Lol yes, I always get stuck in walls in the sims and in real life but for me, my sims are apparently doing the mannequin challenge when they're supposed to be heading to class and is why they're always late
"Sorry I was late Professor, but I decided to ride my bike around the quad instead of coming in for the Final Exam. It won't affect my grade will it?" I've stopped giving my University students bikes because of this.
Reminds me of an episode of Stargate SG-1 that has aliens who have the technology to phase through walls, I guess they've infiltrated the high school and the batteries in their gadget ran out.
This thread reminds me of a thread that was on here back when Werewolves released. Their sim was late for work (or missing work) because their werewolf sim decided to rampage. I can't remember who made the thread but I found it funny.

I don’t give my students bicycles either. I gave a Sim one once, but she often cycled in the freaking library with it. Bicycles aren’t to be ridden indoors! Unless it’s a purpose-built velodrome of course.

My sims are often late because they auto-selected an activity on the opposite end of the neighbourhood and wanted to walk all the way over to where it would have happened before acknowledging that I cancelled that action
"I was late because I can only leave for work from my front door, I was across the park, and I had to go to the bathroom so it took me over an hour to walk across the park to the front door."
Anytime I have a group of three or more sims meet at a community lot one of them will always, always, lag way behind the rest because they chose to walk through a wall that the rest of the group managed to avoid.

I had to exit without saving. No one, and I mean no one, could extinguish the burning puddle. The fire never spread beyond the puddle. And I couldn't save the game with a fire on the lot.

The taking of forever to eat is an annoyance in sims4, but then, the disgusting way so many Sims gobble their food, flinging it everywhere like pigs, in sims3, is worse.

My weres gobble their food, but you know, we kinda ask for that.
