Well things just got very interesting for me. My Vampire-Merman caught werebies in the tunnels and now he's a Were-Mer-Pire. His occult UI looks quite, uh, interesting. I didn't know it was possible for existing occults to catch werebies. I know now! :D

It seems any sim or even occult sims can catch werebies but don't quote me on it yet.

I now have an interesting looking new type of Werewolf Hybrid. First she was my FakeAlien/Spellcaster/temp Plantsim with magic powers. Then I removed the Witchoccult trait to give her some Vampire traits gave her the Vamp powers. Then I added the new Werewolf trait after I got the new pack. Opps, she just turned invisable. So I had to remove the Vampire trait. Now, she's no longer invisable, & get this, in her regular non-wolfie form she now has a cute little brown & pink feline/canine nose tip. (FYI: I only play vanilla with my many packs) Oh & she still has a few residue powers from her previous occult traits, so she's still a multi-occult Hybrid.
Her name is Floret Planthybrid & she's saved in the Gallery under my username SEREFRAS if anyone wants to see my latest unique Hybrid sim gal. :p

Is this a mod? They usually code lock hybridization.

I once had an alien mom and vampire dad and two of their daughters were alien like mom but I think they had fangs and they definitely did that thing with the hands like vampires.

How did you create the hybrid?

I did it. No mods or cheats. So I had an island elemental and used dedeathify then turned into a mermaid. Only really if you want the sulani mana trait. Then she moved in with a werewolf. Lot traits on were both the leyline traits so chance of twins and vampire babies. Then tried for baby. Got twins — one in a vampire cot and strangely one in a black spellcaster cot. Aged up the twins and they are vampire/werewolf hybrids. They can drink blood, can’t stand sunlight, have thirst and vampire energy in their needs bar but they can only go up ranks in werewolf side. They can also howl etc and get raged. I’m not sure on everything they can do yet.

Very interesting that this is possible.
just out of curiosity, what does the needs panel look like?

I have a weird situation with a spellcaster-werewolf hybrid too. First off, I have used NO mods, or cheats for this situation. I don't actually have any mods, not even that MCC command center thing and have never downloaded CC content save households and lots from the gallery.

So, I started out this family with one mom, who had a bunch of babies with aliens, if there was a different color, there was a new baby. One of those half-alien children (who's got a turquoise skin-tone), took the Rite of Spellcasters and became a Spellcaster by trade rather than birth. So this half-alien Spellcaster then did "Try for Baby" with Greg and wound up with triplet girls (didn't realize the leyline was on for her house that caused multiples). Two of the girls were regular skintoned and came home from the hospital in werewolf bassinets. The last girl was turquoise and in a spellcaster bassinet. I figured "ok, two wolf babies and a spellcaster baby". Yet all three of them as toddlers would get the fang pain anger moodlet related to werewolf toddlers.

I now have them as teenagers and the two regular skin-toned girls are fully werewolf. A wolf icon next to traits in CAS, they have the wolf forms and they do the howling motion in CAS and they have the wolf needs chart. The turquoise girl, however, has NO wolf OR spellbook in CAS, no wolf form, does the magic spells as her CAS motions. But her needs icon is wolf, she still gets wolf-related moodlets and the needs window has an overlay of wolf and something else underneath it that I can't see but is probably Spellcaster related. The needs themselves are reversed (bladder where fun is, fun where bladder is, etc) and hygiene is totally missing so I guess she never has to bathe again.

I wish you the best for your game to never fix her.

Do you mean me RoseyaSimi4? I made three different saves, one keeps her as her adorable broken self. The other two saves were to take away spellcaster and to take away werewolf to see how that went. As soon as one gets taken, the game seems to know what to do and properly assigns the remaining occult status. So she has three lives as a broken soul, a pure werewolf and a pure spellcaster.

The interesting thing, though, is that I couldn't save her in time before her first full moon. That's when I found out she DOES have a werewolf form she transforms into, though CAS doesn't have her having one. It's a demented looking white goat-wolf thing avatar on the bottom left who's invisible as she rages and destroys things except for the red rage glow around her so I know where she is. When she reverted to 'human' she stayed an anthro goat-wolf thing in her face with ears that get pinned to the top of the screen so if she sits, the ears stretch all the way down to the ground.

I made accidental hybrid triplets, only 2 are hybrid the 3ed is full wolf. Had a pair of wolves get pregnant with the lot trait On A Dark Ley Line. Now they are teens, 2 of them have vampire needs with wolf ability panel. Also they have a dark form and a wolf form.

Most of my Occult sims are a Vampire/Werewolf Hybrid, plus Alien & Spellcaster. :p;)

It would be super cool if they made hybrids an actual feature but that would get awfully complicated and difficult to make work for Sims probably.... especially with just how many combinations there would be and if where in the family tree this or that occult is would effect anything (as in like would the be a difference between a Sim who's mother is the daughter of a werewolf and vampire and father the son of a mermaid and spellcaster compared to a Sim who's mother is the daughter of a spellcaster and vampire and father the son of a mermaid and a werewolf.... and would percentage of each impact how much they take after that occult.... like would a Sim that's 20% alien, 40% mermaid, and 40% vampire be different from a Sim that's 40% alien, 30% alien, and 30% vampire? Ack, now my brain hurts!)

Not to mention that your sim would have to have so many different forms. Vampiric dark form, werewolf beast form, mermaid form, alien disguise form. Not to mention the possibilities of combined forms. My first idea in that regard would be vampire-alien normal alien form, normal disguised form, dark alien form, and dark disguised form. Yeah, it is going to be a headache...

Werewolf hybrids are still possible, and it turns out that no dormant wolf trait is required. Should your sim become another occult after being given a cursed bite by a werewolf (which the game won't block), you can get any sim to become a werewolf hybrid without cheats.

I haven't landed a stable hybrid that actually functions in years. The last one I had was a Mermaid Spellcaster hybrid named Poseidon Iles and he had mermaid weather abilities as a regular part of the menu, no mer-form but had mermaid interactions in the water, and he was otherwise a normal spellcaster. He didn't have the Mermaid menu so no songs or anything. I think all of the various UI additions and changes over the years did him in because I deleted him at some point when all of that stopped happening. Most Spellcaster Mermaid children that were hybrids were broken beyond playability

I definitely want to try the trick of having someone get a cursed bite and then making the sim a spellcaster. That's a neat combo
