While I'm not sure how I feel about sharing on the gallery I figure there's no harm in showing what I've been building in my game. I realised my enjoyment is based on how much the neighborhoods fit the style I want so I've motivated myself to get things done. Since I find I'm mainly playing in Willow Creek and Dol Sol Valley those are my first projects.
This is currently how my Willow Creek looks.
This family house is where my simself lives.
This next house is based on one of those old housing articles, they called it "The Lexington Colonial". Not being especially inventive when it comes to names that's what I called it.
Then I built another Colonial style house, might call it the Vermont or the Hampshire. No idea.
I tried adjusting the Pancakes house twice and both times I hated it. So for now I moved them into the first house I ever uploaded. I have the previous house I just showed in their old lot. I thought about building a restaurant but last night decided on a Bed & Breakfast. Heres a couple of pics.
Del Sol Valley has houses with two much empty space. I thought the best way to solve one lot was to build a row of shotgun houses. Probably use roommates feature to get it to work. So this is West Grove Row.
On the other lot I built this Del Sol family home, based on a Los Angeles house.
Okay last thing. I felt Judith Ward was done dirty given the state of her house. So I built her a new one. It's called Olympus Heights.
Just about everything needs texture painting, decorating, landscaping and furnishing. I don't enjoy those things as much as building so I do it a bit at a time.
@rosemow Thank you. In some ways I think the looks of these houses might be better suited to Brindleton since it feels more NE USA, but Willow Creek has plenty of lots and a nicer layout than Newcrest even though the general theme of both is more southern USA. I guess I'll just keep building and figure out where to put them later. Also no plans for the community lots yet.
Awesome luckyheather! Looks like a lot of fun, too.

So here are new photos of my Key House build so far so you can see my progress.
**Note** I did add some rooms that are mentioned in the comics but not shown in the series. I did this to help fill out the floor plans and I tried to make them go with the house from the show. Also due to the way sets are built not everything lines up nicely with the exterior shots so I had to make tweaks to rooms and the floorplan to compensate.
Currently the downstairs is done. Full floor plan is figured out. And I have the plumbing in all the bathrooms (but no details in them yet). I have the build of the well house done but need to add details. I did however finish the cave at the bottom of the well. And I finished the first bedroom. It's Bode's. I also roughed out where the drive way will be.

Your WIP home is looking lovely! @OmniNerd42 Very great exterior design, and the interior floor plans of the levels are very nice! The furnishing of each room that you have done so far is lovely!
So not happy with this. The outside seems okay, but the floorplan just doesn't. This was from a magazine that gives floorplans, as well as front and back sketches. There is supposed to be a round breakfast nook, so I chose this one to experiment with. What I learned is the round wall tool is far too limited. We can't rotate it in order to fit up to a wall properly. So, I'm very unhappy with my results. I may yet try again. (Freudian typo I first typed het, pronounced N'yet, which is Russian for No). At the moment, my desire to build is nil. One can only bulldoze and start again so many times.
@GalacticGal I like the idea and it definitely gives the large country manor/mansion look. I think what looks odd is the overhang on that entrance pointed roof because it has no support, so I would use a octagonal roof or the half hipped. If it was me I would also change the roofing so it all flowed together better, even if that meant changing some of the building's shape to make it easier. Sometimes all those indented walls which add visual interest to the exterior make the roof planning a pain. Do you have a link to the original plan? I wuldn't mind taking a look.

I have the old magazine. I might try to scan the page, then I could upload the picture? They do call it Archival, which says to me it's on the old side. It almost looks castle-like which is what also drew me to this build. I couldn't get arches that reach as high as the ones in the picture, though. I settled for pillars, although I think I forgot I was going to extend the height. I think that's why it isn't as pleasing. I spent about three separate sessions trying to get the circular wall to work inside. I bit off something more than I could chew, apparently. I will finish up some other projects before I attempt it again. I got too frustrated and it ruined my night's sleep. Thank you for your kind comments.

This is what I meant by mental torture the other day. When you know how you want something only the game won't let you do what you want due to the limitations. So you keep trying it over and over again for hours to the point you break it or give up for the day. Arch height is an annoying limitation, as are a lot of the windows and doors. I see what you mean by Archival, some very odd designs. Just don't give up on it, sometimes I find the solution often comes to me in my sleep. Circular walls are a pain, half-circle's are much less of an issue. Kate Emerald did a really informative video on them, she said its best to think of them as curved rooms because of how limited they can be. They can work well, they just have a bunch of glitches.
Very lovely makeover of the bar! @Bonxie Very great exterior design and very beautiful architecture! Very great roofing! The flowerbox windows are pretty. The interior furnishings and layout are lovely! Very nice indoors and outside dining areas.
I wanted a home for a household with all the different occults we currently have in the game, and for both the interior and the exterior to reflect their differing styles. So I started experimenting with one of the premade houses in Forgotten Hollow, expecting it to look horrible on the outside when I'm done, but honestly, it's not even that bad... I have yet to do the environment with the farm, the swimming pool and the rocket, though, and then decide where to put the finished building. I was thinking about Henford-on-Bagley, but it kind of screams StrangerVille, doesn't it?
I created a Druid/Mage that was inspired by a Spiro the Dragon game, so now I am doing him a home in Henford on Bagley up near the waterfall. Its going to have some animals for him to enjoy like Rabbits, birds and chickens. The lowest round tower will have plants in pots to harvest for Magic.
This is Front and Back so far, I have started some of the inside and its nature colors throughout especially greens and browns.
This is how it looks now after working on it all morning.
I have no idea why Rosemow is not here anymore, I hope she is well and we miss her very much.
This is the georgian family home I have been working on recently.
I most likely won't furnish it, however i did post the unfurnished version on the gallery.
I decided this morning to make a Family sized Penthouse for Growing Together expansion, this is the Penthouse so far, the 2nd Floor is the Granny Flat for grandparents or a Teens apartment. I have furnished some of it, there are 4 bedrooms 5 bathrooms. The Clear Roof is for the Grandparents to sit on the platform and look down into a Playroom for the kids.

I landed up changing the glass roof to a Hot Tub area and the white bricks I changed to metal wall cover to look more industrial. This is the uploaded version
