Hello, I want to freeze all of my sims' physiques. With teens and adults it works nicely, but for children there's just no options at all under Flags->CAS. Am I doing something wrong?

MCCC 2022.6.0 is cleared by Deaderpool for use with patch v.1.93.146, released NOV 21, 2022, no update necessary!

In case anyone was wondering, that patch that broke nothing did not break MCCC (as long as you have 2022.6.0 public or 2022.7.0 patreon) either and it's safe to keep using

Okay... Is it some kind of technical limitation or why are they excluded? Just wondering. Now I have to manually reset them once in a while with "set physique" or inside fulleditmode-cas. Playing without aging, the problem doesn't eventually solve itself, unfortunately. Would be much more convenient, if the flag would apply to them, too. I don't suppose this will be adressed?

Btw, just a suggestion: I think it might be better to turn off the population features for moving and generating new households by default. People who are looking for these features will know where to find them. People not aware of them (such as myself) have to learn the hard way now, when they wanted to manage and design everything themselves and can't tell what's "original" and what's "random" anymore. I actually moved all my households to a new save afterwards.

The story progression containing the features you mentioned is the core idea of the MCCC mod and the reason why it was developed. We have these options now active for seven years and the main argument to use the mod is to have those features of moving and evolving in game. And I have to say that we're a somehow proud presenting them to gamers long before "Neighborhood Stories" was developed by EA. So we offer the mod to those who are interested in having a MCCC story progression and who want those game options. Turning them off would be a contradiction of the intention of the mod. For those who don't intend to use them, those settings can be disabled. But you might also consider not to use MCCC, if you basically don't like them.

I only started playing Sims 4 very recently and I was specifically looking for a way to stop the sims I created from changing shape all the time and MCCC is what I found. Sadly, it only works for most of them, but I don't know of an alternative that works with sims of all ages (or any alternative really). I installed most of the components, because it seemed like there were some useful tools for all kinds of different areas of the game included, but didn't read all the descriptions ahead of time. I turned off both aging and stories, because I prefer to have a combination of the original game world and my own creations over random sims and events, because I prefer to have some "design coherency" in families, households and their jobs and residences over a world of RNGesuses (RNGesi?) randomly mixed together into random places. I'm sure you did some great pioneering work with story progression. That's just my perspective.

I use MCCC for many reasons, but story progression is not one of them. I use it to set custom ages, slow down the clock, make unwanted Sims leave, etc. Story progression may have been the original purpose, but I still consider it an essential mod even though I don't use that portion of it.

I love MCCC and can't play the game without it. However, I'm still learning what all it can do and rarely mess with most of the settings. Happy to realize I can fix the individual needs, instead of the blanket make happy. That way, when I'm sending Sims to a restaurant, I can fix their exhaustion without them losing their appetites, although I have yet to see a Sim turn down a meal, even so. LOL I do flag their physiques, make undesirable Sims (Obsessed Fans) leave and other great features of this mod. But then again, I was a huge fan of Twallen's Master Controller mod, too. It's a pity, that while we can still change the age-level for Sims to marry, MWS won't recognize Teens who are engaged. They can't plan their wedding. This is sad, I was a Teen bride, myself and so was my mother. Working on 48 years strong, here. Oh, well.

This release has been tested to be working with (but does not require) GTW, OR, Get Together, Dine Out, City Life, Vampires, Parenthood, Cats & Dogs, Jungle Adventures, Seasons, Get Famous, Strangeville, Island Living, Realm of Magic, Discover University, Eco Living, Journey to Batuu, Snowy Escape, Cottage Living, Werewolves, High School Years and the patch released November 22, 2022 - PC: 1.93.146.1020 / Mac: 1.93.146.1220.

Versions before this most likely won't work, so don’t be surprised if that’s the case!

The mod folder will look more or less like this after MCCC 2022.7.0 installation/update:
    y4mafU3rq88TnvA_bN-nQYf4GQmLoJ_Qd3EA1WqLeTS_D-oxsgyrY-IzRYaFUvSPv-ZjaFnIBjOAS1DpnCBxRQFwEEpX8B7YD0nNQuIco2_7OYfcf1ImQegG_-wYYb6z3pWzX7D9jMi26esSEOKWTfgejIE1ViqxVEtOhpF9reR2tzNi-woyqm7HqPUEPNhZJy9?width=676&height=512&cropmode=none

As proof of installation the welcome screen of MCCC 2022.7.0 looks like this:
    y4mPEcKgJEEfOJ45WR46mJeI7v_m5lc2M9qfvmtyPaG7uZH-HLQQaWaXSPwMdTIDO79JzWSebsIJfRzzt-VyLnntKQ0k5N9v_FRJ1KQXvq8fK6pdYHHHccnR4KZR9iAbKyPX3i3R5tf_pbgejJitX5F5Ncg-CBYwFvnnU8sIPFa1I9JWqsGdYgnAtA03kqWDtHq?width=278&height=300&cropmode=none

Check the CC and Mods in your game and use current versions only. Be careful when using outdated or orphaned DLC. If you get an orange error message referring to a Last Exception, the reason is most likely broken 3rd party stuff.

