room to blow them out. Joey was slow in getting out of bed, but couldn't get close enough to even taste the frosting, which he had a mind to do. Others had clustered in front, blocking his path. Luckily, nobody had taken a piece by the time he reached the counter. So he was able to place additional birthday candles on it and to blow them out. He and Kayleigh were now Young Adults.
The next day, Erik was busy chatting with Aaron. The two were planning a gathering for Brianna. Today was her birthday. They each had three days left of this term. Erik didn't want Brianna's moment to slip by them, since everyone else had their moment. Aaron dashed off to class. Erik was busy checking his emails and text-messages on his phone. Diego Lobo was suddenly standing before him. "Gosh, you're even better looking in person. I think I love you," Diego said. "Marry me?" "Sorry, I'm already taken, but I think we could be friends," Erik said easily. He was growing immune to the proposals. Ever since he was a young teen on the rise and the Paparazzo, an Elderly woman, proposed to him at his Meet & Greet. At that time, Erik was unsure how to receive such an offer. He was certain he blushed all kinds of vibrant shades of red.
They took their sister to The Old Home Bar & Grille where, once again, they were shown into the private room upstairs. They also had two of their dormmates with them to help celebrate. They had a very nice meal, with a fantastic Van Haute Meloire. They all returned to the dorm. Erik finished up his homework, gave a concert, sat a photosession and released his seventh album, Four Chords to Destiny. Two days left in the Term.
@GalacticGal, perhaps you have answered this question before, maybe even many times, but I have never seen it addressed: what style is Erik's music? You regularly give song titles, and I have recently found myself trying to imagine him actually performing them and realized I don't know what it would sound like. Although I'm sure he's one-of-a-kind, is there an irl artist he would like to be compared to?
I consider him a Rock Star. I suppose if I tell you which songs on the Karaoke machine he sings at his concerts, you might get an idea. He nails Hotter Than Sin, and always closes with Night After Night. In many ways, the Karaoke machine is more Pop driven. But he has such a good scream in Night After Night, that became his signature piece. He's a tenor, voice-wise. I did record a portion of his performance once. I'd have to find it in my files. I certainly have no clue how to post it, that much is certain.
I listen to the music he's writing on the different instruments and let the melodies dictate the title to me. Erik is very creative, artistic and is a Musical Genius. Oh, he and Kayleigh sound really great together when they do a Karaoke duet, under Pop. Hope this gives you an idea. Thanks so much for your interest in my character. He started out as a minor part in the mini-series in my siggie. Playing Sims has allowed me to flesh him out more. And gives me such joy.

Eleanor, one of my Vampires (Grim's granddaughter) got engaged to Margarite at Britechester.
Tried getting Margarite to join in with a small celebration, but she got stuck in a table somewhere offscreen. Meanwhile Eleanor, Violet, Audrina and Theodora hit the dance floor for some synchronised moves.

I had one of my Sims marry the Grim Reaper & now they have a lot of kids.
Erik sat pondering why it was that when you were so very close to achieving a goal, the time before seemed to drag? He was anxious to finish and be done with university. Not that he had a horrible time, but he just wanted to get on with his life. All four older adults in their lives, his and Kayleigh's had promised to support the young couple if they still wanted to be married. Erik was game. Happily, Kayleigh was also leaning into him instead of away. Just prior to their last day of classes, Erik was notified by the contractor, that the completion team had put the finishing touches of the house Erik was having built. Just in time, too. None of them were looking forward to moving back home with Mom & Dad. They'd more or less been on their own all of this time. Moving home, again, would be very strange.
After Thursday's classes, the group decided to go celebrate. they headed over to Windenburg to the Disco and they practices a group dance. Getting hungry, Erik got out his phone and made a pleasant discovery. There was a new Pizzeria in Brindleton Bay. They decided to check it out. Out in the back of the restaurant was a small pavilion. Erik asked if they could be seated out there. The night was comfortably warm, and the ocean breeze wafted through the archways, was welcomed. The food was pretty descent, too. Realizing the morning brought final exams, they opted to curtail the evening. They had just enough fun to help them unwind, which is what they needed.
Passing all of their classes, Erik set up a Keg Party. It was wildly successful and all felt relaxed and ready for the Graduation Ceremony in the morning.
At long last they gathered up their personal belongings and left Wyvern Hall for good. Come Sunday morning, they all got up and went to church. Erik did a photoshoot and then went to the Starlight Accolade Show. He was up for his Sixth Best Song. The Time Is Now didn't disappoint.

I don't know how it happened but Teddy managed to convince summer holiday to make some very poor life choices, There are now 5 of them living in that stench, Summer is trying to save enough cash to buy a BBQ drum, but Teddy keeps buying cupcakes. Summer is starting to think life on the trashfruit farm isn't all it's cracked up to be.
Austin and Abigail are now married. It was confusing switching between the two households to help Abigail work towards the soulmate ambition, with the needs being all over the place. Now they are living together I'll work on their careers and ambitions a while before they have a child.
Yesterday I finished a rushed play through of the Strangerville mystery. I’m working on base save 9million and wanted it done so I used a premade household to finish it. I may have cheated a tiny bit.

