I plan on recreating my Sims April and Thaddeus for the update, they were the first sims I created and the first family that had a toddler after the toddler update. I honestly can’t wait! I’m more excited on recreating my old sims.
Sounds like the perfect family to enjoy Infants first.
With the Mastersons, I’m not planning any more babies for a while, not until the existing kids grow up and are ready to start the next generation. I do have two newlywed couples in my “Parker Saga” save who are planning on starting families. But I think I’ll start a whole new save when infants drop, as I want to get a feel for the gameplay first before adding infants into any of my SimLit saves.
I recently started a new save and forgot to turn off neighborhood stories while I was test playing some builds. Long story short, my magical Welsh couple decided it would be nice to pop one baby in the meantime so I guess Llwyd Rhydderch will be my first infant.
I created my second legacy family on TS4 on September of last year after finishing my first one on TS3 the same month. My 2nd gen sim was going to have his first child but after the news in October, I turned off aging to wait for the update release so my first 3rd gen sim will be the first infant.
Have you already decided which sim family of yours shall be the first to meet the new infants when they arrive? Because I haven't and I need to decide ideas?
I play mainly young adults so I have no idea what I’ll do. 🤔🤷🏼♂️
I want to try them but none of my sims have or are close to having babies. I may have a sim in my game who can have the baby in a few weeks but this depends when the update comes.
Worse come to worse I will just let Emily Parcel have a baby or something.
I really need to know the details of upcoming releases as soon as possible so I can plan my sims next journeys.

Yes and it’s been torture waiting because they are my favorite sim family. I got the female sim pregnant and put it on pause. I can’t wait to pick back up again!

I have an open slot in the Furystrykar household...whether to add an infant when the update comes...I would need to convert a room in Dianthus Hall.

I look at it this way. If my game gets totally wrecked, again, by the long-awaited Infants being bugged, all I can do is shrug. I've grown immune, if you will to having to start all over again. Might even be worth it, in the long run to flat out start all over. We'll see. In the meantime, I'm hoping whatever bugs (and we do know there will be bugs) won't be a game-breaker. I remain, hopeful.

Mine are long gone for the save died but I remember I was in arts district penthouse just awwing as they bobbed to Spop it was good time

there is so many couples and families though which I could play this with I really have hard time choosing
Roll the dice, but first decide whose odd and whose even. Slowly but surely you'll eliminate couples. I have always found if I argue with myself over the final choice, when it's down to just two, and the other one is eliminated by the roll, I go with that one. Best of luck!
Hmmm, I have a few different engaged couples that I have left out of my rotation for the last couple of years (maybe even three!) because I was waiting to see whether there would eventually be any changes to weddings, or if we would get new honeymoon destinations. Then after MWS came out, I was waiting for the longest time for bug fixes, and... then I guess I just forgot about them. Might be a good time to finally get them married off and enjoy a little pre-kid time together before the expansion comes out.
The thing is, at least two of the couples are old favorites... like, from the first handful of households I made. So I have really wanted to play them, but they are fairly special to me, so I haven't wanted to advance their stories until things were just-so. (I don't really do rollbacks or replays.) So maybe I will take a random couple I don't care about as much, and see how the MWS gameplay works for them, and if it goes relatively smoothly, start moving forward with the more important couples to get them ready for the new EP and infant update.

The lucky ones are the second generation of my Legacy, Elizabeth and Matthew Hamilton, young adults, just got married. They're originally from Windenburg, living in San Myshuno, and they're gonna move to Henford once the baby is here.
@Simmingal oh nooo. Salim always gets a happy life in my saves. He’s married several of my sims in various saves. He always ends up being a great father and husband.
Whenever I use him as daddy they have beautiful kids. I've used him more then once in more then one save.

See, now you’ve got my attention. A three headed infant that zooms around in a super buggy would be a very welcome addition to my future infant loving, albeit slightly peculiar, family. This is something I’d absolutely love to experiment with. 😆