Legacy players (32-bit) should keep MCCC version 6.6.0:

Looks like a CC double bed which broke after the HSY release. You might try to fix it with the available S4S batch fix. If this doesn't work you should remove the CC item from your game.

    Help!

I haven't played Sims in a year and have just updated MCCC and everything has changed.

I'm really struggling to find the settings for the following
1.Stop Sims constantly using their phone (and other autonomous annoyances) - tried the enable autonomous scan and nothing I want shows up, even when my sim is using their phone) - I've also searched the tuner settings on the computer without any luck?
    2. (A new one) Stop male Sims wearing feminine clothing and visa versa - nothing against it, just don't want 80% of my male Sims in a dress

    Where are they please?
I've got 99 problems and TS4 glitches are 99 of them

First make sure, that you're using the latest MCCC version 2022.7 (https://deaderpool-mccc.com/#/releases)

    1. Have a look at this description how to use the autonomy scan: https://deaderpool-mccc.com/#/doc/automation. You can also download a tuner.cfg template from this site, which has a lot of predefined unwanted interactions.

    2. There is no MCCC setting which controls the use of gender specific outfits in general for all sims. But you can retag CC items for male/female use only for yexample with S4S.

Does the break-up option include sims who are already married but separated as in living in different households or is it just completely random?

I don't know, if I understand your question. The break-up option includes all sims with the exception of those, who are affected by the respective bypass-options or who have been individual flagged.

So i'm guessing the break-ups and divorces with MCCC are just random then?

I think what you're asking, is whether the MCCC break-up/divorce feature will cause a divorce or break up between Sims who are living separately but married, or only Sims living under the same roof? If I understand this correctly, I think the break up affects the relationship itself and has nothing to do with where the respective couple is living. It just changes their status from "married" to "divorced." They are random just like the marriages. Though they are affected by things that can cause relationships to gain or lose points. Some examples are when one of the couple hates children, but they have children, when they are living with children from a previous relationship, living with in-laws, or different occult types.

I received a pop up from MCCC saying two sims were struggling to stay together while living apart so they decided to break up. If i moved my sim self's second wife out while they were still married, would this be a reason for MCCC to break them up?

I fiddled with the break up settings last night, disabled bypass played households and MCCC broke up every other marriage except my sim self and his second wife (for story telling purposes) Their friendship bar is green but having them argue for a while their romance bars turned to "Awkward Friendship"

I need some help here. I want to stop having all those NPCS flooding my game. I know that I can use MCCPopulation for that. I already tried. The problem is that I started seeing clones of the same Sims everywhere. Perhaps my settings were wrong.

The "science" behind the break up settings. It's based on values and thresholds:

Computer: MCCC > MCCC Settings > Relationship Settings > Auto-Relationship Settings > Breakup Settings > Spouse Relationship Change Percent

Computer:MCCC > MCCC Settings > Relationship Settings > Auto-Relationship Settings > Breakup Settings > Couple Relationship Change Percent

These settings control relationship changes between Sims in a relationship. If it has a zero value, like it does by default, then no breakups will occur. Otherwise, for everything that may either raise or lower the relationship between two Sims (and there are a few things that can), this percent is checked to determine if it should apply the modifier to the relationship or not. After all factors are checked, the relationship can either improve or decline. If it declines enough so either the friendship or romance levels between the two Sims drops below zero, then a breakup will happen.

    Hope this helps a bit.

Unfortunately MCCC doesn't control the game core while creating new NPCs. There are some settings that can affect a random NPC generation but if the game requests a sim for a specific role (mailman, mixologist, bypasser etc.) MCCC does not interfere. There are other mods which are made especially for that purpose, like Bienchen's Townie Overhaul. I also use this one in my game to reroute a role request to already existing sims instead of creating a new sim for that role and it works very well for my playstyle.

Regarding the clones, you might check the following setting from an ingame computer:
Computer:MCCC > MC Population > Populating Settings > Import Tray Settings > Import Tray Sim Percent
This setting determines the chance that a Sim randomly generated by the Sims 4 will import the name and appearance of a Sim from the library of the player instead. 100% means only tray Sims will be used. 0% means no tray Sims will be used.