His plans for world domination feel further away than ever. The neighbours that should cower in fear seem to like him, even turning up to help tend the trashfruit. Summer thought it was cute so made them all costumes and started calling them the minions.
As for the kids they seem to be more interested in reading books they steal from school than rummaging for trash together. Summer says their light fingers could come in useful when they go to dinner at the Goths this weekend.

Hi there. I set up a poll yesterday, because I found myself too close to a wedding and the onset of a family. In other words, I should have followed my first instincts and not used the copy of Erik wherein he was already a Global Superstar. Not only that, but I thought he had written a key song, only to see it was nowhere when he went to license it! Face/palm. So, after a considerable amount of introspection and the valuable opinions of fellow players, I have decided to keep the new old save, but work on a newer save just in case it does carry me through to the dropping of the Infant Patch. That way, if it falls short, I have just a wedding to go and then voila it's baby-time. Wish me luck. I'm uncertain if I will post more than I am doing right now on my progress. I just didn't want anyone wondering where the heck did GalacticGal go? I'm here. Just sayin'. Thank you for all of your support, believe me, it's needed.
For the results of my venture, yesterday, I decided rather than spend copious amounts of time getting this fresh NEW save set up, I would simply find the 'template' save and go from there. I found it, added just a couple of builds and was very happy to add the Cantrell family to it. Erik had nary a star, although I must have saved him when he had done something to create that bar below the first star to be snuggled right up to it. No worries, that doesn't take much effort or time. I'm in a much better place having made this decision. He's written eight songs, thus far, and after the mistake I made last time, I give it a title, save, then see the notice he's written a song on thus and so instrument, then I also check the mailbox under license as that pulls up the songs written under each instrument, to date. Save again once I see it's there. Yeah, I'm almost paranoid at this point. LOL I also separated this save from the previous save of which you have the updates in this thread. There will be no accidental overwriting. (Yeah I'm capable of a lot of things. LOL)
Erik has completed his very first Meet & Greet via the RTF mod, so he's got his very first trophy for gaining a Gold at the Event. He's got a GF Fan Meet & Greet scheduled, too. He's been noticed by the Press and has done at least three photoshoots, earning him 10,000 a pop. He won karaoke Night on Sunday already and plans on competing again to keep his title. I gave the kids the two weeks of summer off, as before. So far, he's a rising star with the bar now nuzzling the B-Lister. And it's only Wednesday in my game. He's on pace, folks! Kayleigh and her family live in the same neighborhood. In fact Carina did a walk by first thing. Louise introduced herself. We'll see if Kayleigh ends up at a concert, once those start. So far, Erik hasn't recorded any music, just written a few. And that is the state of where my NEW save is. Wish me luck. I'm having a much better feeling about his save. I am having FUN.
Congrats to Freddie for winning the title of "the greatest (more or less) human disaster in his extended family". It was quite a competition, given the incest and murder being rampant there, but he has everyone beaten. And yet they all absolutely adore him.
Took a shade longer than I wanted, but young Erik Cantrell is now a Global Superstar. He has released three albums, written twenty songs and happily, still has six days before he is compelled to attend high school. With just six more songs to go, I'm feeling as if a load has been lifted from my shoulders. Oh, and he has one album packaged and ready for release. He still has two more to go, perhaps three, should I decide to drag out the college experience by having them attend for four Terms, which is yet another way to extend my gameplay as we yet have twenty-five days of waiting. Wish me luck. He placed his Tile just moments ago. Twelve Sim days and the boy is famous. LOL (Neither of the Meet & Greets were working properly, else he may have come in closer to where he was at another time.) Oh, well. Not going to grouse, just going to bask.

It all started when The Minions turned up to help on the farm again. he's so sick of their stupid grins and giggling.
Teddy tried to take his anger out on a visiting sim by moving the sitting log closer to the fire. It worked perfectly until Summer and Trisha jumped in to save the day.
He had a huge argument with Tristan, who's been sneaking out to go fishing and stinking the farm out by cooking it. Apparently, everyone is sick of eating trashfruit. Shouting at Tristan just seemed to make him worse he only went and stole a dumpster screaming " I'll show you. I'll start my own empire and make more than you ever did with my own junkyard."
Teddy decided it's time to double down he's going to cultivate this bag of trash into the most glorious trashfruit plant the world has ever seen.

*edit to add. I just did some experimenting and it turns out you can sell your kleptos stolen goods in retail stores. this junkyard gameplay just got a bit more interesting.
Adrian Cantrell, who is yet a Toddler, really loves to find Erik in his Music Room. He stands there and watches as his big brother composes music. Sometimes, he's so happy, he giggles.
I’ve been testing my new sims and ended up making a house and playing paranormal stuff for the first time. It’s really fun and interesting and actually a bit spooky. There is a spider in the pictures.
These sims need to prepare for growing together and aren’t the ones to solve this mystery but I will play this again some day. Really fun.
I couldn't fight against Austin's boredom with his job any longer, so he's quit being an athlete and will try acting like his wife. With Abigail about to audition for her first recurring role I'll move them to Del Sol Valley. I had been ignoring fame, but I'll try that for both of them.
