First Infant?

Have you already decided which sim family of yours shall be the first to meet the new infants when they arrive? Because I haven't and I need to decide

Yes! I’ve had the baby born the very week that infants were announced and I haven’t loaded that save since. It’s very tempting to go and age that kid up to a toddler

Possibly the Bheeda pre-made family from CL since Jesminder is pregnant by default. I haven't played them yet but their apartment has been renovated recently in my game. Should be interesting having an infant in such a small apartment.

I have been meaning to restart Bheedas because my stories have been screwing them over in the background for the longest time and I kind of got them stuck in biggest plothole beyond repair with my alien schemes

then again I am pretty sure that I would yet again find another way to destroy Jesminders life she is just cursed like that

Yes. Since my most favorite family in my game is the Erik Cantrell family, I originally thought I would simply roll back to when they were expecting their first child. Problem was, I couldn't keep from playing them for all of this time. So, I turned aging off and have been happily playing them through today. Now, I have no desire to roll back all that way. Erik's winning streak has led to his earning 17 Starlight Accolades for Best Song. So, once the infants drop, Kayleigh will have some news for her hubby. Their fourth child will be the one I take through the process. Should be fun, or total chaos, take your pick.

Still undecided, but most likely it'll be a flashback for one of my existing families.

Yeah

Honestly it would probably be easier to just start new save new stories than try to patch my plotholes but I am too invested in this save to start it all over now

I'm not sure who it will be. Right now none of the families in either one of my active saves is ready to start a family. The one I think I would most like to see be parents is Danielle and Londyn, the couple in my profile pic. When they do become parents will it be adoption or medical procedure, that's the real question?

My current family Salim and Aubrie Benali will be the lucky parents. They are my current favorites and I very rarely switch from their household so it doesn’t make sense to give another household an infant.

I have one family with a baby. It is the sister of my supersim and the result of neighbourhood story phone calls. I wanted to age up the baby weeks ago but decided to wait till the infants update.

I also have another family waiting to get their first child. The mother will be the sim who is my avatar.

So one of these two will be the first infant.

yes! I have a young couple who just had their first baby, so I'm excited for them to be the first to meet the new infants in my game. I have to say I'm very much looking forward to the release

I wish you the best of luck on the Flashback idea. I tried that once with HSY and that save ended up being my new main save reset. Not that this is a bad thing, but it's a cautionary tale, for certain.

Yeah, it depends on whose turn comes up when the update happens. There are possibilities in all 3 families so it depends which one I come to first when the update happens.

Mine will probably be my Aspiration Challenge sim's family. I am currently obsessed with that save file. He has just had twins with his wife Lillian Vatore and they already have a toddeler. He only needs three children for his family aspiration so he doesn't really need a fourth child but I just don't know if I can stop playing him. If I do decide on a different save file it will be whichever couple is up next in my Legacy rotation.

I have! The couple is a chef and an author who writes children's books. They moved from San Myshuno to Copperdale and the wife's pregnant about to pop

@Simmingal oh nooo. Salim always gets a happy life in my saves. He’s married several of my sims in various saves. He always ends up being a great father and husband.

I plan on recreating my Sims April and Thaddeus for the update, they were the first sims I created and the first family that had a toddler after the toddler update. I honestly can’t wait! I’m more excited on recreating my old sims.