If you want to use tray sims instead of newly generated sims, there are more options in the said Import Tray Settings menu, to refine the automatic choice of tray sims to be imported.

Thank you @Bonxie I was curious how the mccc selects random sims for break ups.

The other night while waiting for mccc to end my sim selfs marriage to his second wife, happily married couples I knew of in the game were suddenly divorcing and moving out. In another test save, i witnessed mccc destroy every other marriage except my sim selfs marriage. Their relationship shows as 'awkward friends' and they still didn't divorce.

I'm doing it this way so he isn't moping around for a few days with a sad moodlet.

My experience with the new EA App

Finally I replaced my Origin with the EA App. The installation was flawless, my game (my only EA game is S4) is still there and no problems occurred. But then I learned, that you can't change the game language with the EA App. And that's something I need for the MCCC translations. I'm switching between English and German. So I reinstalled Origin again and now I ended with both EA App and Origin on my PC. And this config works pretty good. As long as you don't start them together at the same time.

From the menus and user interface to me the EA App looks more like an Origin update. It feels familiar. I don't "work" with the EA App/Origin and I use only the main functions: I start it, switch to offline mode and launch S4. That's almost the same procedure as with Origin. I'm not familiar with any more in depth functions. For the initial configuration, I set all settings to "disabled" (including auto update of both app and games) and that's all. After the installation my game library was imported automatically. I had literally nothing to do than "double-click setup.exe - wait - finish".

The only thing you should know is that with the EA App installation Origin is automatically deinstalled without a possibility to interfere. But you can install Origin again afterwards without problems. Seems like the Origin registry entries survive the EA App installation. I had to reinstall Origin because you can't change the game language with the EA App, and I do this sometimes for testing purposes while translating MCCC.

If you want to reinstall Origin for whatever reason, you can still download it here (clicking the links will directly start the download):
    PC - Version https://www.dm.origin.com/download
    MAC - Version https://www.dm.origin.com/mac/download

There is also an excellent FAQ post regarding the EA App from @Crinrict which can be found here:
    https://sims4.crinrict.com/eng/2022/11/sims-4-and-ea-app/

Similar to Origin you can switch the EA App to offline mode and deactivate automatic game updates. Since these were the most important options for me in Origin, it might be also interesting for anybody else how to do this in the EA App. So I want to explain shortly how to configure those functions.

SWITCH THE EA APP TO OFFLINE MODE
There were some confusion because of the missing offline mode in the EA App beta version. You can do this now. Here is a short tutorial how to set the EA App offline:

    1) Open the EA App
    2) Click on the menu icon (triple bar) in the upper left window corner and select "Go Offline" (click on 'show' for an image)

Hey... Interested in potentially starting to use MC Command Centre. Specifically, I am interested in the ability to turn off culling. I recently had a bunch of families culled from my save file, which I was none too happy about. I didn't think I was at the culling threshold but they disappeared anyways and I really like to be able to micromanage that sort of stuff in my game.

I am wondering though, how much of the mod is optional? Can you turn on only specific features you're interested in using? I don't want story progression features (as I said, I am a micromanager of my game), but I realize that is a large part of the mod. Is everything disabled upon installing the mod unless you enable those features?

It's such a big mod that I find the information on Deaderpool's site a bit overwhelming. Any assistance on this would be greatly appreciated.

Try the following setting from an ingame Computer:
Computer:MCCC > MC Population > Other Settings > Bypass Sim Culling
If enabled, the EA Culling process that deletes Sims will be deactivated. No culling will occur (although ghost cleaning can still happen if enabled in MC Cleaner). After changing, the game must be restarted for the changes to take effect.

No, the majority of the default settings are trying to reflect the game standard. But the story progression is enabled by default. It contains the pregnancy, marriage and population modules as the core idea of the MCCC mod. This is the reason why MCCC was developed. We offer the mod to those who are interested in having a MCCC story progression and who want those game options. Turning them off would be a contradiction of the intention of the mod. Of course, for those who don't intend to use them, those settings can be disabled. You also don't have to add all modules from MCCC to have it work. Besides mc_cmd_center.package which is mandatory by all means, you only need the mc_cmd_center.ts4script for the mod to work. All other files from the zip (ex. mc_population.ts4script, mc_pregnancy.ts4script, etc.) are optional enhancements and not mandatory for the mod to work. But seriously, it would be a pity not to use the full potential of MCCC once you have it in your game.

Try the search function of our documentation page https://deaderpool-mccc.com/#/. You can search for settings which can be found in the MCCC computer menu and for commands, which are located in the MCCC sim menu. In commands you can also search for the MCCC mailbox cheats. But you're right regarding the size of MCCC. We have now more than 1.000 settings, commands and cheats in the mod.
